Happy Labor Day! I've seen September snow before, so it certainly isn't out of the question, lol. Although we've had some absolutely beautiful weather lately. The roof should get started in the next couple of weeks. Got to put metal lathe in between the logs so I can put the chinking in place. I've been putting some dirt fill inside as a base for the crushed rock. It will be for baled hay only, but we will also keep our various grains out there as well. :-)
what would you have done if that porcupine shot his quills at one of the bison? You can't take it to the vet or can you? Or are the bison hides thick enough where the quills won't penetrate? Thanks. Did you play with Lincoln Logs when you were a child, because you sure are doing a great job with the larger size model. Take care Black Ranch Family until next time.
We would have to have the vet come to us. The worst place to get the quills would be in the nose. And since they stick their noses into everything to get a whiff...that would be a nose full of quills! I did play with Lincoln logs, lol, but evidently not enough to satisfy my building capacities! But I sure am making up for it now! Thank you for watching our videos, we appreciate it very very much! Have a good rest of the week!
WOW that Porcupine was a bit close. Great progress. Thank you for sharing. Thoughts and Prayers. Love and Blessings.

Happy Holidays, Is snow coming soon? and when are you going to work on the roof? and is the barn only for bale hay only?
