I think Michael Shainblum is one of my favorite photographer in UA-cam. I love watching your videos sir, i wish you are my uncle or brother or cousin 😄 so i can follow you go out taking pictures with you because I love taking pictures but I'm taking picture with my phone. My uncle he's a photographer too but he pass away last year, and I miss him😢
Thank you for what you do for the photography community. Very easy to watch content, calming videos that inspires me to go out and shoot. Love your work!
I love the fact that you still do such a great job of teaching in your videos! So many UA-cam photographers have become travel guides vs photography teachers! Thanks for taking me along!
Thanks so much!
To me the water in the foreground seems to have the perfect shutter speed! And also the glow on the looks so nice. At first I thought that the two rocks in the middle of the frame were too close to the other one (4:20), but the moving water separates them perfectly. Great composition!
A great evening, this video from Michael and another from nick page all within a couple of hours, two of the best photographers on You Tube, life is good
Same here, I always watch their videos.
So beautiful Michael! 👍
I'm so glad you finally got the shot you've been after! Your images are always 😮
I really dig the black and white images, you should take more of these, pleeease!
not sure how this channel is not up around 1million subs. One of the best landscape photographers and vloggers out there.
Your 11th attempt?, not hard to see why you keep going back.
Hopefully visit 12 will have one of those truly epic sunset sky’s we all chase.
Thanks again for sharing Michael, well done.
Thanks John! :)
Bro, I’m new to your channel and find your photos and tutorials amazing 🙌
I Love that beach! Those stairs down are a bit much but its beautiful! Cute little fishing village & a perfect spot for photography!!!! Loved your image! Breath-taking ❤
Thank you. Always a pleasure to watch your photography in action.
Always enjoy a Shainblum sea scape session. Went i went to California (from Ireland) I wish id been more into my photography. Stayed by the beach in Monterrey and made an awesome time lapse of the sunset. I'll never forget that trip.
Excellent video. I really appreciate the reminder of the reality that even pros like you have to work for the good images. Going back again and again until it comes together. Also, it is a good reminder for me that great photos are right here in my own country, and though I long to visit some of the iconic locations, I can be greatly rewarded here at home, and quite satisfied, even if I never am able visit them. Your USA work is proof of that. Thank you, Michael.
Man I love this video Michael! Thank you so much for taking us along for the ride so we can lear your amazing skills!! Jeff Hobson Photography
Great photograph, the abstract photo looks like a part of a bear paw.
Hey thanks so much! :)
Really beautiful shots Michael! Thank you again.
So beautiful!
The sacrifice of color in the sky is more than offset by the warm light on the rocks in the foreground. Love the shot and process. They have to figure out a better filtering capability for the UWA lenses. I like the Canon adapter for the EF lenses to the R cameras, I just wish they would offer a similar approach for the native RF lenses. Much easier to back filter ultrawides versus having a huge dinner plate filter on the front.
Stunning pics, really like your explanations of how you've taken them
Amazing pictures, glad to get the stunning sunset, but dat sand also very beautyfull 👌👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Back to your stunning best for me Michael......excellent.
I love all the different types of photos♥️ Nice work! I suddenly feel a great need to get back to Oregon and explore northern CA. Thanks for the tips as well!
Loved the sand patterns.
Superb shot 👌
another amazing photography
top notch work.
All your videos are a joy to watch. Thank you 🙏
Thank you so much!
Very well explained and done ✅
Best photographer on the planet right here.
Curious what filters are those? I haven’t bought a 12-24 for the reason that filters are hard to use or really expensive.
Cheers!
Thanks so much for the kind words! Those ones are the Haida ones, I have found them pretty good to use to far, just annoying if you have to take them out mid shooting.
Always a pleasure to watch your videos, thank you for sharing.
thanks so much!
Excellent photos
Nailed it!!!!
Thanks Mark!
Congratulations! Nice images, thank you for sharing!
Thank you Brian!
Bravo 👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you :)
You need to make a fitness channel and let us know how you got these guns. 😄
What? On a Wednesday? Dont spoil us like this Michael!
Surprisingly this very is doing way better then my last like 5. Maybe I will throw in more Wednesday uploads :)
Hi. I have the Sigma 14-24mm f2.8 DN Art with Sony A71v. I like taking seascapes. Apart from the back filters do you find it necessary to put on a circular polariser? Thanks
Man I killed my 24mm tilt shift at that spot about 10 years ago haha. It can get angry there ; D
Ouch!
Have you thought of 3d printing a filter holder for square filters to put on that lens?
I actually have filters that can go on the front of this lens, but it's extremely massive and heavy and takes up half of my camera bag.
..not disclosing locations…good for you
Your sand photos are amazing and I enjoy them more than your sunset photos. Don’t get me wrong, those are beautiful as well but the patterns formed on the sand just fascinates me.
Thanks so much! I agree with you. I think as a final result those abstracts really came out nice. The sunset photo was more of a personal sense of pride just given the situation.
I have a weird issue with Luminar Neo. Whenever I adjust a slider, the image becomes temporarily blurry, like it’s rendering or something. It goes back to normal as soon as I release the slider. It’s super annoying. Any fix? It’s not my machine as I’m on a MacBook Pro M2 Max.
I was a bit curious about the main photograph in this video, the one from your nemesis. This is just my opinion but I did not like the water on the left side. What did you think?
I like the water on the left side.
Where is this? Can you please share location?
What's the location?
Hi Michael, your videos are really helpful to me and I will follow you forever! Besides that, I wonder if I can extend a collaboration invitation to you. Maybe you will like it. Looking forward to your reply.
