      I agree. Great video. 👍 Nice to hear your voice too. 😊 Those some of my all-time fave Gymnos - Carnelian and Emerald! Just loooove the colours. Would love to get my hands on those. 😂 Akadama will still be the best medium for all sorts of cacti and succulents, I feel especially in our humid environment.       Cactaceae Review i agree. They are quite a staple here in SG now. All my cacti and succulents are in this mix plus a bit of lava rocks. Stay safe, brother. Don’t ever get tired of bringing us awesome videos of plants. 👍💪🥰

    Great video, very inspiring... Have you tried the other method in which putting the pot on a tray filled with water (instead of putting it inside the plastic bag)?

      Hi Vicky, I haven tried the tray with water method but shd works just as well except that water will evaporate off. Thanks for sharing Vicky 😊

      @@CactaceaeReview Thank you for your reply. I aware that the water will gradually evaporates, hence the routine watering is needed (every 2-3 days). From what i have read, this method (by putting the pot on a water-filled tray) will create natural moist and minimizing the risk for "roasted/baked" condition for the pups (if the environment getting too hot)

    Does this work with other cacti species like astrophytum? also have you tried this with pseudolithos? - these are very rot prone, which is why I ask. Thank you for the video!

      I havent tried astrophytum. For pseudolithos pups? I personally dont think so. The enclosed bag might cause them to rot faster 👍🏻

    Does the same method work for succulents like Haworthia etc? Or does this work for cacti only? I live in Finland and the air is very cold and dry right now and my succulent cuttings aren't growing any pups, so I was wondering if there is anything I could do to help them.

      I did not dry them for the cactus u see in the video. But yes, u can dry them for a week before preparing to root them 😊

      For this rooting method i dont water. Keep in plastic bag for 2 weeks. For general, once a week but still depends on your enviroment. Thanks Charles.
