@@louddude You could be a Xiaomi sympathizer without a name! But that does not stop me from responding. First, the buck stops with Xiaomi even if it is the problem with their local distributor. Second, a brand new product which does not work even for one day is a question mark on Xiaomi's quality control. Now for something which I did not know when I posted my comment. I understand that local technicians are not trained on Mop 2 variant, and hence the piece needs to be sent to Xiaomi in case of any complaint. That was the reason my piece was not opened by the technician in the first place. My piece was indeed replaced after I posted my comment and it is working fine ever since. But, I am worried. If something goes wrong, the same exercise of sending the piece to Xiaomi and getting it repaired in their factory, or replaced with a new one, will have to be repeated. I had taken extended warranty for one year for peace of mind, but time will alone tell whether my peace will remain intact or not!!
I bought one of these for myself and one for my mother. I have not used the mop feature, only use it for dry vacuuming. The cleaner works well, better than the first generation model, which I still have in another part of my house. Pro Mop 2 can take a lot more dust and cleans deeper than the original model. However I have found one problem, both of the new cleaners (Pro mop 2) can not re-align with the charger correctly and have to be manually pushed on to the charger when cleaning is finished. It happens every time I use it. This is annoying and has never happened with the original model I have. This is the only bad point about it. I am waiting for a fix for this. Mine and my mothers units both do it, so it's not a one off.
Thank you for the feedback, but ive been using the mop 2 ever since i reviewed it and never needed to push it to the charging point, it has always aligned on its own, i suggest u change the position of the charging dock and see if that helps. Thanks for sharing

Nice video man. This will likely be a noob question, but I don't get how to use the return to base feature for 2-floor homes. Should I move the base whenever I want to clean the upper floor and can the app deal with more than one floor?
It can deal with more than 1 floor you just gotta set up digital wall at the stairs wich will prevent vacuum from falling down the stairs. If you want it to clean 2nd floor you need to create second map and when its done with 1st floor you need to place it manually on 2nd floor and start it again. It maybe isn't practical but it should work
This is cool. Mcturing S9 pro has two side brushes, but this one seem to have only one. Will it make any difference in cleaning? but S9 pro doesn't have only mop mode though. so I'm confused between the two.
Mi Vaccum Mop pro is better. One side brush works fine because it gets aligned towards the wall. and for the rest area, the main brush cleans it. So 2 side brushes won't make any difference.

Did u say we can put floor cleaner liquid or soap in it? It's a bit confusing as many are saying we need to use only water. It's difficult to mop indian homes without any disinfectant liquid. If that's the case then mopping feature is of no use. Please clarify.

In use since February 2024. After 5 months water tank stopped releasing water and service engineer said replacement of water tank is chargeable. No damage to the water tank is visible from the outside. The water tank is not under warranty. Cost is almost 3000/-. Becarefull before buying such product.

Great review My robovac uses only 25% of recharge to clean my complete house. Is it necessary to recharge to 100% as I can still use it 3 times more without further recharging. I read somewhere that for a better battery life, it's good to use it fully before further recharging. Please advise

I bought one of these for myself and one for my mother. I have not used the mop feature, only use it for dry vacuuming. Try to reset it. And also updating home app might work.

In case of Multi floor you have to bring charger also else it won't work. Robot starts cleaning form charger only(if you use mapping).

Sadly no. It will map the area first and then vacuum and mop. However u can connect it to ur phone's hotspot and start using it anywhere.

No, it remembers the map. You don't need wifi Or internet connectivity unless you wanna control with the app
