While that is a common thought, there probabbly was a logical reason. If you remember, when AW came out people were very mad that there was no zombies mode, this prompted the studio to make one. Exo zombies was most likley not planned before launch. Inbetween launch and DLC 1 they had to come up with a story, characters, actors, the code, the easter egg, and the map itself. That takes a lot of time. This is the most logical reasoning as to why they did what they did and why Outbreak was so small and basic. While nothing i said can be 100% confirmed, this is a very logical argument that not many people think about.
It was because they added exo zombies later in time that’s why there is only 4 maps because they were not planning on releasing an alternate mode until the fans wanted zombies and thus how this became

Oz didn’t cause the outbreak, it’s fully known that the outbreak was caused by Atlas dropping the bombs which turned any non-Atlas members caught into the blast radius into zombies. Which you see in the ending to Exo Survival on the prison map when the bombs drop and you have to escape from all the freshly turned zombies. Oz was actually infected but if I remember correctly he didn’t have any memory of being infected from Atlas experimentation, and only regained his memory after Linux (however you spell his name) killed Oz in the Burgertown map and caused him to turn into a self aware zombie for the remainder of the storyline.
It was good but the guy who died from that zombie who grabbed him on the chopper, wasnt he from the campaign? So exo zombies and campaign tie together?

Exo Zombies was the best zombies mode. I’ve played every single COD game with zombies, (WAW, IW, BO1,2,3,4 AW, WW2) but I’ve never had as much fun playing any of those games as I’ve had with Advanced Warfare zombies. Why can stuhhlinger and Richtofen communicate in blood of the dead? If stuhhlinger and the rest of the transit crew is in cryostate how can he communicate with richtofen?
If you played bo2 tranzit you would know that Ultimis Richtofen is linked to Stuhlinger brain through the aether cuz Stu ate some zombie flesh and started hearing voices.. furthermore these voices turns out to be Richtofen’s voice commanding Stu to build Global polarization poles to help fix the broken link between Richtofen and the aether caused by the missiles launched from the moon that striked planet Earth... furthermore Primis Richtofen or more preferably Origins Richtofen discovers this link when he releases the aether in botd reinitiating the link between existing Richtofen consciousness and current Stu consciousness since ultimis Richtofen was perished in the events of The Giant map.. henceforth they communicate

Its amazing how once the experiments that Atlas was holding went wrong they just decide to make it a test and leave the characters to be eaten or infected.

Both AW and WW2 zombies had more potential. The zombie design and gore of WW2 zombies is what wanted me to play it. And AW for its movement and link to the Campaign
I remember doing the survival and getting to round 10? I think it was and then the zombies would come. AW was the first cod game i played and i had heard about zombies but never played it. But anyways, i used to play the survival on the prison map with my friend and we would play it alot. When we finally got to round 10, and the zombies came out, i loved it. that was the thing that got me into zombies. I bought a bunch of other cod games just for the zombies. In treyarch mostly, the zombies are more fun than multiplayer IMO. What was your guys’ first zombies experience?
If you didn’t know there’s an actual Easter egg that will let you escape the outbreak map, when you get the keycards to call in the warbird (that gets destroyed) if only melee kill the zombies when you get the keycards then you actually escape

Yeah I really liked how the zombies timeline was a sequel to the timeline of the campaign and how for the most part was grounded to semi-realism without any magic or mystic silliness. I really liked it.
I find exo zombies a bit better than current zombies because they took a more realistic approach like instead of magical artifacts and the aether what caused exo zombies to happen was a biological weapon gone wrong
i know im super late but i think that when the group of zombies try to go for lillith im pretty sure thats oz trying to save lillith and the rest of the others. thats just a theory of mine because lennox says “hes the source of the infection” so that must mean he controls the zombies.

Lol i just borrowed them from friends and cousins for like a week then gave em back
I had headphones in and when Oz woke up as a zombie, I jumped 😂😂😂😂
Basically a alternate universe where Gideon did not join sentinel and the project MANTICORE got released
A new advanced warfare game would be awesome
6:14 "oh my god, you killed kenny"
out of slege hammers cods to play i would pick aw because it's pretty fun
Both AW and WW2 zombies had more potential. The zombie design and gore of WW2 zombies is what wanted me to play it. And AW for its movement and link to the Campaign
11:58 Are you telling me that if Atlas managed to launch the Manticore in the campaign, there would've been a Campaign-Canonical Zombie Outbreak?
I remember doing the survival and getting to round 10? I think it was and then the zombies would come. AW was the first cod game i played and i had heard about zombies but never played it. But anyways, i used to play the survival on the prison map with my friend and we would play it alot. When we finally got to round 10, and the zombies came out, i loved it. that was the thing that got me into zombies. I bought a bunch of other cod games just for the zombies. In treyarch mostly, the zombies are more fun than multiplayer IMO. What was your guys’ first zombies experience?
On the last map wave ten is the zombie round
I wish we had more cutscenes for exotic zombies, that stuff was rlly cool
So crazy how I miss games like this now considering we've had even worse cods then advanced warfare.
If you didn’t know there’s an actual Easter egg that will let you escape the outbreak map, when you get the keycards to call in the warbird (that gets destroyed) if only melee kill the zombies when you get the keycards then you actually escape
3:11 so ahh who thought hell yes at this scene?
4:26 I see the janitor did a uno reverse card, biting the zombie like that
just like mob of the dead almost, but with oz. R.I.P oz or alot of clones of oz
Nothing like mob if the dead lol
Atlas is just CoD's Umbrella Corp.
and the BO zombies is just the Metroid lore but the term "Zombies" is emphasized
Do extinction pls
Honestly the best zombies I’ve played since like bo2 ts is amazing this is probably the last game we’re they cared about the game and not all of it’s about cosmetics they didint even have zombie cosmetics it was just for fun I need them to do another one of these if they don’t there fucked
Yeah I really liked how the zombies timeline was a sequel to the timeline of the campaign and how for the most part was grounded to semi-realism without any magic or mystic silliness. I really liked it.
Im gonna be honest, when that zombie jumped in the helicopter I peed a lil
Haha same
I find exo zombies a bit better than current zombies because they took a more realistic approach like instead of magical artifacts and the aether what caused exo zombies to happen was a biological weapon gone wrong
6:43 that shot without looking though😂it makes it all look so easy and fun🎯
i know im super late but i think that when the group of zombies try to go for lillith im pretty sure thats oz trying to save lillith and the rest of the others. thats just a theory of mine because lennox says “hes the source of the infection” so that must mean he controls the zombies.
EXO zombies on not going to continue because the game was made in 2014 and also it's 2019 I'm pretty sure that they are not going to continue so we are just saying out on a cliffhanger
They need to end this cliffhanger soon
@@flamingcat1101 they never will because it's an old game and I forgot about the game because nobody talks about it
@@gacha_maker137 yeah I know it's disappointing
@@flamingcat1101 yeah it is
Because one of their own cast members was dead
This game was so slept on
Do spaceland zombies storyline
1:13 idk why but I can’t stop replaying that scene
1:53 who else jumped😂
