Then the Ice Palace opened up near the convention center and we all ice skated. There used to be a club for teens in 1969 called The Teen Beat club, no alcohol just dancing and hanging out with friends… I only have great memories.. Saw some amazing shows there, The Supremes, Elvis, Sinatra, a happy time for me in spite of all this that was going on!!
