The authors of the bill can't define the terms they use in this bill. What is "Altered facsimile"? The bill lists a number of guns and states "Including, but not limited to" anything with the capability of a gun. This bill includes rim fire .22 caliber guns. The definitions in this bill can include any magazine fed and some non-magazine fed guns. If the authors can't or choose not to define the ambigious terms in this bill it will be our courts that convict some that couldn't determine what the law intents. Agree or disagree with the intent of this bill it should at least be clear, this bill is not clear.

This needs to lead to the last time Democrats take office the Supreme Court already ruled in the favor of Bruin. By the Bruins standard, there is no outline before 1776 and banning assault weapons. Secondly classify what an assault weapon is you cannot AR 15s have never been used on any battlefield. We the people should be able to own anything that the US military owns anyways or do you want to keep infringing on second amendment rights. Since back when our Soldiers were still being issued bolt action Springfields 1903s in WW1 and up almost until WW2. You could buy a semi-automatic rifle from Sears & Roebuck, and it would come to you in a box in the US Mail. It has the same magazine capacity as an ar-15, the same rate of fire as an ar-15, only the bullet is bigger and does much more damage. Where was this epidemic then? Why were there no mass shootings then? If it were the gun, it would have been the gun for a hundred years. This epidemic is only 40 years old. We don't have a gun problem, we have a brat problem. For the most part, these School shooters are from the first generation that we couldn't discipline as children. Clearly "time out" just didn't work. But as long as we continue blaming it on the gun (much like sending thoughts and prayers to act like we care), we'll NEVER find a solution.
