🤓Seeing your bible really inspires me to really read and soak up the word! In your bible, you can really visually see how deep you are in it and how much you've reflected on each thing. I cant wait to get started on this journey. 🤩I cant get passed Deuteronomy. I started over because I felt like I was just on autopilot reading and not really taking anything in. Its tough!

I too, really struggle with some of the books. Numbers, Deuteronomy, and Job are hard reads for me (just to name a few). I think it helps me to read other things in between and come back to them. I also love reading commentaries or study notes at the bottom of study bibles. I remind myself that the most important thing is that I’m trying to learn more about who God is and His character… it everything has to relate to me. I think these were big things that helped me read the more difficult books. I hope this helps you too. ✨

I don’t take it outside of my house anymore so now it just sits on my shelf or I’ll use it as a reference..some people have recommended me to rebind it.. we shall see haha

Yeah definitely so many options! I have an interleaved Bible and rarely reach for it because I don’t feel like I have enough creative energy for it a lot of the time (oops 😅) but that’s just me! I think you know yourself best and what would be edifying and helpful for you in this season you’re in! 😊🫶🏼💞

omg you literally make me want to get into knowing god and stay consistent with him. i'm working on getting the jesus bible because i've tried to read the kjv i think it's called but i had no clue what was really being said lol. so i did some digging and found you i really appreciate your content and also that it's like modern like any other youtube video but it's in gods way! which makes it so much more entertaining and understandable. so thank you and keep going god bless you!

Rosemynaa, this is one of the nicest things ever. I appreciate your kind words. I definitely know what you mean because I struggle to read and understand the KJV as well. I grew up reading NIV and it's my favorite version still...I would recommend NIV or NLT...these are both easier versions to read because they were written in more modern English.
I don't take any offense to what you said...it's actually a big compliment! I wanted to make my channel about videos I would typically enjoy watching but to have the focus be on God. The fact that you think so means a lot to me.

Hi Rebecca, how are you? I hope good! I wanted to share a revelation I got a few days ago. I had been wanting to be a healing presence in the world. God showed me I have to let go of ill will and grudges and all the negative mental habits and empty my mind and heart to be filled freely and unblocked in surrender to Spirit. Then I can be a healing presence That God can use. Maybe someone else needs to hear that message too. I love the way jesus puts his messages on my heart. He is faithful and gives peace. Will you be doing your new bible any different in terms of notetaking? I saw a study method where you circle words you see repeating as it means the author is trying to convey something important and draw a square around a word and write the definition of it. etc. It was from a channel called "The WordNerd". She has cool methods on studying the bible.
Thanks so much for this thoughtful question!! I am currently using a different color coding system in my current Bible than what I did in this one.
I generally circle words or phrases (and use arrows) that I define or like to elaborate on. I box the names/titles of God. This has been working well for me but sometimes I’ll flip it the other way around and whatnot..I try not to make it too meticulous because I overwhelm myself and then it becomes a barrier to me to read my Bible.
But basically I like to use arrows to write my notes and I’ll write my prayers in purple ink (vs the normal color which is usually black ink) so I know it’s a prayer and not a more academic or sermon note. I hope this makes sense.
