Thank you very much for watching.
Did you water the soil or place n keep it dry soil for 2 weeks? Also was it humid or what conditions did you replant to encourage root growth?
My aloe Vera crown got mushy and my whole plant fell apart what should I do and how can I prevent this from happening to others?
Got a thumbs up as soon as I saw all of those amazing plants at 0:01 seconds 😅
Hey can you help me? My aloe Vera is is rotting from the bottom it’s brown and soggy and the leaves don’t stretch anymore and just look dead. Can you help please.
I wish I found this sooner 😭
One of the most straight forward, no nonsense, no useless fluff aloe care videos ever watched. Thanks! You share lots of helpful tips and info I never thought of before! Earned my sub!!
I live Cambodia i like your video and i have to grow Aloe vera the same to you.
Thanks, I miss Cambodia. I want to visit there again.
Amazing! Really like this as it focuses only to Aloe Vera and this is informative and educational. Thanks
Glad it was helpful! Thank you very much.
Hello.... Aloe vera stem Turning yellowish is sign of rotting?
Not always. Can you show me a picture of your plant. You can send it to my Facebook page.
What if the aloe is young and it starts to rot it leafs, can you tell me please🙏?
I do the same and it is easier to handle young and small aloe vera.
@@TheAloeVeraGarden Thank you l took the rooted leavs and plant it in new fresh soil cuz l neaded to break it.
I am binge watching your videos. Thank you for teaching me about aloe. I wasn’t aware that the aloe need to be outside. I would like to know the best pot for them for being outside and also, what is that tool you are using to cut your plant? Can this aloe be used for medicine?
Wonderful! You can use whatever available pot you have. Aloe Vera is picky with pots and soil. Just give them enough sunlight. Many people use them for medicinal purposes. I use them for juicing and I drink them almost everyday. I also make soaps, lotions and creams using Aloe Vera. The plant has so many uses.
Does anyone know if it’s possible to grow a store bought aloe vera leaf? The individual leaves they sell at the grocery stores. Thanks.
Nope it can't
Video on here shows it can't
I'm so thankful for your channel! I have a 20 year old aloe and I absolutely love it, as I love all its pups. I've had some difficulties with them, because of the harsh Mediterranean winter, and your videos have proven really helpful! Thank you so much!
Thank you very much for you very encouraging comment. It really means a lot to me.
Can I still use the gel from the aloe leaf with root rot? I dont wanna throw it away. A helpful comment is appreciated thank you😊
The leaves are rotting but still they are very thick how are you taking care of your plant
My plant is small but it is not growing
Please give any suggestion 😭😭
Usually, the leaves will just get thin if it is root rot, leaf rot doesn't make the leaves thin.
@@TheAloeVeraGarden oh thank you so much 😀
❤thanks
good day! what if it has a minimal rot, like i just cut the leaves that had been affected. was it necessary to cut the roots?
For bigger Aloe Vera like this, if the leaves are starting to rot, most often the roots are infected already. Minimal leaf rot rarely happens to bigger Aloe Vera. If the rotting is not caused by fungus, cutting the rotten leaves will work just fine. :) Thank you very much for watching.
the problem might be the roots. all of my aloe that were displayed inside the house were the ones that have been affected and all were average size. unlike yours mine had a dot watery spot all over the plant like a polka dots and i didn't over watered it, in fact the problem started when i begun to put it outside to be exposed by the sun. all of the aloes that I'd put outside and frequently wet by the rain was not affected and green and healthy unlike the aloes i put inside. was it the exposure of the sun is reason?
Aloe Vera are supposed to be outdoor, not indoor. If they are placed indoor for a long time, they will develop weak leaves and get burn easily if your pace them outdoor. They will need time to recover. I am posting a video about this in the next few days.
Thank you very much for imparting your knowledge of caring aloe vera ♥️ it really helps me to understand the plant more. An Aloe Vera Lover here 😍👌
Hey idk if youre still replying to this videos comments. But i was wondering what soil should i buy to replant? Im trying to save my plant but im not sure what soil to replant it on. Last one i had was too dense and caused mines to start rotting. Thanks!
Succulent and cactus soil , add perlite and pumice to it
Come on with these videos and people putting words up and captions you know you got people that are dyslexic that have ADHD that want to watch videos and not have to read and pause every time
I have had the worse luck with plants in the past... Everything I've tried to grow has died on me... My family says I have a " bad hand " which made me very afraid to even try gardening again. It's been over 10 years since I last attempted any such activities BUT man I feel so very passionate about Aloe Vera, I use the gel itself in my natural hair as a prepoo ( the step I do before I shampoo) and I also scoop out the gel...blend it, and mix it with glycerin, coconut oil, lavender oil and use it as a leave in conditioner on my natural hair... Man the scalp loves it... it instantly reliefs my itchy scalp... and detangles and adds shine to my natural hair. A good friend of mine got me a potted plant and I have no idea how to properly care for it... I've been looking everywhere for a channel that explains everything as well as you do. For the first time in forever I am looking forward to planting again and leaning as much as I can. I will be binge watching your videos. I hope I have better luck this time around.
I live in Texas. I’ve never had to cover my plants before but this cold front/snow was the worst ever. I mean it’s snowed before here but it was really cold. All my plants are down . It’s getting a little warmer. Can any of my plants be saved .
My aloe vera started getting yelow, brown tips, i looked at the bottom of the leaves and theres dark black spots, what should i do?
Most often, the black spots are present because the leaves were touching the soil, it's normal.
@@TheAloeVeraGarden it runs out my roots have all rotted off, I’ve fitted the bottom of the stem off and drying the wound
You are like a plant surgeon with that blade lol
where might I find one of those?
😅😅 They can be found in kitchen stores.
Hey can you please tell where should I keep the aloe Vera for 5 days for drying before replanting?? Please reply
If you want to keep the leaves green then you have to place it indoor. If you place it outdoor, the leaves may shrink fast and the tip of the leaves may turn brown, but the plant will be ok. :)
Salamat po sa sharing
Hi sir, would you please send me a large Aloe vera plant without soil only just aloe vera plant sir please and I'm just from Pakistan
I wish I could send you Aloe vera, but we are not allowed to send Aloe vera outside the country.
My daughter cut up aloe to use gel.i was wondering can the side edges spike be planted also the bottom part that people say is poison. Thank you for any information

So are you saying that my aloe plant whose leaves are all drooping and turning yellow is too far gone to save?
No, dropping aloe vera leaves doesn't mean they're rotting. They just lack sunlight exposure.
😡🤬Fyi: UA-cam is for videos not for reading! You need to talk! If I want to read I look up a blog!
This is an old video where the garden is located beside a steel fabrication, which is very noisy. My new videos have voices already.
The worst part is my parents water it everyday it has to be the worst day for my plant and it is making black spots also I'm planning to put a sign on it saying "Water it Every 2 - 4 Weeks"
Otherwise It will rot and I will end up saving my Var. Barbachensis
PS. Barbachensis is a crossbreed between Barbadensis And Chinensis I will make this variety as soon as I have my Barbadensis. And my weather is always hot its maybe too much water for it to handle
hahaha Barbachensis would be interesting. I would love to see how it will look like. Do you also know that chinensis is a variegated Barbadensis? Barbadensis can't thrive well in other parts of the world that's why they variagated it to make it more resilient and can thrive in other parts of the world. That is also the reason why the chinensis variety is widely available in many places compared with the barbadensis. :)
@@TheAloeVeraGarden I need a Barbadensis for this experiment so I can make this variety
Abt 2 months ago, all of my aloe Vera died from rot. I tried saving them by removing the leaves n all, n cutting the root but none survived exc 1 and 3 pups. And now again, that one affected too... And after 2 months. Why duz this keep happening 😭😭😭
Hi my aloe plant has a yellowish orange goo at the core that smells like fish this lead to the leaves falling of I’m not sure what I should dooo please help
I am really sure of this, but I am afraid your Aloe Vera is rotten to the core like this video:
ua-cam.com/video/r64fLEmY0yU/v-deo.html
There is only one way to check it out if you're brave enough to dissect your Aloe Vera. Watch again this video towards the later part at what I did with the root.
ua-cam.com/video/AgWL-uQdF2w/v-deo.html
I planted the root part after it dried, here's the video:
ua-cam.com/video/I3A4JicVHKE/v-deo.html&t
I hope you can still save your Aloe Vera. Thank you very much for watching.
So far I can see all the leaves are rotting, after seeing one you can see the other ones at a quick glance or just trust you when you cut and quickly set them aside. What I need to see is exactly where you cut them exactly. And when you whittle them down, could fast forward that and show us the next step?
Not sure if you're still actively replying on this video but I have an aloe with soft leaves, not mushy, that get slightly firmer with watering and the soil gets dried and is bone dry by day 7-8 with our humidity. I let it get bone dry,(the soil), what could be causing this? I realize root rot shows these symptoms
Maybe you should look into no sulfates fast hair growth shampoo.
Hi there! I am dealing with an aloe vera plant that was quite big and healthy but the leaves rotted so I cut back all of them. I left the stem in soil and new leaves are growing! They are very healthy and doing great. However, the stem is exposed and Im not sure if I should leave it that way to grow leaves off of there (there are some buds growing out of its sides but not on too) or to cover it in soil? I would appreciate any feedback!
I have the same question 🙋🏻♀️
SPEAK!!!!
Amazing!! Thankyou for sharing your knowlege to us!
My pleasure!
The rain keeps overwatering my aloes :(
Pls tell me how often should water the aloe vera?
You can skip watering your Aloe vera during rainy days. But during summer when the sun gets really hot, you can water your aloe vera everyday.
I heard egg shells may act as a fertiliser. Does it really helps aloe vera plant? Thank you
Eggs shells help all plants, not just Aloe Vera. The soil I used contains egg shells as shown in my latest video: ua-cam.com/video/6vWOFJtinmw/v-deo.html
@@TheAloeVeraGarden thank you for the fast response 😊
You're welcome and thank you very much for your support.
Please make video on black spots on the alovera
Did you still use the leaves you cut off?
No, I don't use them. I throw them in the compost. Most Aloe Vera plant rot because of fungus, so to be safe, I don't use the rotten leaves.
How much leaves should I remove
This might sound stupid but, What did you do with the plant after you cut the rotten leaves? Did you report it?
Yes, there is a part 2 of this video. I planted the it after it dried. Here's the video:
ua-cam.com/video/EV6iiGi6B9A/v-deo.html
and this is what I did with the root part:

Hi! I don’t know if you still reply but I hope you do. I got an aloe vera around a week ago and transferred it (with its existing soil) to a new pot. Every since I did that the next day the lower leaves’ roots seem to not be able to hold the leaves weight compared to the leaves at the top. I fear they might be infected. Any ideas what’s going on?
Can you show me a picture of your plant? You can send it through my Facebook page facebook.com/thealoeveragarden
@@TheAloeVeraGarden thank you do much! I just did
I wish you where talking in the video so I can focus on watching you and not reading.
I have just repoted my aloevera plant but it's leaves r completely dying and rotting plz tell me te solution 😥
Give it more time to recover, be sure it gets enough sunlight.
@@TheAloeVeraGarden How often we should water such plants? Mine are turning brown from leaves tips.
❤️
Need to speak more in video?
Sorry about that, I will do that in the future.
Awesome video! I have a question! Can we grafting the upper aloe with the main root so we have it in one piece again?
No, we can't put together aloe vera, unlike other succulents.
@@TheAloeVeraGarden Thank you so so much!
Do this works on pups?
Yes, and it is easier with pups. :)
All aloe veras die you buy unless you grow them yourself.
