Produced by Kevin Oeste and V8TV Productions, Inc. - Now that the Camaro was covered in BASF Epoxy Primer, It was time to make the car a roller and put the body panels back on. We start by installing the sub frame and making sure it is square. Once the car can roll, we started putting on doors, fenders, hood, etc. With a little persuasion, the gaps were all lined up and the car is ready for body work.

Interesting use of the body solder on the decklid to quarter gap, to fill in underneath the welding rod. thanks for the update on the car!
These guys are at the pinnacle of automotive craftsmanship! Keep it up!
WOW - nice quality work guys - I love the attention to detail and care you put into a customers car. I am very jealous of the owner who ends up with this piece of art!!

My question is the OEM spot weld dimples on the bulkhead or firewall term everyone uses. Are these dimples left as is, or filled in? It is so sad as such a good video / information / technique generates questions from viewers as seen in the postings down the list...go unanswered. Why? Shoot, upload and disappear? Good video as I said, but dude or dudett, answer the dam questions.
Hey there, we try to respond to as many questions as we can. The factory left the spot weld dimples as-is, many like that look. Others like to fill them in, but we don't like to use filler for that purpose.
Thanks for the reply. It is the owners choice for filling in obvious spot weld dimples or leaving them, like OEM witness marks. I agree not to use filler for that purpose, as metal is best. I apologize for the comment regarding unanswered posts. I am a retired ASE Master Tech who fixed vehicles, but did not paint or body work, but spent time with co-workers in the body shop. Learned the craft based upon their knowledge and others, like your video series. Well done. I was in shops when the flat rate was $6 an hour. So many moons ago. Blessings to all talented craftsman!
where is the t-bird you started?
Did you know that the first Firebird was a Camaro?
