FYI on the sienna it would have to be 2011 or older with over 150k miles if you want it under 10k. That’s not a big deal for some people since they generally last a while but just know it won’t be the newest nor the least driven for that price range. Just based on what I’ve seen on auto tempest for one with a clean title. I’m sure you could find something better private party if you search often
I went from a Tahoe to a minivan because I was going to be driving around two grandmothers who couldn’t step up into an SUV anymore and a toddler. I love the sliding doors that I can open with my remote from afar, and the fact that the toddler, now five-year-old, can get into it by herself. I don’t have to worry about the doors opening up into a car next to us in the parking lot, and the car seat is so much more accessible with sliding doors. I thought of going back to an SUV, but I am sold. Mine is a used 2014 Sienna that I got for about $16,000 with 85K miles. I am now up to 131K miles, and will likely trade to a ‘15 or ‘16 when I get to ~150K.
can't. Used car prices inflation due to the ramsey's. Demand for used cars have skyrocketed where 3 year old models with 30k miles are 3000 dollars cheaper than brand new.
We had a 2010 town and country that was getting up to 285k miles. Was still going strong till my brother got in a wreck. Still miss that van. Was running so strong.Plenty of room. Had fold down seats to open up the entire area for loading up and carring stuff. Even had a hitch to pull something. Very comfortable and was upgraded. Even had plugs to hook up a gaming system with inverter integrated to play on a drop down tv. Great sadness
Town & country should be removed from the list they are service nightmares. Toyota Sienna and odyssey should be top of everyone’s list. Don’t want to drain your emergency funds on repairs every couple months.
We bought a 2012 dodge grand-caravan crew for $13000. It was a Money well spent. I never thought I would be driving a mini van but I love it now. There’s so much room for the kids. They don’t have to be next to each other specially with a long road trip.
Is the cost of living much cheaper in TN then PA? If so, will Papa Dave let us stay with him while looking for a home? I cannot find a home within the percentage he gives on cost and I cannot find a used minivan under 12000 and that is with almost 200000 miles and 1 accident.
I asked in the local homeschool group if anyone had one that was really old to sell when I wanted to buy for $1,000... there were others wanting to private sell and buy at other pricepoints and the question ended up serving a lot of people- homeschoolers are rich with minivans.
@@Lillbetlayne Thank you, I was thinking inside of my box and forget that to do this you have to live uncomfortable until you reach your goals (baby steps). My wonder is if that will be applicable today or in the future because of the cost of vehicles and then the fear the pandemic brought up. But I will look to individuals vs. companys instead.
@@sampolansky6214 So double it!! Pandemic sure throws in a wrench... But the pricepoints were generally $5000 or less. I bet you can find something! And totally, please do not have shame over the pricepoint comparison. I was aggressive with my ask simply because we had a decent car and hadn't built a sinking fund at the time. We had an empty seat and were expecting a baby which turned out to be two babies. We had to buy in a hurry and I was not going to go into debt! So-- I ended up paying $1500 so I didn't really meet my goal, either -- but my main point was that homeschool moms equal minivan hotspot. It's a lovely place to seek an opportunity. Find someone who knows or is in the community that you know, and it'd be my first bet for a minivan.
Hey, I really liked this 🧐👍 very practical. I'll be keeping an eye out. Right now we have a car and a large suv. I think our next purchases could end up being a mid size pick up and a mini van
A great used minivan? Chrysler? No. Dodge? No. Chevrolet? No. And you are not going to get a 2015 Toyota or Honda for under $10K unless it has a lot of miles on it or it has a salvage title. Sorry, but this is NOT where I would turn for automotive advice. Would it be too hard for Ramsey/Cruze to bring in a car expert for this types of videos?
Contact her directly for a full list of minivans under 10k with 300k miles on it. And dont forget to subscribe to her, to get more of false advertising.
Now they need to cut you a check for this video and whichever van you have needs to cut you 2 checks to tell everyone what you drive. 🤑😎 Great video Rachel.

You probably should've also included information on HOW TO FIND these minivans under $10k?🤔🤷♀️

I need a van but I can’t find any van that’s under 20k. 2015 Toyota on edmunds is 21k right now. Where do I find these minivans that’s under 10k?
You would need to search for model years way before 2015 likely 2012 or even older.
You could probably find one with higher mileage. Try searching CarGurus nationwide for only 2015 Siennas and put an 11k price limit.

Whoever reads this, keep grinding don’t give up
Thank you...needed to read that today.
where are you finding these? what about the problems, like odyssey electrical issues?
MY husband and I are actually shopping for a used minivan today. Excellent timing!!
Highly recommend Honda Odyssey or Toyota Sienna that way you aren’t draining your emergency fund every couple months on repairs.
I’m 25 and have no kids and it’s one of my dreams to have a Honda Odyssey. I aspire to be a soccer mom 😂
You’re cute 😊
@@IJoeAceJRI lol!
2015 Sienna for 10K ?!!!! Which world are you living in?
Does Rachel ever share how she stays looking so healthy and in shape?
The Mazda 5 is a small vehicle in comparison to the others on your list..

i cant find any of these for under 10k they would have to be older then 2012 with 160k plus miles
My family has a dodge. Great car. Sliding doors are a life saver when it’s pouring rain in Florida and you can open the doors before you go outside.
Which has best mpg
Love this thanks!
