Wow, love these earrings and you did such a great tutorial. I have an older Cricut so cant wait to see if im able to cut faux leather on my machine...Thanks
Your presentation of your project was wonderful you spoke as if we were right there with you. You didn't sound rehearsed. Great project also. Thank you
I am so glad that I started looking at your videos. I been having so much trouble cutting faux leather I just quit. I will be giving your great tips a very good try. I will let you know what happens. I love the contact paper tip. Thank you so much for sharing your GREAT Faux leather tutorials.
Using contact paper to protect your mat and add some tackiness to your material was ingenious. I have so much of that stuff left over in my home and now I can use it for crafting. Thank you.
Beans and Peanuts....YES! Brand spakin' new to this, just got my Explore and waiting on my first order from B&P. Your tutorials are perfect, thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing your technique I love using heat and bond for ER backing. I am very excited to use the contact paper to hold my leather in place!
Hello! Always good to see you! Thank you for the video. Those earrings are cute! But then, yours always are! Hope all is going well for you and yours. Oh, I really like the burnishing cream for the sides. It sure does make a difference! Happy Easter to you and yours. Blessings and Re Jouir
I think I've seen where you use the heat n bond and put the two sheet together before cutting. I'm a bit of a perfectionist too and would probably spend too much time trying to match up pieces. Doing it before would make it thicker but you could just send it through again.
Yes. Most always I do attach the two pieces before sending it through. I either cut multiple passes, use the more pressure option, or even switch to a genuine leather setting depending on the thickness.
Thanks! The rolling tool is my brayer. I love this tool for making earrings because you really need to get the material pressed nicely on the mat. Without it you could use a dough roller. Here's a link to it: amzn.to/2ZJxOHU
I have a question that I was hoping you could answer. I am a photographer and I would really like to make earrings with my photos on them. Would you have any tips on how I would go about doing that? I have not been able to find much information on doing custom designs.
I just found your UA-cam videos. Love your style and explanations. Also, suspect you are a fellow Kansas gal. Where did you get the KState files? Thanks again.
You have to be super careful with cork. I've found that if it's too hot or too long, it damages the cork. On my cricut mini press, I leave it on the lowest setting and leave it on for about 5 seconds.
Thanks Pam. I didn’t do my own nails but am thankful my last manicure is holding out. I am at 4 weeks. I just bought acetone one case I need to take the gel polish off myself.
question do you leave the contact/transfer paper on the earring i cannot tell. I would think not. Unfortunately, the fabric glue is not in stock. I am using the heat in the bond I had an unopened 5 yards package.
beautiful earrings! love the video and thank you so much for the tutorial! On a side note: PLEASE be careful with posting Disney items on Etsy or any other online selling platforms, the company is hitting sellers left and right with infringement and could potentially hit with legal action against you, I have a friend going thru this and is not fun. :(
Hi. Sorry for my delay. Here is where I got my svg file: designbundles.net/earrings/179490-round-earrings-svg-earrings-svg-circle-hoop-earrin/rel=7t43hr
I would only do genuine leather as one sided. I would put on a deep cut blade (instead of the fine tip blade), and I’d use a strong grip mat. I love cutting genuine leather on my Cricut.

Hi Becky. Yes, I love the printed cork too! Having so much fun with it. Hope you love it.
Using contact paper to protect your mat and add some tackiness to your material was ingenious. I have so much of that stuff left over in my home and now I can use it for crafting. Thank you.
The punch used seems like it is easier to see where you are punching than the other punch shown. Cute!
Very clear tutorial and lovely too.
Love this video! You are an excellent teacher!

Yes. Most always I do attach the two pieces before sending it through. I either cut multiple passes, use the more pressure option, or even switch to a genuine leather setting depending on the thickness.
You are an excellent Instructor. Thank you for sharing. What is the rolling tool?
Thanks! The rolling tool is my brayer. I love this tool for making earrings because you really need to get the material pressed nicely on the mat. Without it you could use a dough roller. Here's a link to it: amzn.to/2ZJxOHU
I loved the earrings and can't wait to get busy making them. Where can I purchase the leather. Ty
Just found you and I am brand new at cricut items of any kind! What Etsy shop did you buy the cork from?
I have a question that I was hoping you could answer. I am a photographer and I would really like to make earrings with my photos on them. Would you have any tips on how I would go about doing that? I have not been able to find much information on doing custom designs.
How does the leather brunisher, Eco Flo, differ from rubbing a glue like Fabri Tac around the edges?
I forgot to order from your links so sorry but i will from now on. Where did you get the faux print love it. You are my best friend in my head lol. ty

I just found your UA-cam videos. Love your style and explanations. Also, suspect you are a fellow Kansas gal. Where did you get the KState files? Thanks again.
Love these earrings!
thanks!
Hi, Just found you and loved you tutorial. When using an iron on cork to apply heat and bond, what setting should your iron be on and for how long?
You have to be super careful with cork. I've found that if it's too hot or too long, it damages the cork. On my cricut mini press, I leave it on the lowest setting and leave it on for about 5 seconds.
can u make without a circut machine, they r gorgeous by the way.
the kits you get from amazon have templates with inkpens you can trace, cut and then follow her instructions
If I did not want to waste my faux leather by cutting out a second sheet of it, could I use the heat & bond on matching felt for the backing instead
yes, you could.
Hi, I did not see a link to the cork used. Can you please say where you purchased that? Thank you.
Did you do your own nails? They are beautiful.
Thanks Pam. I didn’t do my own nails but am thankful my last manicure is holding out. I am at 4 weeks. I just bought acetone one case I need to take the gel polish off myself.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
question do you leave the contact/transfer paper on the earring i cannot tell. I would think not. Unfortunately, the fabric glue is not in stock. I am using the heat in the bond I had an unopened 5 yards package.
I take off the contact paper after the cut is complete.
beautiful earrings! love the video and thank you so much for the tutorial!

How do you sell the Disney earrings if it’s copyright
What is the thickness of the cork leather you are using? Thank you.
Mine kind of shows the white behind my faux when i look at the hoop from the side. Is there a way to fix this
No. It will kind of show any backing, especially if it is a thicker one.
can you show earring you create with circles.
Here is a video that shows basic circle earrings that you can make with the cutouts. ua-cam.com/video/ZZZXReNFYPY/v-deo.html
HELP! How do I get these templates downloaded for cricut design space???
Did you mirror the design before cutting? Listened twice but didn't hear
Do you know how to make the earrings with a wood outline?
I haven’t made those. I have that on my list.
Hello! Do you make it double side. Some material are really light weight?
Yes. I normally do then double sided.
I don’t understand what the purpose is for the contact paper? Sorry
Where do you buy your cork?
Hi. I’ve linked to the cork shop here. myinspirationcorner.com/diy-leather-circle-cutout-earrings/
Where do you get your design?
Hi. Sorry for my delay. Here is where I got my svg file: designbundles.net/earrings/179490-round-earrings-svg-earrings-svg-circle-hoop-earrin/rel=7t43hr
How would you cut with genuine leather?
I would only do genuine leather as one sided. I would put on a deep cut blade (instead of the fine tip blade), and I’d use a strong grip mat. I love cutting genuine leather on my Cricut.
Oh, and I would still put contact paper on my mat before putting the genuine leather on it.
I can never punch it right in the middle it's either to the right or left😅😅😅
At least they sell it at your dollar tree at my dollar tree it’s sucks
dang. i hate it when the DT doesn't have items!
Those are genuine cork not faux cork
