I need to ninja walk like you! Reason your videos inspire me is because you're one of the few raw film makers on youtube who tell a story through camera movement and shooting techniques rather than relying on post to add in trendy and flashy transitions/zooms. These types of tutorials helps us build foundation, keep it up!

The 2:42 mark spoke to me the most my friend. Have been increasingly frustrated with using a new benro monopod I purchased and constructing proper shots with it. Thanks for this video as well as information you provide on your channel.

I purchased the zhiyun crane and love it. After a weekend away practising my confidence using the gimbal was heaps better. I now use it for almost every shoot I do. I still use the sony a6000 and minimal lenses. If its one thing you've inspired me to do, is focus on the creativity of your shots, not relying on the gear. Thanks heaps legend, you're a bloody good person.

Hey Brandon , I am a 30 year professional and always learning things, it is a never ending process and glad to see there are people like yourself that really are interested in helping people. Usually in our business, at least from my experience, most photographers or videographers do not share any of their "secrets". Good job I have also used many gimbals and have to say the Crane is the best crane on the market for the price. No hassles at all and the calibration is really easy. Anybody that can afford one should have one. Gimbals make a real difference and take your videos to another level. I think a drone also takes things to another level and is a must. My only problem with it is when I use the 18-105 F4 OSS, is that it bumps against the bottom motor when turning the crane to extreme angles, but that is bc the lens is too long I imagine. Thanks for your video. Also, I read somewhere that you could plug in a micro USB to the crane and attach that to a Sony camera, a6500 to control the zoom on the 18-105 F4 OSS lens, which I thought would be awesome, but it does not seem to work. Apparently, you could use the brass button on the crane to zoom in and out with the lens. Does anybody know what that brass button is for on the crane speaking of? This would be an awesome feature if it worked. My problem might be that I could not find the right cable, micro to micro USB (That crane sells on amazon) so I tried a female to male adaptor and it does not do anything. Does anybody know where I can find a micro usb to micro usb cable?

I have the crane, i have the 18-105 Lense and I have that cable. And it works perfect.

Thanks, I just got it but looking for a different one that does not block the hdmi cble so I can use a monitor and zoom the lens. Too bad the bad design makes it impossible to use both ports at the same time. I just got the small hd focus and it is a must for the Crane, you can see pictures of it @studioekworx on ig
