Fantastic video, they rooted very well and I’ll definitely give this method a go. Thank you for sharing with us, congrats on your 2K subscribers too 👍🏻 Stay safe and well my friend 🌵☀️🌼🏜
I agree. Great video. 👍 Nice to hear your voice too. 😊 Those some of my all-time fave Gymnos - Carnelian and Emerald! Just loooove the colours. Would love to get my hands on those. 😂 Akadama will still be the best medium for all sorts of cacti and succulents, I feel especially in our humid environment. Thank you for sharing and congratulations - 2K subscribers! 🥳🥳🥳
Cactaceae Review i agree. They are quite a staple here in SG now. All my cacti and succulents are in this mix plus a bit of lava rocks. Stay safe, brother. Don’t ever get tired of bringing us awesome videos of plants. 👍💪🥰
Great video, very inspiring... Have you tried the other method in which putting the pot on a tray filled with water (instead of putting it inside the plastic bag)?
@@CactaceaeReview Thank you for your reply. I aware that the water will gradually evaporates, hence the routine watering is needed (every 2-3 days). From what i have read, this method (by putting the pot on a water-filled tray) will create natural moist and minimizing the risk for "roasted/baked" condition for the pups (if the environment getting too hot)
@@CactaceaeReview i have a question sir.. how about putting rooting hormone.. will the days shorten to have roots or iit is best not to apply root hormone for it..?
Hi..one is pumice rock granules and what is another brown granules cnt understand ..plz tell ..I m from India..what temperature is suitable for dis to root..is it vermiculite
Does this work with other cacti species like astrophytum? also have you tried this with pseudolithos? - these are very rot prone, which is why I ask. Thank you for the video!
Does the same method work for succulents like Haworthia etc? Or does this work for cacti only? I live in Finland and the air is very cold and dry right now and my succulent cuttings aren't growing any pups, so I was wondering if there is anything I could do to help them.
I need to try this. Is it okay to use fungicide to avoid fungus? Also, do you have a video on the soil you will transfer them to after they have roots?
Hi La na, i think a great idea to put fungicide 😊. Soil wise you can use whats good for you depending on your area condition. Have fun trying and good luck 🎉🎊🎉🎉🎊
@@CactaceaeReview just another question.. if it already has a tiny root straight from the mother, will this method work as well? If yes can I do it immediately?
Hallow.. I'm from West Bengal, india.. how to get akadama stone here.. Amazon or other online shopping sites doesn't provide it..please help me if you can.
I feel like im a pro now by watching your video.. Thanks!
Wow those babies formed beautiful plump white roots! I’ll have to try this method out, thanks! New subscriber here 👌
They’re so beautiful! Currently trying out this method! 😊 Thanks for this video! 😊

Oh, this is good! I haven’t gotten a hold of akadama yet but definitely worth trying. 😃🌵☕️
Thanks!
Thanks for this. I really thought I need a rooting powder to do this.
I enjoyed watching😌🤲💞I love cacti and grow many
Impresionante, bellísimo! Por favor, como haces para que tenga tantos hijos?
Si como ase
Just beautiful. Thank you for sharing your process
thanks for sharing this. I've been looking for other ways to root my hybrid gymno cactus. Hoping this way will turn out good for me too!
Good luck Sheena 😊❤❤❤
Hi! I just love this vid.
Im in Latinamerica so I cant find akadama or pumice here... can I use vermiculite insted?
Give it a try Ana. Good Luck! ❤
Thank you so much for sharing your experiences 😊
Do you sterilize your soil before? I’ve heard different things.
These are beautiful
Fantastic! I've tried with my pups but they started to rot :( Have you experienced something like this? Any tips to avoid it? Tks for sharing :)
Hi.. I successful rooted my gymno offset, is there a vid on what to do next when transferring to normal soil? do I do it straight away and water?
Very nice
Thanks Sunder 😊🌻🌺🌼
Thank you Very much. Really helpful vedio. But i have a question that what is the next care after this.? Thank you.
Great video, very inspiring... Have you tried the other method in which putting the pot on a tray filled with water (instead of putting it inside the plastic bag)?
Hi Vicky, I haven tried the tray with water method but shd works just as well except that water will evaporate off. Thanks for sharing Vicky 😊

Wowww. Beautiful specimen. I wish to get one like it. Nice information. What is the name of this cacti?

Very good root system!👍

Wow! Amazing!
Thanks, u have a great day 👍🏻
Hi. Thank you video. The temperature in the greenhouse is 17 degrees at night and 24 degrees during the day. Is rooting also a problem?

Can we use perlite and vermiculite instead of pumice?
Hello does the plastic bag have any holes for change of air ?
Cuantos dias se dejan asi
👍. Great tip bro. Can I use this methodology for other cactus pups. ? Thanks 😊
Give it a try, its fun 😊
Very very very GOOOD👌👌👌Please write your Soil material For us🙏🙏thanks

Hi there ! What is Atacama ? From where it can be purchased . Do answer me. Thanks
I have gymnos which roots are stop working . Should I reroot them the same way ?
Thx for sharing 🌷

You are welcome, aldy 😊

I havent tried astrophytum. For pseudolithos pups? I personally dont think so. The enclosed bag might cause them to rot faster 👍🏻
Quanto tempo fica no saco ?
Can you list the recommended items on the description box
Hi there, thanks for the video :)! You mentioned about placing the bags under light. Can I put them under my growlights? Will that be too much?
Should be ok. Not as harsh as full Sun 👍🏻
Wow amazing.. :) gonna try this too with my pups..
Good luck to you 😊
Do you use fungicide in your water?
Can I use only pumice because I don't have the brown stones?
Hello nice pups !! Plus one please 😄
oh! the pain of motherhood...oh! the drama... -- i do the same with perlite but i like your method better. carmine
Haha! Thanks Carmine!
Hi
Do u use any hormone or some drugs to make them to root or its just need to rest fo couple of days and then like what u did?
what is the red round fertilizer your putting? or is that a fertilizer or something?
They are red osmocote 😊
Hello can you also grow the pups from a moon cactus?
Any alternative for akadama? Will this work in agua dulce cactus?
Hi Cheish, you can try Pumice. Have not tried on LB agua dulce.
if it 's just gritty mix media/soil instead of what u have, will it work?
Hi. I tried this but it didn't work for me. Probably too moist.
It's take place on shadow net, partly sunny or totally under roof?
As long as not direct Sun. Those you mentioned are fine to me 😊
@@CactaceaeReview thanks

U can dry the cactus for a few days before trying. 😊
Same methods applied to grafted pups/scion right? Tricolor or dark color ones
Yes Christinn 😊
