I did install Cakewalk, connected my Zoom L-12 and I can see all the channels in and out as 1-14, as L,R & S, However I can only get sound from channels 1&2?? I currently have 5 selected as a test but only 1&2 have sound going into Cakewalk. What am I missing?

I am curious if prerecorded channels saved on the Zoom SD card can be read and extracted into Cakewalk? Does Cakewalk only record live playing?

I've always wanted some like this, but I don't have the space. Great video though, learned something!

The only annoying thing about this mixer is the fader memory, there's no way to turn it off. So...every time you need to adjust a fader you have to raise it passed the memory point before it activates. You can't just pull a fader down while live mixing, you have to push past where it's at then, it will activate the fader. Good feature but I wanted the ability to turn it off!

Hi. Thanks for the video. Not sure if you can help... I recently hooked up my L12 to computer. Downloaded driver and attempted to use the L12 as my audio for livestreaming. Specifically, I was using for Google Meets panel. The problem is I'm only getting sound from lines 1 and 2. And its just the raw signal. The knobs and lever have no affect. 3-12 have no sound. How do I get the full stereo master mix to be used in place my computer's microphone? Hopefully you can help because I cant find the answer anywhere

In the mid frequencies, if I choose one frequency and decrease the db, does it apply to all the frequencies. For example, I added +6db on 800, does the +6db also apply to the 2k frequency? It seems like the light does not change.

I have the same mixing board, it’s ok. To name a few things not covered, you can only have a single global effect If you want 96hz i think you can record only the first 8 channels In windows you can only use channel 9/10 for output and 1/2 as send/mics in daws you need asio drivers The outputs are really bad, not suitable for setting monitors for band, only headphones, more as a podcast

It's embarrassing to ask for more when you know you've already received so much! But..... I would be so grateful if you could give some tips on sound checking. I've been trying to get into using a stereo ambient mic (Zoom H2) at front stage into 11/12 hoping to use the A headphones. I'm sure that a lot of people don't have the luxury I'm having a sound technician at front of stage to do the mixing 🫨 😉 If you could shed a little light on how you approach sound checking. Thank you for your tutorials of the L-12. I've bought it only a few weeks ago and I love it. Your lessons for sure gave me a boost in using it quickly. The only (little) issue I had with your tutorials was the low volume, but here you are with a new series - and crystal clear. Question, I tried to use different effects for different channels but but when I used a different effect for another channel the first channel changed to let’s say from Delay to Reverb. Are we only allowed to choose one effect for all 12 channels?

L12 is the best mixer ive brought and ive had few ,works well with my akai samplers saving the mix then ,refixing it If had midi so you could start record by pressing play it would be a bigger boss If anyone knows how let me know
