Sometimes I feel like my love is not good enough to be considered love so that God will do what He promises. Or that my seeking of Him is not meeting His standard of how we should seek Him (all our heart, right?) since I feel I’m not really seeking Him with all my heart (“I can do more but I’m just being unwilling and lazy” kind of feeling) so therefore God won’t reveal Himself, and His way, even though He wants to and desires to, because I’m not seeking Him the way He calls me to. This goes for other things too. I know this way of thinking is not good, but I don’t know how to think. My experience with the bible is so sad and I want to read it so bad; I’m yearning to be taught, corrected, rebuked, and trained in righteousness, like it says in the Bible that Scripture is good for (and I thank God for that since it comes from Him). Yes I want to be rebuked if I’m walking against God because I just want to do God’s will. I just want to live for Him; to be used by Him for whatever He desires. To be honest I’d rather just be His puppet for Him to do all He wants with me and for me to stop deliberately going against Him (knowingly or unknowingly) because I have such a joy that evokes in me (I’m sure it’s because of the Holy Spirit and God’s grace, so thanks to Him, again) whenever I see His work being done; His plan being fulfilled, His glory being received, etc. I hate ut when I sin against Him, but if I do, then why do I still willingfully do it, continuously (I know it is because I am in my flesh, but sometimes I feel like I could have really leaned into God to overcome temptations (and even ask for a renewal in my desires so that temptations are not that appealing, since I don’t desire them), but I chose not to, even though I knew in my heart that going to God would help me overcome that temptation, and maybe even the desire. The reason I do this can vary, but it always seems to come from a place of lack of love (or pride) since I’m thinking, “I want to do this because I want to, I don’t care, at this time right now, if God wants it or not (even though I know I will later, and sometimes I do care at the moment but ut’s almost drowned out by these ways of thinking; sometimes, by the grace and power of God, I overcome them, but sometimes, they overcome me and the Spirit of God’s goodness in me because I chose to go my own way and go against God, grieving His Spirit and God (whom I want to say I love so much, so dearly, I really do (or atleast want to, if I don’t love Him) but my actions, most of the time, do not signify that). I know God cannot be overcome, so His Spirit is not “actually” overcome in me, but rather I just mask Him up. I feel like I’m literally putting a pillow over His face and suffocating God’s Spirit whenevr I go my own way. I feel like a murderer. And I’m thankful because it makes me feel shame for my ways and, hopefully, come back to God in shame and sadness, but come out in joy because of God’s good character and design despite my ways. However, this way of thinking does not help when I let the devil deceive me, and forget the truth, as I then feel guilt and, most of the time, feel to afraid and ashamed to go to God, fearing that I would go to Him only to see nothing, because He had left me for good. I know this is not true, yet I still avoid God when I feel like this, despite feeling in my heart that He is waiting and wanting me to come to Him; He is waiting for me to re-realise that I need Him in all His ways all the time, depend on Him to run this race with endurance, etc., and to come back to Him so He can help me again, lead me again, renew me again (by finishing what He started in me, I think). Life is hard for me right now, and I feel so self-centred to think that it is not for others too, certainly my brothers and sisters in Christ. I want to stop being anything to do with “self”. Selfish, self-centred, self-love (over God), self- praise, self-worship, self-etc.; it all seems to come from a place of pride, like I said, “my way is better than God”, “I deserve this”, “I’m too evil for God to help me”, etc. If anyone actually wants to hear how I’m battling with reading the Bible (since it is not the actual reading that’s the problem, but more of my understanding (yes, I pray before, and I believe God has revealed truths to me, so I believe He can), faith, confusion, and overwhelming number of thoughts and ideas/interpretations etc.; I think, I may be wrong on this being the problem, but that is what comes to mind at the moment), then let me know (if you want to help, or just to understand, or relate, if you care 😅) and I will try to explain, since I didn’t explain earlier on (I just kind of blotted the point in there). Anyways, this really helped me alot. Hoping the best for everyone, thank you for reading this, and hoping God will help us to let Him use us in our lives to bring Glory to Him. (And, of course, to know more of His love that we may also love Him more). Have a blessed day

I got my bachelor's in science by 2020. Then the locked down happened. Since that period to till now i don't know what to do. Cause i was studying for this govt exam and i failed multiple times. I don't where my life is going. This year 2024's God's promise to me is "Behold, I will make everything new" . So my hope is in my lord. Knowing that he will do it for me. But its not easy to stay just not doing anything and not knowing anything.how am i going to earn and all that stuffs. But My Hope is in my LORD❤

Trust me, God wanted me to ask a man how he likes his KIA car. And I assumed I would look stupid. And I watched him drive away in that darn KIA. I really regretted that one. I could talk all day about faith. But, I sought the wrong thing of God. I was seeking to understand His infinite nature before the heart of God. And it drove me crazy. But when I seek His heart, it's equivalently overwhelming, but in an (obviously) emotional variety. He overwhelms me everytime I encounter Him. Now that I'm seeking to serve Him, I pray His burdens don't follow in suit 😂

I'm not sure if you will see this comment but this video has completely changed my outlook on prayer and how I approach prayer as a 13 yr old teen girl and helped me see that I should seek God first and foremost with a heart of love and joy to help me understand how to navigate this journey of life.
