    Keep up the hustle! I work for Sunbelt Rentals and not all branches do this but it is something to keep in mind to maximize your profits. Find out what that locations rental policy is for renting over the weekend. The branch I worked for you could pick the equipment up on Friday afternoon, bring back Monday morning and you would only be charged a 1 day rental. If you could line up a couple similar jobs requiring the same equipment for a weekend you can definitely save a little cash.

    You’re out there getting after it plus you got the guts to post on UA-cam which opens you up for all kinds of bs haha. Nice job just keep in mind that your “profit” is not $900. It’s just 10% on top after you have paid your self for the labor, paid for your machine running hours, the bush hog rental, your truck and trailer and paid for your overhead like insurance etc.. I crunched numbers on what I would’ve charged, and I think I would’ve been at about $1,700-$1,800. I appreciate you taking the time to break it down. Keep going dude.

    • @EntreprenuerDavis
      @EntreprenuerDavis  5 місяців тому

      It all depends on the job honestly but most times when clearing land you usually mulch up any tree and brush that is smaller than about 10 inches in diameter to save you mulching teeth from having to be replaced all the time because the teeth cost a good bit.

    • @EntreprenuerDavis

      The trailer isn’t long enough or maybe not built well enough because when I turn the machine around this the trailer start to sway at high speeds so instead of having a dangerous situation I’d much rather be safe with more tongue weight. Words to the wise if your ever in doubt always put more tongue weight on the trailer to save yourself from a disaster.

    Its not 4 points of contact you need 4 points of securement, and judging off your video you technically only have 2 points of securment.
    With you having the binders connected to the trailer on one end , to the chain that is looped through the machine then back to a binder and then back to the trailer that would only count for 1 point of securement. I say that because if one binder failed then the chain would go slack and then the other binder is doing nothing.
    In order to get 4 points of securement from 2 chains and 4 binders you would need to have a section of chain between the binders with no tension on it. I.E. chain on machine going doing to stake pocket or D ring on trailer then chain layin on trailer bed through another stake pocket or D ring on trailer back to the machine. Then put the binders between the parts going down to trailer from machine and then the other end on the section going across the trailer deck. Do that on both sides and you then legally have 2 points of securement.

    You need a grappling bucket, and pile all that crap. And then use your bucket to grade the whole property to its all level. What’s the purpose of leaving it like that.

    • @EntreprenuerDavis

      Because the customer didn’t pay me to level the entire property… I’m in the business to make money not to give away free work but I thought that was pretty obvious🤷🏾 I guess not and I don’t need a grapple bucket because I got the job done without it
