I just picked up the Rev-1 kit to add the SSM filter to my Rev 3.2 Prophet 5. As soon as I can get it to my tech, he'll install it. She already sounds amazing, but with the SSM filter with additional 12db and Q compensation settings, it will be like having a Prophet 5, OB-X in the same synth. Congrats on the classic P5. I know you'll love her.
Wow, wow, wow! The sweeping pads you are playing at the beginning here are just our of this world, Claudio. The musicality of this instrument is a perfect match for your talent. You were meant for each other! Thanks for continuously inspiring, and congrats on finishing the studio, it's been a thrill watching the progress, and something to look forward to through this terrible year. Thank you and happy holidays.
Oh my gosh! These sounds are so sweet to my ears. Heard a lot of classic sounds that came came straight from this love box. This one is my most wanted synth of all time. Great acquisiton, Claudio.
all I can say is Holy freakin' WOW Doctor...you just confirmed why the analog synth's and their monster filters of old cannot be reproduced digitally. I purchased the rev2 earlier this year and it doesn't even come close to that sound I just heard on your new/old Prophet 5. You are the bomb my brother and now I am going to be on the hunt to find one...(keep on doing what you do!)
1st time I ever saw the Prophet 5 was when the band Japan were performing Ghosts on Top of the Pops in the early 80s. It made all the creepy weird sound effects. I totally loved it from that moment. Very unique sound
Constructed around Zilog Z 80 microprocessor. The reason to use it was that it was common in home computers and thus readily available and relatively speaking cheap. The story has it that the guys started to plan a computer that could create sounds, realising that they were essentially after a synthesiser. Moog Source uses the same processor as well. "Bette Davis Eyes" and Paul McCartney's "Wonderful Christmas Time" were among the first songs to present this synth. If you want to stand between two synths, you'll need a cape ala Rick Wakeman, LOL ! ;)
Isso sim é música! Esse vídeo definitivamente entrou para minha lista de vídeos preferidos do youtube, obrigado por ter feito esse vídeo! Greetings from Brazil

You are amazing my friend. You love what you do, you are so entusiastic when you use your new 'toys', your energy is so high. I love to whatch your videos just to fell your joy, makes me feel great too.
OMG! Completely forgotten what you said about the project you "needed" this for, but just YES, YES YES!! Couldn't you have made the video a bit longer, lost in the moment there!
I'm immensely jealous right now! 😁 That is such a fantastic instrument! 😛 You MUST set up a live jam session as soon as possible my good sir, we all need to hear your fantastic talent some more! Keep up the good work!😃

Best Polysynth out there. Without a doubt. Amazing sounds, great playing, there were some beautiful parts there when you jammed. Congrats! You should try to emulate the Sound of Radioheads ''Everything In It's Right Place''. Sounds like a Rhodes, but is actually played on a Prophet 5!
@@Supremeteamcaptain the Prophet is pretty awesome, but there are lots of vintage polys that belong in this club. The Prophet-5 is everything an analogue synth should be - looks and sounds perfect.
No wonder the themes of Blade Runner and Terminator were created with it.
@@OpenGL4everBlade Runner was also created using a Yamaha CS-80, a bigger and more expressive version than the SCI Prophet-5.

So when did watching somebody play a synth become so damn enjoyable? I was smiling the whole way through! More of the same, please.
Isn't that basically what gigs are? ;-)
My god! Minimoog + Prophet-5 both together is a match made in heaven!
I just love how warm the Prophet-5 can sound - such a deep and rich warmth in tone :)

It’s really nice when you slow down, skip the edits, and create music. Would love to see this on an album!
