Elton is out of this world and Joel has the unique NY groove that shifts the song to a completely unique layer everytime he sings leading and backing vocals. Pure art it is and I love it.

Saw Billy in Fenway Park several years ago. Incredible show! Now my dream is to see Elton after Covid. Wish I could’ve seen them both together though. That would have been epic. Hope they decide to do another joint tour someday before one of them is gone.
I went to see them in San Diego at Jack Murphy Stadium on March 22, 1995. Dueling Pianos. It was fantabulous!!! We had nosebleed seats but we brought binoculars so we were good to go🎹🎼🎙🎤

These are great singers in the contemporary genre, and amazing compared to the 21st century rubbish we get in the pop industry BUT you will never beat a true classically trained singer, musician......and these just don’t come anywhere near. End of story. Classical training is the best by far! However, They are among the best songwriters and entertainers that’s for sure, ( not the best pianists either by a long way - again classical training all the way ! ). They are up there with Queen, Michael Jackson, Elvis etc.

I saw them two times Face to face tour! once in Philly PA 5th row dead center. My brother 2 other of his friends! wildest show ever. I recall that BJ grabbed a female fan kissed her on the mouth & Mark Rivera was up high up in the aisle dancing his ass off holding his sax with a female fan. The other show was same year and write all 32 songs down! Nassua Coliseum! I'm original from Queens so I'm a rocker at heart! My brother who is 3 yrs older than me gay too and married like me was my influence in music. Tina Turner Elton, Billy and so many other artists! I was at Eltons 50 & 51 st show at MSG dancing our asses off on the floor passing joints around that's when you could still smoke anything in MSG😁
Two fantastic singers duetting well together... but I still prefer Roger Daltrey's version on the "Lost Boys" soundtrack. Boy does that ooze emotion and send shivers down your spine.
