Glass and plastic - both are non-biodegradable and both can be recycled. Then why is one better than the other?

Hey the difference why glass is better option is glass is recycled 100% and plastic leaves micro plastic behind while it's been recycled otherwise both leave same carbon footprint but still if glass is handled carefully it can be ecofriendly

And glass is always better than plastic as plastic losses its quality in recycling process and every plastic is not recyclable. There is no problem with glass, there is the problem with ourselves that we don't collect broken glass because of its low selling price.
Exactly, also one very serious point which he doesn't know or atleast didn't mention here is plastic is very much poisonous and one should never use in kitchen etc. for cooking or consuming. If someone eats in plastic dishes regularly, chances of getting cancer and organ failure etc. is very high. Plastic is just a nuisance for our Nature noone should glorify or keep soft corner for it.

Nice ,har wastage ko recycling karna bahut achchha hoga, taki hamara atmosphere/ environment swachchha avam healthy rahe avam hamari arth vyarth aswachchhata mae na vyarth ho, arth hamare vikaas mae lage.
Glass bottles and jars can be washed and reused. In the city of Mumbai the ragdiwalla in my area (South Mumbai) will buy unwanted household glass (including broken) for Rs.1 per kilo. So it definitely can get recycled. Some of us give away all recyclables for free in the hope that the ragpicker will earn something.
Please make a video requesting people to dispose their unwanted glass separately, just as they would dispose plastic and paper. It's only awareness and civic responsibility that will make a difference.

1) better storage for pickles and other vegis.
2) plastic degrade and spoil the matter inside.

The way of upcycling glass bottle is it can be converted into ecobriks by filling material into the glass bottle and by these bottle can be used in construction of cob house and also can be used in making out furniture's with the help of clay mud as a binding agent.
