Two absolutely perfect albums from this band that have absolutely stood the test of time. For those who haven't already, you must listen to their debut 'Bellybutton' from which this track comes and the possibly even better follow up 'Spilt Milk'. Stone cold (massively underrated) classics.

I think of Jellyfish as what the Beatles might have sounded like had they kept recording - an ambrosia of influences frosted with leads who could WRITE and SING and PLAY and were studio savvy! I fell head over heels the first heard them, and had the good fortune to hear them live three times before they flamed out. NEVER heard a band who could SING live as gorgeously as in a multi-tracked, eq'd and compressed soundscape. I miss them to this day...

We were just coming home on a Virgin Atlantic flight and bless Richard Branson,he had this album in the music selection with some lovely comments. It brought back a time when things were somehow simpler.
Jellyfish were truly creative, classy fellows. I hope they ended up have a blessed and happy life. I hope they surprise us and put something new out .

This song is AbsoFkinLutely one of ny faves! Definitely influenced my writing of underlying harmonies and syllable harnonies, rather than full word harmonies. I picked this CD up right after discovering Faith No More. Another Epic album with rich vocals and harmonies.
I have to pick up Jellyfish #2 album...for sure!
My band N2 is planning a revival of this tune. Cant wait ro see how we incorporate the harmonies and guitar lines while making it a grip heavier...like N2 does!

@Boozie65 ...I agree. Jellyfish was one of those bands Todd Rungren was referring to when he said: "The problem with being on the cutting edge is that some are so out front they take arrows in the back" Jellyfish are the Beatles undiscovered.

You sound just like me. I've always figured them for the most underrated band ever. And I find it horribly depressing that its possible to make music this amazing and still go largely unnoticed. I was lucky enough to see them once when I was a kid, and to have songs like that and THEN play drums and sing while standing up? Good lord. I hate to admit it, but I think a lot of people just passed on the hippy image and missed the music.
