- We were allowed to take our cameras though the crew only doors and behind the scenes on the carnival triumph to talk with the head chef and sample some of his creation and also to see how the kitchens work on this mega cruise ship. The trip was sponsored by Brewertravel.com and CruiseLifeCargo.com with special help from Carnival.com
thanks. my husband and I have been on 22 carnival cruises and we were on Triumph for our first cruise in 2008. we wished we had done this tour. now they don't offer anymore. great piece young man
i have been on 16 cruises and i must say the galley tour was one of the most interesting thing on the ship its fantastic that they can produce all those meals everyday
Thanks so much, we really try to bring informative and interesting videos from our cruises
Chef govin bahall..i worked with him 13years ago in carnival fantasy..he was a sous chef at that time...he's a good leader and inspiring 👍
"Just like, you're almost like at the ocean kinda dining on it. Very great." Quote of the year right there.
Before I became in travel industry I was a Chef on a Hawaii Cruise many years ago. My favorite culinary bucket list. I made 1200 dishes a shift.
hard work i love cruises and respect their jobs
Amazing galley
Thank you thank you thank you I have always wondered why salsa in a Mexican restaurant always comes across to me as a soapy flavor I didn't know that cilantro comes across to most people tasting like soap thank you I did not know this
Incrível!
It's also depends on cost effect
I was hoping to see the supply chain and operations.
Supply chain is SYSCO.
You must Be a Sailor,,,I was thinking the same thing..
you dont chew oyster i guess
I find it funny that with carnival, all the Captains and bridge crew are italian, almost all the waiters are slavic, and all the chefs are indian/pakistani...Its just odd, like why are almost all cruise ship captains italian in general, and why are most carnival chefs indian. Is it some national tradition, i dont know about?
there is a very good reason for that and that's the excellent captain's schools they have in Italy. Italy produces great captains.
Because indians are low paid
because india is too much populated and have no enough jobs ....so competition is very tough here so people flew away to join jobs.
when i came to that company on 1995 i was so surprise because what i see on the kitchen or galley allmost indian.
i think because of company pay cheaper for indian worker on the ship.
specialy whe i left that company on 2014 allmost all departement are indian.....
but i never seen worker from pakistan.....
