Congrats on the new snake! As a Viper guy, I would consider sending it to either Calvo Motorsports or Viper Exchange for a heads/cam/tune package and 700+ WHP that really livens the car up and gives it a more aggressive overall sound.
I mean it’s a nice car but IMO the aventador is better… looks and sounds better for nearly the same price as the viper don’t get me wrong the viper is such a beautiful car but the aventador gives a kick
I’m like you.... if I ever bought a exotic I’d drive it until the new wore off then it would be parked. Give me a zr1 and a GMC Denali duramax and I’m perfectly content with life. Exotics just do nothing for me and I were to buy exotic it would probably be Ferrari to be honest.

@@zolutional no where near the same price, I think mike said that one when new was $140k and that was the top of the line viper. The Aventador S new is $415k and the SVJ is $500k new. Don't get me wrong a Aventador is a sexy beast but it's everywhere the Viper is not as common which is why they are appreciating in value. But you can't go wrong with either.
I’d love for you to talk about the gearing and shifting for the viper. I know it has long gears but it’s hard to grasp without seeing it. So a video with that would be good. See how fast you can go in each gear before shifting. It be fun to watch that
I hate to say that I'd rather it stay stock. This car too too special. I bet a low mile real clean one in this color will reach $350k within 5 years, and $500k within 20.

It kept true to it's nature and only got better over time. They did what the 911 took decades to do and did it in half the time. They perfected the FR NA platform like Porsche did the RR. I've always been a Chevrolet / Corvette guy, but always thought Vipers were cool. That being said, having driven both, and currently own Corvettes, I'd still opt for a Corvette.

Have you had a look at the new Lotus Emira? It looks really great, styling reminds me of a cross between a Mclaren and a C8 Corvette, it's starting price will be around $60k and come in two different engine options and most importantly about this car which makes it special is that it will have a 6 speed manual as an option. Knowing how you enjoy a proper stick shift manual car and were sad at the thought they were going away, Lotus is keeping it alive and it may make a nice addition to your channel to add some great content.

Growing up playing the playstation 2 I would always would pick the Viper and Grant Turismo and even to this day i always gravitate towards the viper fot the perfect balance in corners and Great-Power and straight line speed that it offers in other games. I just wish I'll get the drive one in real life sometime
The green ACR with carbon fiber is absolutely stunning. The potential for upgrades is near endless. 1 of 31? Definitely has the wow factor. I fell in love with the Countach back in the late 70's and I have been in love with Lamborghinis for nearly 50 years. It has always been a dream car. I remember as a teen in the early 80's I would occasionally come across a used Countach, in the magazines, for around $35k. Of course that was closer to $100k in today's dollars. As an impractical wishful thinking teen, that seemed completely possible. Houses were not much more at that time. But I have to say, with nearly every UA-cam car person having a lambo, the appeal of the ACR in this color, is so much more. I think you made the right choice and look forward to see what you will do with it. Good decision, Mike.
Two iconic cars, these will keep your channel alive forever. However, I see this being apart of Aventador/C63 split window history. Not that I want it to, I'd love to see a full build on the viper (as promised) vs. ZR1 but... Maybe you need to turn one into a drag set up? Two daily driven 1,000+ hp monsters? You mentioned a twin turbo mustang, I've been waiting hard on that!

@@nowifinoobs just as much enjoyment with a sequential, it's more of a performance upgrade to get it, quicker shifts, keep the car in the power band, boost by gear etc. Too many perks not to get the upgrade.

Wait till Calvo works his magic, my friend had the same color car Calvo built think it was around 1800hp and OMG amazing car. Now he has a 720’s and I love that car but still think I would have kept the viper over the 720.
I just commented the same thing, CALVO has the baddest VIPERS I've ever seen especially when I watch the sequential TT setups man those thing are literally rocket ships on wheels.

If I had to choose between the ZR1 and the Viper I would choose that Viper Corvettes are a dime-a-dozen but you don't see very many specs like that and there's not very many ACR's out there
I rode in a calvo car… Definitely do the sequential with their 1800 package. The pure sounds, pops on the shifts, etc is soo sick and you would love it
The Viper was never built to be refined it was built for people to have fun with and play around with. But the ACR was killing all the Italian cars in the track lap times.
One of the coolest things about this car is seeing how when you redline the RPM, there’s a red viper logo that lights up in the tachometer. I had no idea. That looks so menacing!
The garage looks way more badass with the zr1 and the acr together than it did with the two yellow lambos. The viper is awesome! Can’t wait to see what it becomes!
I would rather have the Z. The ACR is mostly just a track pack for the viper and takes a hit at the top end with all the aero stuff whereas the z is more powerful and much more liveable on the day to day. However, if I was primarily buying a car to track it I’d have the ACR in a heartbeat!
Keep the manual! Each of my C7 Z06’s (one for winters in FL, modded to about 725 hp, and a Z06/Z07 for summers in MI) have manuals, and the fun and engagement quotient more than make up for that little bit of quickness lost.

I would rather have the Z. The ACR is mostly just a track pack for the viper and takes a hit at the top end with all the aero stuff whereas the z is more powerful and much more liveable on the day to day. However, if I was primarily buying a car to track it I’d have the ACR in a heartbeat!

Keep the manual! Each of my C7 Z06’s (one for winters in FL, modded to about 725 hp, and a Z06/Z07 for summers in MI) have manuals, and the fun and engagement quotient more than make up for that little bit of quickness lost.
