The steering wheel is like the wheels and tires you need to be satisfied with them to love your car. Some times the simple mods have the biggest impact.
I have not really payed attention to this car until this past weekend when I went on a toy drive. These are now growing on me and interested now. Your car is the perfect stance IMO and if I were to get one would want your stance. Thanks for the video.

I had a mk7 golf R stage 2 and it was a 3 sec 0-60 car and I got it to 170 in Mexico only stopping cuz tires weren’t rated higher, I had a fallout of life and downgraded to a mustang eco boost, which is fun but not damn anywhere NEAR that golf. But now im steady and getting ready for a nice birthday present and it’s going to be a brand new supra and this video was very nice and motivating seeing your passion for this car. Thank you
With a CES catless dp and Ecutek I'm more than 100whp over stock, and it's really all the car needs for now. If we had E closer to where I lived, I'd be running that as well. Well done vid, man.
it's so true how under appreciated most people are with today's cars and performance and simplicity of it, yes nothing will beat the RAW power that older cars bring, but teens just think almost everything that isn't over 700+ hp is slow until that actually drive it and crash it after one pull.. or their parents bought them everything and provided.
My supra with just stage 1 already gaps most cars on the road lol. I full car gapped a new camaro SS while having traction issues off the line. Im gonna get a downpipe for it soon to bump it up to stage 2. You really don't need much to make these cars fast. They're also ridiculously fun to drive.
So close to pulling the trigger on a 2020 supra. Great informative video. Looking at making 400 whp, Looks like catless Downpipe, Intake and custom tune on 98 Octane will get me there.
For now the car is a lease, didn’t know which way the value was going to go... like you I was not a big fan of this car but since I picked it up new 4 months ago I am very impressed. Starting to build it with what will not void the warrantee first. When the lease is up I want to fully build it
Steering wheel IS underrated, THANK YOU! One wouldn’t think so, but if you think about it it makes sense. It’s what your hands are touching, using to manipulate the vehicle. Nothing between. Anyways, I discovered this when I put an OMP wheel on my frs a few years ago.
The b58 is an amazing engine. Easy power, reliable and a plethora of platforms to choose from. Amazing video my dude speaking the truth. And as an owner of a f30 340xi 6spd it's been my favorite chassis and engine from bmw since my e92 335is with the n54 which is my second favorite bmw engine. Don't know if the supra is the perfect platform as the b58 has many different chassis to choose from. It's still missing an optional manual transmission which is a huge let down for me so if I wanted a similar coupe I'd get a 440i m sport and add bmw performance lsd or get xdrive if needed. I'd love to get a supra and make it a 800whp weekend beast if it had a manual transmission. The used market is best bang for buck on some of these f series b58 trims. And true to your point, good quality custom tunes are 100 percent the best way to go. The car will make more power and be smoother. I rolled on the floor when you mentioned the Hondas. Holla at your boy I had a 1999 boosted Integra gsr. Loved that car but no more fwd for me. Love them classics though.

@@josorzo11 this car is surprisingly reliable tho. The B58 itself was already a pretty reliable engine and the B58TU in this car was specced by Toyota to make sure it doesn't ruin their image of ultra reliable car from what I've heard. I've driven it a couple times, it's a very fun car

I do really like the b58, but it was awfully easy to do the same on the original mkiv supra with the 2jzgte...actually almost any tunable tt v6 can make similar power gains with very few parts and a tune.
I did turn the honda civic lx to 325HP and I paid 6k to turn the car from fwd to awd. Jdm cars are fun but realistically muscle cars are truly made for America

I had a 2018 TA392, it was a sweet car, but now have a 2022 A91-CF and i no longer miss my Dodge lol. You wont look back if you make that trade from a performance aspect.
Any ecu after June 2021 is locked and will brick itself if you try to tune it. You have to remove the ecu from the car and ship it to Europe to get it decrypted and unlocked. Something for folks to keep in mind.
My nephew just bought a new Supra. I was actually surprised how hard it pulled when I drove it. I like the big torque hit you get when you stomp it, the factory tune is nice. He's already taking meth injection, lol.
Just make sure you get one that doesn't have its ECU locked... like mine. Hopefully one day it does get unlocked. I know I can go the JB4 route, but I think I'll just wait. :(
Yup lol I remember when I had my crx in 2006 and I motor swapped it to gain 40 horsepower 😂 turbos were way to expansion in that era being because it was still new technology. B18c swapped crx was fun 😏
That's amazing you can get the HP improvement with just a tune. So why do you think they don't use an improved factory tune on the regular pump gas? Seems like a small win.

I was gonna wait til I’m over 50 since my priority is my family and I was not impressed with the “all BMW hardware” collab. I am now almost 44.Once I’m done paying of our RV and my wifey’s new Corolla Cross Hybrid soon Ima get myself a Supra! before all ice will be replaced with either hybrid or full Electric. This will be a future nostalgia collection next to my 2013 Tundra that upto this day runs like new 🤩.

Toyota warned me about tuning my a91, the tunes are still so raw in them the engines are not holding up and they’re having issues. Kind of sucks to be honest, I’d love an extra 100hp

When I get mine, im just gonna save up and do full bolt ons with a conservative tune to maintain reliability.

Running a CTS turbo, S58 injectors, stage 2 HPFP, downpipe, and CTs intake and at 698 Rear wheel HP o my 2020 6 port.
I've had 3 MKIV's. Super easy to work on, never had any problems besides reg maint. I think I'll be swappin a 2j in my new a90.
