The only annoying thing about this mixer is the fader memory, there's no way to turn it off. So...every time you need to adjust a fader you have to raise it passed the memory point before it activates. You can't just pull a fader down while live mixing, you have to push past where it's at then, it will activate the fader. Good feature but I wanted the ability to turn it off!
Thank you so much for your tutorials! Zoom should be paying you! You have made it so much easier for me to understand how the L 12 works. (I love it!) It's embarrassing to ask for more when you know you've already received so much! But..... I would be so grateful if you could give some tips on sound checking. I've been trying to get into using a stereo ambient mic (Zoom H2) at front stage into 11/12 hoping to use the A headphones. I'm sure that a lot of people don't have the luxury I'm having a sound technician at front of stage to do the mixing 🫨 😉 If you could shed a little light on how you approach sound checking. That would be great! You are the man! Wishing you the best from Sweden and have a good and happy New Year!
Daniel, thank you so much for your kind words! I enjoy doing this a lot! I have a lot of experience being in the music industry for many years. I am hoping to share what I have learned hoping to encourage others to make music. Setting up the sound and getting the best sound possible for your audience is tricky and depends a lot on the type of music and the musicians involved. I will be considering doing a video on sound reinforcement and how to set up the main speakers, the monitors and microphone placement to get the best sound possible. Stay tuned hopefully soon!
Hello great Channel, I Need some help o advice my zoom turns on but the screen remains completely black and nothing else works, when I tru tò turno It off It won t even turno off, do you have ani idea as tò what It could possibly be? Thanks in Advance
Wow! Sorry you are having this problem, have you tried unplugging the power supply and waiting a few minutes. Then plug back the power supply and turn the board back on. Try shinning a light on the screen and see if you see anything being displayed, if so the backlight for the screen might have failed. In any event you might need to call Zoom Tech support and see if they can help.
@@sugarcanerush thanks I have tried turning It off and on with the plug but nothing, I will contact zoom and see what they Say, cheers and keep up the good work 😉😎

I have the same mixing board, it’s ok. To name a few things not covered, you can only have a single global effect If you want 96hz i think you can record only the first 8 channels In windows you can only use channel 9/10 for output and 1/2 as send/mics in daws you need asio drivers The outputs are really bad, not suitable for setting monitors for band, only headphones, more as a podcast
Yes, there are limitations to this board, but you have to weigh in the price point. I wish it had motorized faders and to have multiple effects etc, but then you would be looking at a lot more money. For simple needs, it works just fine. Also I use the 1/4 " outputs of mix "A" for monitors and it works for me. Thanks for listening and I appreciate your comments and suggestions! Take care and keep the music going!
