This would honestly make such a damn good TV series if the budget was there, or a fantastic trilogy of films if the studios believed in its success.
The potential is there for sure.
Animated TV series would be the best for it. It wouldn't be right without the original voice cast either, particularly Blums Dempsey and Nolan Norths Richtophen.

Unfortunately, the largely negatively received reviews (as well as sales from both Treyarch and Sledgehammer Games) with BO4 Zombies, a pretty alright but not groundbreaking Cold War Zombies, and the absolute dogshit of a mode that is Vanguard Zombies), the budget for the Zombies mode was cut down immensely. I highly doubt that unless MW3 Zombies were to create something truly memorable like the mode from WAW-BO3, that may never change. And with the most recent zombies reveal booth where we are pretty much not even allowed to think for ourselves over what’s happening, I don’t find that changing anytime soon

I remember when the story went he tried to stop richtofen in der riese and tried to turn off the power and richtofen cut his hand off and then ran to shi no numa and Peter followed him and killed him and hung him up on the roof and threw a parachute up there to make it look like an accident. That's why there was a hand on the power and that's also why Peter isn't connected to the parachute
So in the end when Eddie and Samantha walk into the light I feel like it’s starting humanity over again sort of placing the two of them as Adam and Eve in a way.

Think of it like this:
WAW, BO1, and BO2 all take place on the same timeline. This is how the timeline is supposed to go.
Origins and BO3 is Richthofen changing the timeline so he can try to make things right but also avoid dying.
BO4: Is the cronorium changing which means that the entire timeline is now going to happen differently and Nikolai makes sure it plays out how it’s supposed too.

Literally the most convoluted plot I've ever heard.
I'm 99% sure they just threw this plot together to fit all of the maps in it. It's a shame because the original storyline through WaW and Bo1 was near perfect.

Agreed but a plot was never the intent of zombies to begin with. The maps came first, then the stories, and by the time they decided to do it the other way around, they'd already fucked up and made the lore too complicated.

sFallen zombies only dropped off because of how god awful black ops 4 was. The player base is still there and if black ops 5 has zombies anything like bo3 then we will be back on easy street
I don’t think there is much point for a zombies only game. An expansion pack would work but a whole game wouldn’t work imo.

I’m hoping they do something different with the new zombies, like instead of throwing you into a map and everything just comes at you and your not just shooting every ten seconds, you can stumble upon zombies, depending on which route you take, door you open, etc. experiment with stuff like that but also have og zombies as a mode that players can play too
They won't do that because too many Muppets pay £70 for a new reskin with a different number on the end and then £20 for zombie dlc's . Why would they give up their cash cow?
I'll do it even quicker. So basically some Squid people are Gods and half of them get Squid aids and hate the normals squids people. The normal Squid people send bad Squid people to the Twilight Zone, but the bad Squid people send rocks that have space aids on it to earth that turn people into zombies. Then 4 dudes kill zombies Then a German dude does some weird stuff and becomes zombies Gods, he also nukes the earth. Then there's time travel stuff and 4 other people get a key and take the original 4 people's souls. But the key also had the leader of the Bad squids dudes soul in it. They go to the good Squid dudes house and accidently release the bad Squid dudes soul and he destroys the universe and stuff. So the 4 heros do some stuff with the key and fix the world. But the good Squid guy betrays them and sends them in a time loop. Fast forward they go to prison and the German guy dies but fr this time. Then there's these 4 people who survived earth being nuked and they get this lamp looking thing that has a cool crystal in it and give it to the 4 heros. Also the 4 heros met up with their past selves I think. But the Russian dude poisons them and destroys the key so the universe ends and he dies. But these 2 kids live and stuff. The End

I kinda understand it now. WaW, bo1, and bo2 is all tied together as the “main story” while bo3 is a completely different story that consists of creating fractures and paradoxes from the “main story” and creating the perfect world. Bo4 however shows more story from bo3 and an alternate ending of Revelations, with Great War Richthofen going to Alcatraz to help break the cycle instead of dying out and resetting the cycle. Without knowing the story completely, black ops 4 zombies seems to be a “flop” but when you put the pieces together, it’s basically the continuation of bo3 zombies and how it should have really ended with Nikolai completing his grand scheme.
While you are technically correct it isnt really an alternate ending, it's an ending to the cycle created by the events of bo3. Bo4 is about breaking that cycle and ultimately erasing the multiverse and reality as they know it because after ending the multiverse the only thing holding reality together was them, as they were a paradox. Killing themselves erased that paradox and banished the being of creation back to the dark aether causing this reality to disappear and thus we can only hope that light they were walking to is a new world. So not an alternate ending at all. It's a continuation of the time paradoxs and the ending on the multiverse and reality.

Yeah, basically the shadow man that was banished to the dark aether started to manipulate events. When 4 prisoners were executed they respawned in a pocket dimension with a time loop. Put it simply. Hell. Back on earth, after the prisoners were executed, shadowman also manipulated the warden to kill himself also respawning in hell. Later in the story, good guy richtofen uses this hell to do his shenanigans, since its a dimension Dr. Monty cant oversee.

Theres a difference between having a good and fleshed out lore and being a convoluted mess of forced details. You can watch every Star Wars movie and understand what's going on and enjoy them, then read books or go online and notice that the movies barely scraped the surface of the lore, and everything will continue to make sense. Zombies started off simple, then added small interesting easter eggs, then turned those easter eggs into the entire plot and force so many details into every round of a game that you can't have any idea what any of it means unless you look it up online, and even then it's still pretty iffy
That's because it is hard to grasp, if this was made into a bunch of movies, you would understand, but I see what you mean
I feel like it's so hard to follow because a story was never the intent of zombies to begin with. It started as an easter egg from WaW's campaign that grew vastly popular, and so they decided to make more on future CoD games and tie some lore into it. It's not a game like, for example, The Last Of Us, where the story IS the game. The maps came first, then the lore, and even when the lore started popping up in BO1, it was barely fleshed out, it was just "experiment gone wrong, zombie outbreak, four people trying to kill the zombies."
Its clear Treyarch focused on making the zombies maps first, then tried to force a story around them.

@@anthonypearson9396 exactly, because the only one he couldn't watch or comprehend was nikolai, he was also the perfect one to end the war once and for all by killing all of ultimas and primis after their connection via the shard was destroyed. and even though the cycle was broken they were under the impression by nikolai that they were heading to the great war, which would start the loop over again, as such monty had no reason to stop them.
