@@Stan13bois no you keep breathing, if you find it hard to keep breathing due to your stomach changing size again, you can lay down on a mat while doing it and not breath and do smaller intervals and more repetitions, it's what my yoga teacher told my mom at the beginning and my mom dropped 13 kg in 5 months

Y'ALL IT WORKED. I did this for a week and lost an inch off my waist! I'm bloating due to my period and I'm taking a break but next week I will re-measure to see if it's still the same. Thank you for this video! Got the perfect hourglass proportions now!

@@crocherieqa oh my, good to know. I always have crazy cramps during my period, so i did not even try.
I did this for exactly 1 week and went from 67.5cm to 65cm. Ate as normal, didn't do any other workouts. I did the exercise 2-3 "rounds" per day (mostly 3 and on an empty stomach) at 5-7 times for each round rather than for 1 min because 1 min didn't feel enough personally.
It really works, but a tip: if you don't feel the slight strain in your belly, not all the air has been pushed out to the fullest. It does take a couple of tries before you get the hang of it, but you can do it! : ) And many thanks to Zoe for sharing this!!!

In the video of the fitness woman she hold the breath and then released the air but in her own videos it seemed that she held only the breath in - so is it about holding the breath 20 sec while doing that with the stomach or is it about breathing in and while breathing out u do that with the stomach ? I didn‘t get it 😢😮
So it is about holding your breath while u squeeze your stomach in as far as possible ? No it is about breathing out 20 seconds while doing that isn‘t it ?
Some days it seems she Helds the air only in and sometimes it looks like she does it while breathing out

If you feel hungry, drink water and if you stop feeling hungry afterwards it just meant you were craving something but wasnt actually hungry. If you drink water and still feel hungry afterwards, then you need to eat something.

I did this for the last three days and have seen a big difference!! I’m already very active but with a bad diet, I don’t have a big stomach and am skinny (15 yrs, 5’7”, 110lbs) but still had room for improvement, especially in the lower stomach area. After only three days of this, I can finally see my ab line much clearer and just feel thinner in general. I lost half an inch on my waist so far and that was after two days

I used to do this with my trainer! She taught me that this is a great warmup to activate your core before you start working out the abdominal muscles.

I have plenty of belly, I’m trying this! My goal this year is to begin strengthening all my muscles. I’m recovering from 12 years of chronic illness which affected all my muscles and joints. I was bedridden for the first 4-5 years. Steadily, from that point I tried getting out of bed for a little while each day. Now I can spend as much as 8 hours out of bed. Hubby and I just got a gym membership and I’m starting off veeeerrryyyy slowly. I don’t want to end up BACK in bed, lol! I’m so proud of what I’ve accomplished to date. I. Am. A. Warrior! I have literally been through the steps of dying and slowly come back to low grade pain. That is HUGE!! Much love to all and give thanks for your health! I definitely want to try this! I went to the dr complaining of back pain and she said I have a weak core. The fact I can do this standing up and get results in a week us it not taking a lot of time out of each day are all pluses for me!

Just in case you want to know:
If you want the correct stimulus of the muscle groups (in the video), you have to treat it as though you’re trying to hold in your bad gas and bladder at the same time (don’t actually do it, but TREAT it as though you need to). This flexing + the breathing should have the best results and this applies to both genders.
That’s a lot, start easy.
Good luck!!! I believe in you. Trust me keep following your goals and face your fears or you will get no where in life. I ran everyday and ate healthier and lost like 14kg you can do it too I hope you achieve your goals.

I did this for 2 days and I already see a difference. I don’t really have belly fat but I always have a bloated stomach, so it doesn’t look slim. Doing this, my stomach looks flatter and slimmer. I feel like my abs became more visible. I also feel better and healthier. This saved my life!

Gonna do this for one week with no diet change or other exercise to see the honest results following the 3 x 20 and to see if it effects lower belly pudge at all. Also note that I’m breathing throughout the exercise, not holding my breath!
Day 1: ✅ Waist: 73.5 cm Lower belly: 89 cm
Day 2: ✅
Day 3: ✅ I could really feel my muscles able to clench stronger more this day!
Day 4: ✅
Day 5: ✅
Day 6: ✅ today is the first day I can see a noticeable difference in the mirror 😳 I’m excited to measure in tomorrow !!
Day 7: ✅ Waist: 72.5 cm Lower Belly: 88.5
Overall I lost 1 cm off of my waist and .5 cm off of my lower belly. I would say I noticed an internal difference more than a visible difference; each day I could feel my core able to contract with more strength and I feel more solid inside which makes sense since this exercise strengthens muscle not burns fat. :) I think in conjunction with diet change this would be a very simple but powerful exercise to add into your daily routine!

(finished) gonna try and do it for a week !!! i don’t do any specific diet or exercises, just trying to eat healthier, drink more water and run/walk at least 2km
waist before: 64/65cm
day 1: did 5 sets of 20 seconds, not sure if i was doing it right, also walked 2km
day 2: did another 5 sets of 20secs and also ran/walked 2 sets of 1.5km each
day 3: i managed to do 5 sets of 25secs each and i felt like this was more effective for me, i will also run/walk in the evening today since i didn’t have time in the morning
day 4: did 5 sets of 25secs as well as a 3km run/walk
day 5: did 6 sets of 20secs after my 3km walk
day 6: did 6 sets of 20 secs
day 7: i managed to do 6 sets of 25 secs for the last day
waist after: 62.5cm wow!!
overall: looking at my before and after photos i think i see a small difference or it may be just my imagination but the measurements say otherwise and i’m actually very surprised! the exercise is very easy and i will keep doing it every day and if i do see a big change i will let you know 🤍
update: it’s been 2 weeks and my waist is at 60cm 🥳
update: it’s been 5 months, my waist is at 58cm lol

But also because of my many ups and downs in this topic I’ve learnt that starving yourself, exercising a lot etc will not work in a long term. Mindset and holistic approach is the most important thing here. It’s not only the body we need to work on but also our mind. It’s also usually better to measure your progress using cm and progress photos, not kg, as they not necessarily reflect the progress you make and can be upsetting even though your body changes positively! I’d recommend watching Linda sun, she explains it all really well💜

I remember doing the Japanese long breath (essentially a stomach vacuum) 6 times on every leg for a week (3 times in the morning, and 3 times in the evening). I think I lost around 2-3 cm around my waist - it was pretty extreme. I didn't do anything different otherwise. Maybe I should give it a try again. :)

I'm 13 and watching videos like this because of insecurities my bullies in primary gave me. I hope this works so my life can be happy again. I gained so much weight over lockdown and became even more insecure. I have tried 15 different videos on different workouts and diets so far I hope this one works.
Edit: I'm 15 now and I'm nearly 16. Thank you to everyone who's commented you've all been so supportive. I didn't use this video tho for every one who's asked if it's worked I've actually used diffrent workout routines and I'm close to having defined abs. really happy that this slim waist workout is only a minute. I did it for 2 weeks and my mom pointed out that she could see a smaller waist. I am so sore but the results were pretty amazing. My weight goal this year is 170, I currently weigh 184. So it isn't a terrible change but it needs to be done. Thank you for this workout.

My fitness goal for this year is to take my time and enjoy the journey. I’ve spent too much time obsessing over losing weight and hating myself that it has negatively impacted my relationship with exercising. So, this year I want it to be different. Instead of focusing on weight I want to shift my focus toward actually feeling more physically comfortable in my body. I hold a lot of tension in my shoulders and neck which has caused me to develop chronic pain in that area. I know that exercise can help with this issue, so I want to give it a try and use exercise to not only get physically stronger but to feel more comfortable in my body and to become mentally stronger too :)

looks pretty clear to me, though, that her stomach is relaxed at the start of the video, but then tensed (sucked in) at the end when she's measuring. not saying this isn't a useful exercise or anything, but if you're reading this comment, please don't expect your waist to suddenly be 1.5 in smaller after a week.

ok eating healthier is alright, but stopping BORED SNACKING, sorry nUuHuuH. no can do. it is something out of my control
To actually maintain your cravings just portion your snack like one cup of chips or one square of chocolate (don't eat the whole bar😄) anf when eating some side dishes like Rice , Mash Potato just have a cup . But if u actually dont like having a lot of rice eat japanese rice cause its really filling yout stomach for just a couple of spoons and after 15 mins of eating lunch (do sum crunches , squats and a different version of push ups *cus i know there is a fenale style doing it*) then maintain your diet for a week and check the results by taking the size of your waist and parts that were fatty before do not weigh yourself cause if its just the same weight before (its better to take measure than weighing yourself) .... Hope this helps alot 😄😄😄
