The “man she’s really ugly” comment was SO GOOD to hear. Newborns are so odd looking when they first come out and it made me feel soooo much better about having the same thought! I’ve never heard anyone else say that about their baby but I swear we all have to think it for the first few minutes. 😂

@@chantalwood5788 girl you think whatever you want about your baby you’ve carried him. They come out looking crazy 😂 I am 38 or 39 weeks (due dates off) and had a 3D ultrasound today, his face was all squished together, I know that’s not what he’s gonna look like in a couple months after birth lol. And this is my miracle baby after a loss. Us mommas can think what we want, they’re gonna be precious after they come out and have been in the world for a minute. But if you’ve already had him I hope your birth went smooth and everything went good ❤️❤️

The man does not DO anything to the woman. When they have intercourse, the man does not ejaculate a developed a Baby. He only ejaculates sperm. She then delivers the baby.
The very important egg, in this whole equation, is fertilized by his sperm. The union of the two causes conception.
She conceives in her womb. The baby grows in her womb . She is then pregnant. The man is never pregnant.
But the husband often acts like a spoiled bsb C when his wife is pregnant and give birth. He tries to get everyone to feel sorry for him. He needs to fall back and let his wife be the woman. You know how you people, shame wives all the time and tell wives to not nag and let him be a man?
Well it goes both ways. ..so now let us tell husbands to let her be the woman....and tell him to stop whining and nagging during her pregnancy and chilfbirth.

We will be sending all of the good vibes for a smooth labor for you and an amazing team to take care of you and your little one. CPAM is a scary diagnosis so we will be praying that she is a strong little fighter!! I actually have a friend who just had a baby boy with CPAM and after a few weeks in the NICU they are home doing great. Will hope your daughter's course is similar. Keep us posted!!

Congratulations on the new baby girl 🥳! I’m a doula and currently expecting my 4🤰🏿! I’ve never had an epidural but I do understand the women who do! I love watching birth stories 😍! It definitely is a learning curve, especially as a first time mom. That’s why I started my channel because I feel like certain topics don’t get talked about enough. Specifically postpartum which in my opinion is way harder than pregnancy. Thanks for sharing ❤️!

Wow. I’ve been watching these videos from you guys for a while now to prepare and I have to say the rawness of showing your delivery put me at so much ease. Like just seeing someone talk about and show us exactly what that moment looked like and felt like made this all seem less scary. I keep saying thank you but I honestly can’t thank you both enough for your channel. It’s just easing so much of my anxiety on my pregnancy journey. ❤

I loved labor and delivery in the early days of my career as an RN. The moment I met you two, the first thing I thought was what beautiful blue eyes you both have! And your daughter is going to be a little blue eyed doll! The last 18 years of my career I was an ob-gyn nurse practitioner and I looked forward to the 6 week post partum visit when ladies I had seen prenatally would bring the baby along. What a joy! I am subscribing to your channel at once.

I agree receiving epidural was life changing! The pain was so exhausting! I did not slept for 2 days, I was on and off to hospital, they cannot admit me because I wasn’t 5-6cm yet. But when I finally, after a long wait, went back to the hospital with 6cm dilation, got my epidural, made me slept, and relaxed, had a nice nap and was energized for the pushing part. I had an amazing labor nurse too!

The little hunger cues she was showing in the side video of her at the time stamp @11:05 on this video was so adorable!! Some babies have the same hunger cues but do it slightly different and I love how it’s a natural, God given occurrence that babies just know how to do, it’s awesome! Babies, our little humans, are awesome!!
EDIT: Breastfeeding is just different for everyone. It does take patience and lots of practice for baby and mother. If you get frustrated the baby will feel that and get frustrated also and vice versa. I was in the hospital for three days when I had my son, no one guided me or helped me with breastfeeding, it was much different 28 years ago then it is now. I was just expected to do it myself so that I did, I at least tried. After the colostrum I didn’t produce any milk and I had no idea my baby wasn’t getting fed. I’m forever grateful for my OB/GYN bc he’s the one that figured it out and told me that I had to put my baby on formula. It is okay when you can’t breastfeed for whatever the reason. I think it needs to be talked about more so that women won’t feel like bad mothers if they can’t breastfeed.

Yes postpartum world is a whole another journey and no one gets it until their body has been through it. Your husband seems like a real blessing! I have four girls 👧🏻 👧🏻 👧🏻 👧🏻 (11.5, 8.5, 5.5 years and a seven day old newborn!) I’m so glad to hear of your sharing this information with other moms and moms to be! Ive breastfed all my babies and I’m still learning things this time around! Also I’m SO HAPPY FOR YOU to have gotten and epidural! I had to birth all my children naturally (no pain meds) while being induced with the dreaded PITOCIN. And man let me tell you, I’m SO GLAD I never have to birth another baby again!!!!!! Talk about pain. I’m so glad there are women out there that don’t have to go through all the pain of having a baby. I’m glad you had a super awesome experience! I delivered all my children vaginally, without meds, and with pitocin & I am telling you I’d not wish that one anyone. But it can be done, just LOTS of pressure and pain past the 6/7cm mark. This time I made it to 6cm without feeling too bad. I asked for one dose of staidol at 6.5cm and that’s all I was allowed, because she was born at 5:06 pm and the saltaidol was given at around 3:50pm
P.S. congratulations 🎉 on your little one! I know she’s almost a year, but I didn’t find this channel until after I became pregnant with my baby girl in late June/early July.

As mothers we all have our own challenges. Breastfeeding has been a piece of cake for me with all three of my babies (18 months each). BUT birth was so hard for me (1 csection, 1 VBAC vacuum, and one non medicated natural. Pregnancy was horrific and got worse each time. 2 of my babies were hospitalized for hemoglobin disease. Postpartum anxiety, depression, and PTSD all on my charts. Never compare yourself to other moms. Your challenges and journey are/is valid. Congrats on the little one. You all are awesome and perfect!

I’m an OB/Gyn/L&D/newborn/NICU RN and work with breastfeeding moms & babies daily. Breastfeeding is easy for nobody, whether pediatrician, doctor, or experienced mother of 5. I attest to this from the many doctors and nurses I have as patients, and those I work with. Some people may work out their problems sooner than others, and some may give up more easily in frustration. My mother breast-fed us until we were nearly in kindergarten. I knew I was going to breastfeed and read every book on the subject, anticipating joy. It was NOT joyful! But it was a learning experience and definitely worth it in the end.

I have pcos, also Endometriosis, immunological issues and blood clotting issues. This pregnancy came really unexpectedly as I started down regulation for 5th Ivf, 10 days later I found out I was pregnant.🥳 just two days before my 40th birthday. It feels still surreal. I am doing an immune monitoring & treatment and taking daily Aspirin and anticoagulant injections…
