Prophet 5 Demo - 80s Synth Funk

  • I have finally obtained my dream instrument, the prophet 5! After paying someone to restore it, it unfortunately arrived dead and in rough shape. I have done quite a bit of work to this to finally bring it back to life and make it perfect. this video is a quick and dirty remake of Network's hit covergirl. The prophet essentially defined this genre of music. All of the sounds are custom, no presets were used! Also, my prophet 5 has a brand new replacement power supply in it, it is one of a kind. If anyone would like more info I will make a video.

intheblink thanks!, I almost gave up on it and went to a p6, but after rigging it up enough to make sound, I couldn’t let it go. Was pretty scary to start pulling boards and soldering stuff but I got more comfortable as I learned the instrument. I haven’t even bothered putting the screws back in yet haha, it seems like every few days I gotta open her up to fix something lol.

El Funk sin la Electronica seria el mismo sonido acustico caracteristico de los 70s.
