I’ve had those same braces. The first two made the bottom of my foot burn constantly. The articulated ankle AFO clicks loudly with each step. It is ridiculous that no one at Hanger Clinic recognized this as an issue. A stranger approached me once to ask if he could look at the brace to see if he could fix the sound! Once after a 2 mile walk I had the worst blister on my heel that I have ever had so I had to stop using it until the blister healed then I just never went back to it. I’ve had five step smart braces. I put them through hell and they get worn out, but I’ll never stop replacing them. Step smart has kept me on my feet and engaged in athletics. I can’t thank you enough.
