Between 15 yrs - 20 yrs. It all depends on the size of the fleet as well and your leadership capability.

When he was at first or second dude and was remembering his name im like i bet he has a lot of staff and boy he does i mean each guy could be from another country on each cruise outing thats nutz. The dude was enthusiastic and never i had seen a video where the exec chef went around introducing his staff like that which was cool. It would be a good dream to work for a cruise company. Ive been working at a chinese restaurant last 5 years mainly prepping and delivery and i just started working pollo tropical ss prep station dude as well... but alrrady first few days i can feel im not gonns get along with the crew but if i can get x amount of months on my belt (how long months wise do you guys thing i need for a cruise company start considering my job experince and another question its 12 2020 havr cruise ships went back to operation yet? Since covid crappo?) Lemme know but working for a cruise ship i hesrd its like 3 months on 3 months off or something tjat would friggin awesome 3 months on would be crazy but i dk last 5 years i worked no sick or vaction days cuz its just me and 2 chinese chicks who run the to go shop... they havent had a day off since 2010 when they opened except for covid or some hurricanes coming thru... i at least had off every sunday but no sick or vacation days. If i could get some good off time i wouldnt mind busting ass for a period time to get there ya know easier sed than done but ya know what i mean
Lemmr know if anyone reading this has worked cruise companys b4 and maybe if wanna give me some experiencetial knowledge of ur own from working there that would be super awesome!

Chef all departments in galley u shown nicely, appreciated that,but please sometimes introduce galley Utility guys also because they r also a part of galley n main structure of galley... because without them galley can't operate with clean equipments..then you..
That would be a different video altogether. This video is more about a days work of a Chef like I described in my intro at the beginning of the video.
But yes, galley utilities are the back bone of any kitchen operation. 👍

Sir I have one year experience of galley work can I apply for cruise line job.
Anyone with the relevant qualification can apply for a cruise job. You just have to apply through an cruise job agency in your respective country. You can search for them on Google.
I've worked on The QE2 Cruisliner and as hard as the chefs work, I think the Waiters have it harder. Longer hours and a lot more to do.
I was on the QE2 from 1998 till 2008. Good memories!

Interesting to watch, but I have never cared for fancy foods. Fish of any kind is absolutely off the menu. Shrimp is OK. Prime rib and potatoes are what makes my mouth happiest.
