That's pure GOLD for a guy like me....Owner - Operator set my sights on a forestry mulching - land clearing operation - Pure Gold! I have a Bobcat mini MT100 and my local shop is also pure GOLD- they have been a Bobcat dealer forever (over 30 years I think) this guy is definitely a great spokesman, keeping it real, certain machines do certain things better, but Bobcat seems to be accelerating changes for the better (by Doosan) and the motor with no RE-GEN is a big deal! I own a kubota 97-2 for my construction business. Yes the door rattles some and might not seal as well but I'll still take the accessibility any day of the week over a swinging door.
Im with you man - its a no brainer and i bet Bobcat engineers are working around the clock to create a roll up door system. It would be bad business if they are not! My kubota 75-3 door dont rattle any
I like this Sales dude. Totally objective, and doesn’t run his competitors equipment down. Buddy, I wouldn’t dump the Deere because of one minor inconvenience. In addition, you’re comparing a 74 Horse JD to 105 Horse Bobcat.
I think they're making this issue up, hydraulics are computer control and computer won't let you bog down the engine it will adjust hydraulics to balance the load on the engine
It is very refreshing to see someone that knows exactly what they are talking about and not just slinging out sales words. Thanks for an awesome video Brock.

Bobcats cab is the best, and the operator was in mind when designing the machine. Bobcat is the best. Nice job on getting this guy to explain stuff. We do forestry work and he is 100% spot on accurate on everything he said. I'm in the process of upgrading my bobcat equipment. Thanks for the video.

I love my old Bobcat T590. It is 10 years old and still running strong. If you do change machines, and no matter what brand you go with, I would suggest you get it with the 2-speed ground travel option, track suspension roller system and backup camera (for kids and animals at your place). I do find the door a pain with certain attachments installed but understand why it is like this. My door seals so tight that it is hard to latch unless the window is cracked open a little bit. Yes, the door is adjusted correctly. I do take my door off for most the year (except when it is extremely hot or cold) and have found this solves the problem with getting in and out. The door is very easy to remove, and install, and if the temperature does turn on you while it is off, you can still run the heat or A/C with the door off and not suffer. Good luck with your demo!
the dance climbing off the machine carrying the door sucks, finding a safe place to store the door sucks. I think I need to make a door holder for my truck
@@notsure6182 Great points. I have also struggled with the things you mentioned. The upsides of not having the door installed do come with downsides. Hopefully, there are brilliant people out there, who design these things, that will come up with better solutions......

I've often bought something and regretted it, mainly due to not knowing as much as I should. Only way to learn is experience, or keep an old timer in your pocket. Appreciate you doing this, acknowledging your level of experience. We are all learning, nice to know you tv guys are too!
I have a 2022 T76 wide track for private use. I really like the machine. No dpf or blue government juice to worry about. The only issues I have had was a hose clamp recall on the radiator along with the radio loses communication (requires power cycle to come back - not many times). The only loss of power I have noticed was going up a steep hill while using a hydraulic function, but this was at a quicker ground speed. If I had to buy another one I would get a bobcat T66. Slightly smaller framed machine with the same 74 hp as the T76. The weight on the 66 is slightly less for trailering. The T66 can have counter weights added which can get the lift capacity closer to the T76. Looking to hopefully obtain a E42 or E50 R2 in the near future to complete the collection.
I have a Deere 329e compact track loader and a 320G skid steer. I have no issues with steering. My only complaint on my G model is the hydraulic pump is louder than the E model. I will stick with Deere.

Very helpful. Good to hear the Bobcat guy say that all brands will have issues. Some minor, some major. But I think this is machine, not brand specific. All the major brands have sound machines, but there are lemons that get out from all of them. 3 years ago I was in the market for a skid steer to mulch. At the time Bobcat's biggest machine (870?) did not have built in extra hydraulic cooler, and forestry door was a big upgrade. My salesman said if I was 90% mulching I should look at ASV. I did and bot the 75, and upgraded to a 135 last year. Very happy. But I appreciated that salesmans honesty. 2 weeks later he called me saying I know you wern't looking for a mini Ex, but we had a customer order an E42 6 months ago (this was mid 21 during Covid shortages) and it is coming in next week. He couldn't wait and bot a used machine and want's his deposit back. Would I be interested? Went down, looked at it and bot it. What a great decision. Skid's work faster, but a mini ex is a swiss army knife. So a good salesman got me where i needed to go (not with him), but got a nice sale for his trouble. Lastly, unless you are mulching or breaking pavement, which require extra cooling and as much hydraulic HP as you can get, all major brands have good machines for dirt work, occasional mulching, farm etc. Get the machine with the best local dealer!

Old info on the Kubota. The SVL75-3 seals really well and vents are lower and upper. It also has addressed the multi-function capability with turning and operating the boom and AUX with an Advance Multi-function valve. Btw, I was traveling down I-77 North of Statesville, NC and saw the big Bobcat factory. They had many attachments in the storage lot.
I don’t have an opinion on that door because I’ve only ran it one time. When I record with a dealer, I give him the space to share his thoughts, but that doesn’t make them my thoughts
I just tested a 75-3 and it still went dead trying to turn while lifting the arms. Kabota did a nice job and I was excited about it. Thought I had made up my mind to pull the trigger on purchasing but after actually being in one and then demo’ing the bobcat in the same day I ended up buying Bobcat (t770 loaded for 7k more)
Swing up door all the way. Our old 2009 bobcat tilt function spung a leak and we could not get loader all the way down, and was stuck in the machine until he crawled out the back. It was a huge pain.
I bought a Kubota SVL-97 BECAUSE it has a roll up door ! I live in Vermont, and don't need air conditioning every day, but I do need to hear the guys working around me, and I need to communicate with the guys outside of the machine, something you can barely do with a closed front door and the engine running !
Well, I’m sold. And I’m on the market for a skid steer. It’s great to have someone who knows what they are talking about and not a script reader. Nicely done, I’m seriously considering bobcat after this video
I bought one came from CAT, had my eyes on a Kubota and nothing else. I demoed a Kubota and wasn't really impressed. I demoed the Bobcat, my dad stopped by a couple hours into me demoing the Bobcat T66, I opened the door and said I'm buying this. Comfort and power are hands down was better then CAT, Kubota and Wacker. You won't be disappointed.
@@michaellauritsen5433 key phrase is you had to open the door- a HUGE inconvenience not being able to run the machine with door open. I did a video on this ua-cam.com/video/B60iM495PxI/v-deo.html

I rented a 325g and was convinced I needed a ctl, but only one I could buy was a Bobcat T66. The 325G was a year out and Kubota was 2months out. I'm getting to 1.5yrs and 800hrs on the T66 now, pretty happy so far. Had one warrantee issue with the cab harness going bad. Bobcat replaced the harness no charge and has been great to deal with. Love the speed and the float on the loaded bucket. I can run full speed with the bucket loaded over rough terrain and not spill anything which speeds up jobs a lot. Here's a quick list of everything I've broken or had to repair. Broke my windshield door twice, had the air ride seat get stuck on and popped the bladder, I damaged my leveling sensor with ice and dirt crushing it, broke a plastic part inside my door handle, and melted the belt cover with too much heat being pumped on it while cleaning things in the back. Probably the biggest thing I'd change is the lack or heat down by my feet. When I'm operating in extreme cold, I'll often wear Baffin boots because my feet will get cold in anything else. The cab produces lots of heat for the windshields and the upper portion of the cab but not much for the operators feet.
I have a Case 430 skid steer with the Cummins 4BT engine. I operate a Premier trencher and auger with it. The Case 430 has the low flow hydraulics but I never had any issues as my attachments are geared for that. I never had issues with this machine. Highly recommended! I had a friend who had a paving company and he owned 15 Bobcat skid steers. He told me to stay away from them as Bobcat had too many electrical problems. He told me at any given time, he had only 9 of the 15 machines operational at once. That was a telling statement to me. I'm a Cummins believer as I own 2 Dodge 3500 trucks. Bought the Case and never looked back.
This is some great information. The width and 60/40 sound like good compromises that make it a better machine for most. I like the idea of a machine that is better for most loads, and you can easily add ballast for the edge cases. We had a bobcat when I was a kid and I liked it and its the brand I will probably get myself when I finally get a skid steer.
I’ve been running that T86 all week with a mulcher. It’s a beast and plenty of power and I’m not even using the super flow. Just basic high flow. It has a great cooling system as to the tier 3 870 that would over heat a lot. No complaints so far other than having to clean the air filter abt every 2 hours.
I'm impressed with the machine... whoever put that guy in sales is a genius ! He is what we all hope to encounter when we walk up to get the straight skinny on a machine. pc
Brock your Kioti comment about previously making the Bobcat. Kioti now has their own, and with the kioti name on it. It would be a great comparison between those two companies now that they're more independent of each other. I don't recall if you had a video on the kioti or not 🤷🏻♂️
I rented a tracked Manitou 1350 RT 2023 model year from Home Depot about a week ago. I used it for about 14hrs straight mainly for terracing a farm hillside. It didn’t like turn in its place either. I had to full throttle it and it barely turned acting like it didn’t like it. Other than that the joystick control and foot throttle was great. I own a old wheeled Bobcat that would cause too much compaction and fall off the terraces probably rolling down the hill.
That's quite the radiator they pack into those little units. Thinking about how a guy would clean it, you'd have to get an air hose under it and blow upwards to avoid blowing the mess into the fan and onto the engine.. Ran the Deere in the dry months last year and you would have fine dirt piled on that back lid over an inch thick. not sure how that horizontal rad position would handle it. Thank you both - Bobcat should loan you a unit after the work you've done here!

Yep BOBCAT. Good timing on the video. Locked in on a t62. Nice machines. Dealer has been great to deal with on excavator we have and other rentals plus very close. Thanks. Dave.
I love my Bobcat, but the only thing I don't care for is the door that is hinged open like a car door. I'd rather have a door that slides over the top. If I need to get out, I have to make sure the loader is down past the door. I heard him mention pull over doors and vents, I'm not sure that's enough of a selling point to make the argument the hinged door is better
I’ve been saying for a while I wish I got a machine with a rollup door, but I like to hear other opinions For people who run these machines for a living, the top three sellers are caterpillar, John Deere, and bobcat All three use the swing outdoor and they could easily switch to a overhead. I’ve asked all three why they use the swing they all say it’s better long-term. Is Seals out dust better, it’s quieter, and they don’t want their guys to be able to jump out with the load in the air
I take my door off when the weather is not unbearable. It made the machine that much better and easier to use if you are in and out frequently. I also questioned the issues he mentioned about swing doors, but I have not used a machine with a swing door. I will say the door seal on my Bobcat is very good.
Only complaints I have with my 2021 T66 is the hydraulic QDs on the loader arm are too exposed (have to be careful with grapples) and also the ever-present electrical gremlins. Losing radio communication, camera stops working, etc. But otherwise, its awesome and does everything I need it to do...farm work and construction
I have a Case 1818 Skid Steer to help with projects around the house. I would like to get something a little newer and bigger in the future. I also have a Bobcat E20 Mini Excavator. My local Bobcat dealer has been great in helping with parts for the E20. It was a rental and came from FL. So it had some wear from abuse and heat so I replaced parts that some people may not. I use Fingerlakes Bobcat in Fairport, NY. The gentleman in the video was very thorough in explaining why his product is better than the competition while being respectful at the same time. Maybe I will have a Bobcat Skid Steer some day.
I would highly advise you to wait until the new Deere P series comes out. It will literally burry a G series. They fixed and addressed a lot of current Deere issues. There are some big negatives on the Bobcat that weren’t mentioned. Also try recalibrating your hydrostats.
Darned nice unit. I have a New Holland C345 now that I like. This C345 replaced my new C332, which I had a lot of trouble with. If I get another skid it’s going to be a Bobcat.
Man, that decel pedal feature is genius I'll give them that. Being able to run wide open 95% of the time, but then use pedal to drop engine rpm for more sensitive moves like loading trucks, pallet fork work or even tree grapple work, would be awesome.
Bobcat is ok i like the kubota 97 the older new holland rubber tire is a great machine ive got a 06 185 2spd its only problem like most is hard to see behind i have an old mustang super boom its near perfect bought for 1k spent. 2k in tires and injection pump excellent machine for 45hp
The Kubota model 3 with its excavator door is amazing! It seals tight. We got cats where I’m working. The standard door is a pain if you ever had the latter. The seals on the standard doors seal from the outside to the cab. The excavator door seals from the inside. Which when you turn the heat or ac on it pushes or pressures up against the door which helps it seal even more. I highly recommend the Kubota. Great machine that u can get out of at anytime
I'm a caterpillar guy. Don't have any of these problems. At full lift height or turning or anything. The dealer support is fantastic. Having said that. I'm interested in Bobcats DEF system 😮
I love my 2013 Bobcat T770 (pre DEF). My one and only complaint is the lack of a roll up door. As a single operator many times I need to open the door with the arms partially praised. This is not possible with a Bobcat. Also, sometimes when grading with a bucket I need the visibility and it’s a real pain to take the door off and put it back on.
I loved my 19 T590 but one big thing is the door! I have several attachments that wont work very well if at all because the door needs to be clear of the lift arms so I just traded it in on a Kubota. Even the Kubota salesman said if bobcat had that type of door, they'd have 40% of the market
I bought a new Bobcat E50-R2 Excavator a couple years ago. AC has never worked right. If it's over 80 outside it starts to get to hot inside. On the warmest days I'm lucky if it can keep the cab 10 degrees cooler than the outside temperature and it regularly gets into the 90's here(Southern IL). Also when it's humid at all out water starts coming out of the vents, a lot of water. The dealer has had the machine several times and hasn't fixed it. They claim that the AC is "within specs" . I've checked the temps at the vents and it varies between about 48 and 60+ degrees. As far as water from the vents blowing in my face, they said they were told by Bobcat to tell me to turn the blower down. The dealer admitted to me after the last service that they have a rental machine with the same problem. Other than the AC system I really like the machine, but at this point I will never buy a Bobcat product again. As far as skidsteers, I have a Case TR310B and love the machine. Plenty of power for it's size, good viability a comfortable cab.
Good sales rep for sure. These new Cat 255 and 265 fixing to put some pressure on them. Cat has been doing torsion bar suspension for quite some time, sealed one piece cab and the most quiet cab on the market. These newer R series machines are nice hope for their sale the Dooson part don’t run them in the ground.
My neighbor had bobcat for decades, always had nice new machines, he recently switched to a case minotaur, the steel track machine, he still has a rubber tracked bobcat, however he raves about the minotaur and its capabilities compared to bobcat.
A SVL97 is not 84” wide. It’s 80” so it fits ok on a contractor special trailer. Anymore it’s all about dealer support, all machinery has issues so it’s just best to pick who would take care of you. I like Deere ok but visibility is terrible on them. It’s like sitting in a bathtub, little view of anything below the lift arms. Bobcat is superior for visibility vs Deere.. the new -3 Kubota has a sealed cab and revised door. Even with a few drawbacks, the roll up door makes more sense.
That’s interesting, I’ve never found my Deere to ever lack in power in any function. I have been looking at bobcats but I find them to lack the power that my 325 has. But they have many features John Deere doesn’t and the service at our bobcat dealer is so much better then our Deere dealer! Great video I love the comparison
@@RockhillfarmYT Honestly I haven’t noticed that point myself. I’ve been in machines for 10+ years now. I definitely wish I would have spent more time at bobcat I definitely would have bought a T66. But pushing power you’ll definitely miss about a John Deere the bobcat can’t touch the power of the Deere. Even in the turning I haven’t noticed a T66 being any better. What I have noticed in a T66 is it’s much quieter, it’s faster through its operation circle and speed. It’s 3x better on fuel!!! What a big deal when you run it all day as a business owner I wish I could save that! Their technology far exceeds John Deere. I’d 100% buy a bobcat. There are some things I dislike about my Deere. But power in turning with weight never noticed. What I do notice is when people say they lack power in turning while’s doing other operations they are usually in 2 gear and that in my opinion isn’t healthy operations in any machine even if it can do it iits premature wear 2 gear is to get from site to site minimal turning or carting materials not under huge stress. I see what to many final drives get blown because operators think you can be in 2 gear all the time.
Thanks Brock for putting this out there. You found a very (!) knowledgeable rep. I learned a lot of important reasons why Bobcat may be the way to go, and something important about Kubota’s swing up door (sounds like cab will be way less comfortable in the winter & summer. No thanks. I suppose DEF is a fact of life (I save over 50% by filling cans @ a truck stop for $3.99 / gal.). DPF & regen. a big no way for me (a 10 - 30 time & fuel suck, and productivity killer, IMHO). Deere, Cat & Kubota better bring game if they want to compete w/ Bobcat.
Great sales man one thing though don’t fall for the Kubota rolling door comp the new -3s no longer have that issue as they dramatically improved the machine. Had to decide between the 75-3 and the t66 we went Kubota love the machine best decision but I will miss the bobcat branding.
We have a dairy farm and do excavating as well. We have 9 skid steers, 5 bobcats, 2 Kubotas, a gehl and a 333g. We have run all the brand’s throughout the years other than caterpillar. Bobcat is the best their is but their service department sucks. Deere has the best service hands down. Not just my opinion, lots of die hard bobcat guys will admit their dealers are poor. They are great at selling them but fail on servicing.
I'm old I am sold I'll take one even though I'm retired and have no use for 1 now This guy was super awesome I hope he's a salesman for them too this guy if you're in the market and he just takes you on a tour of that machine you're would not have a doubt in my mind to go with a Bobcat even I heard all the garbage about them But I think the The worm has turned and Bobcat rain supreme
the most important thing that will determine if I buy another bobcat, are you still going ahead with the 'subscription' model for 'features' or have they come to their senses? a monthly fee for high flow or 2 speed is a dumb idea that will have me buy a Kubota
3:05 I have owned 2 bobcats over the years, and I wasn't impressed with them that much. There's plenty of power, yes!! But they do have a lot of flaws. Cab constant Rattle. Cab Door Annoying squeak for starters. Air vents falling apart, radio not working, bucket auto level control wire constantly gets pinched by debris. Their air filter box clogs up daily, hydrolic hoses are exposed and prone to constant replacements. Some idiot decided to route them around arm cross beam where any time you pick up rock that falls off the bucket gets wedged between the arm cross beam and the bucket crashing hydrolic lines. All salesman are full of shit. Their job is to sell you their overpriced $80+k machines. Save your aggravation and buy Case or better yet JCB the Cadillac of track loaders
Man!!!! This guy has knowledge about the bobcat I've been looking at getting a different machine I own a bobcat t770 and nothing I've looked at compares to my t770 everything I've looked at is so slow I do row work and we run a brush cutter and nothing compares to the speed of my t770 and one thing I've noticed on other machines is I can't watch all my temps like bobcat does I can watch pressure and my temps all at once running attachments bobcat has got it going on listening to their customers!!!! Awesome video
Bobcats biggest fall back is service and that is why we left them. Parts are higher at the counter than most competitors, service is slow and sub industry, we had more downtime than running time because of service techs under warranty. So it’s more than just the machine itself.
Number 36. I'm doing terrible maybe it's the clips eclipse just got a lot going on I'm driving to my daughters for the eclipse party. We're right in the path of it was trying to water before there's no more water.
Kubota 97-2 has absolutely zero power loss anywhere, anytime with any amount of dirt in your buckets. Just an absolute beast that’s wants to eat all day.
I was never more turned off by bobcat than at the equip expo a few years ago. Watched two frat bro type reps try to humiliate someone for asking what they thought were dumb questions.
It's always interesting to go to shows, whether it's boats, cars , equipment, electronics, pharmaceuticals...the sales faces, the ones who face the public, are almost always hired pretty faces running through a script for which they know NOTHING about. And we consumers, who know stuff, can see through this in 0.1 seconds. You'd think the mfgrs. would catch a clue...college prep boys and tight skirts do not work long-term.
That's a problem with a lot of equipment companies. They hire little dimwit pretty boys straight out of college with marketing degrees who don't know jack shit about real work with equipment. All they've ever done in most cases is drive one around the lot of their dealership/yard for a few minutes, and moved the various functions a little bit.
Leave it to a Bobcat sales man to try and sell you a $2500 app in response to wanting a door that you can open in real world scenerios. It's not even about climbing out UNDER the load, the last Bobcat I ran, the main boom had to be fully down or the glass contacted the bucket curl cylinders. Another example for instance I use a grapple bucket, a Bobcat brand one too, and even if the main boom is fully down but you have the bucket curled back the door hits the clamps when open.
If I buy another skid steer, it will have to feature side entry, so I can ingress and egress without having to crawl over or step under the load. It's not safe to go under an elevated load. Shalom/gw
I like the roll up doors as well ... much better on safety issues , being able to get out if mid raise of arms and get stuck and cant open door. Its happened to me---scary.
We have 3 Kubota machines. the oldest is a SSV 75 that has about 700 hours on it and had been worked hard in its 5 year life. It's still a workhorse and we have experienced very little down time with it. We also have the SVL 75-2, it's newer and has the same back story with similar results. The newest is a 2024 mini-ex KX 57-5. So far, it has been a fantastic machine with no down time.
Been a union operator for 30+ years.. ran lots of different skidsteers in my time.. most of them if you get them on much of a slope will run the tracks of their selves.. but a deere and cat will hang on a slope all day long with no issues.. I personally would keep the deere over the bobcat
Your Bobcat sails minute full up b.s We have got fifteen hundred hours On are kaboda We have absolutely no problem with the door leaking air or dirt through it

I own a kubota 97-2 for my construction business. Yes the door rattles some and might not seal as well but I'll still take the accessibility any day of the week over a swinging door.
the Kubotas I have run were nice machines, I hate my bobcat door. daily removing it to work and putting it back on end of day for security sucks
Im with you man - its a no brainer and i bet Bobcat engineers are working around the clock to create a roll up door system. It would be bad business if they are not! My kubota 75-3 door dont rattle any

Buddy, I wouldn’t dump the Deere because of one minor inconvenience. In addition, you’re comparing a 74 Horse JD to 105 Horse Bobcat.
He was comparing his 74 HP Deere to a T66 or 75 HP Bobcat.
I think they're making this issue up, hydraulics are computer control and computer won't let you bog down the engine it will adjust hydraulics to balance the load on the engine
I did not say you bogged the engine. I said it didn’t move very fast. Not a big deal

Bobcat is Owned by Doosan. I don't understand why we keep selling off everything that was first built in America!!!
Why? It's sold off to the lowest bidder....$$$. And payoffs to individuals for loopholes in tariffs, shipping, import fees, and marketing.
I guess the only upside is that Doosan is a South Korean company and not communist Chinese, but I definitely get your point.
Have to talk to the folks who actually did it.
And Doosan/Develon is making thier own ctl, dtl35
Because libtards over-regulated and unions made it impossible to turn a profit.
We have a T76 and have zero complaints. This guy was very informative. Also learned about a few features I didn’t know we had lol Wish he had time to explain the left side control panel for the viewers.

But the dust will clog up the a/c

If you like the bobcat you'll love the takeuchi
😂😂😂
Takeuchi most reliable machine on market. For speed and comfort you purchase a bobcat.
@@michaellauritsen5433 key phrase is you had to open the door-
a HUGE inconvenience not being able to run the machine with door open.

Great to see why so many used bobkats r on the market. They are going NEW! Thankz for sharing. So many thangz to check out on a skid!
I have a T76 , plenty of power (more than I anticipated), no DEF, been a great machine
Try adding the aspiration kit
I'm impressed with the machine... whoever put that guy in sales is a genius ! He is what we all hope to encounter when we walk up to get the straight skinny on a machine.

Brock your Kioti comment about previously making the Bobcat. Kioti now has their own, and with the kioti name on it.
It would be a great comparison between those two companies now that they're more independent of each other.
I don't recall if you had a video on the kioti or not 🤷🏻♂️
+1 on that, would love to see a review of the Kioti trac loader.
@@Jo-tw8kr Jo, so would a lot of other people too, my opinion 👍🏻
Kioti only has a 70 hp model. no high flow yet and a non pressurised cab
That guy knows his product.
The Bobcat salesman is really good he could sell ski resort property in Kansas
Lol. Maybe me think about the ski resort near Worcester Massachusetts. It was made on an old garbage dump. Maybe he was on the design team😅

I’ve been saying for a while I wish I got a machine with a rollup door, but I like to hear other opinions
For people who run these machines for a living, the top three sellers are caterpillar, John Deere, and bobcat
All three use the swing outdoor and they could easily switch to a overhead.
This is an excellent and informative video for sure Brock. That Bobcat rep was awesome! Nice to have someone who knows their stuff!
If you got a good deal dealership, that goes a long way
I would highly advise you to wait until the new Deere P series comes out.
No matter what anyone says swing out doors are a deal breaker, no good.
Thanks, Brock. I am actually thinking about skid steer and grading information. Thank you very much. Great video.
True... Everyone is decated to what they use
Use to plow snow for hours in a Bobcat. Was the best!
Outstanding salesman! Wow! Hope he's paid well so he sticks around.
My neighbor had bobcat for decades, always had nice new machines, he recently switched to a case minotaur, the steel track machine, he still has a rubber tracked bobcat, however he raves about the minotaur and its capabilities compared to bobcat.
depends what you are doing. steel tracks wouldnt work for me
Steel tracks are strictly for dirt
@@DavidSilvia-ms7tk they make some sense on the minotaur. still havent seen one in person but watched all the propaganda for it.
This video was so informative. Thank you for posting.
Thanks
Nice machine.I still like the simplicity of the Takeuchi and the Kubota's.Japanese refinement at its best.
Never lack power for pushing, pulling or lifting.
Trying to turn while you’re doing a function seems jacked up to me
@@RockhillfarmYT
Honestly I haven’t noticed that point myself.
I look at it this way , buy something you can get parts easily, best service and that meets all your needs.
My 2011 t 190 with kobota motor is still going strong, and has been very reliable
Excellent, Lots of great info in this video. I really like the bobcats.
Nice hat by the way
Great sales man one thing though don’t fall for the Kubota rolling door comp the new -3s no longer have that issue as they dramatically improved the machine. Had to decide between the 75-3 and the t66 we went Kubota love the machine best decision but I will miss the bobcat branding.
Great video very informative
Great video. There is a nearby Bobcat dealer in Milford, PA. Will check them out.

Got to try the new cat 265. 75hp but has all the specs of a 100 hp machine. It is the Cadillac of ctls
Love knowledgeable reps that are straight shooters. Makes you want to buy a bobcat lol
the most important thing that will determine if I buy another bobcat, are you still going ahead with the 'subscription' model for 'features' or have they come to their senses? a monthly fee for high flow or 2 speed is a dumb idea that will have me buy a Kubota
Nice useful tool.
Any make or model will do.
Im going demo the new cat 265 tomorrow but im going to swing by bobcat dealer on my way home, im curious now

Awesome video
best machine available is the t770 IMO.
I got 3 bobcat love them
Bobcats biggest fall back is service and that is why we left them.
Number 36 in the Comments but number one in our hearts
Kubota 97-2 has absolutely zero power loss anywhere, anytime with any amount of dirt in your buckets. Just an absolute beast that’s wants to eat all day.
I've rented a T770 with a forestry mulcher and it overheated OFTEN. Knocking down brush and trees less than 2" in diameter.
What a great bit of information. Thank you.
What’s a good model for forestry with attachment model?
Does he mean assembly in USA ,like putting the stickers on a machine made in Korea?
Engine is built in Korea, rest of machine built in USA. North Dakota. All engineering takes place in us and UK.
Thanks for this video! Very informative.
All they've ever done in most cases is drive one around the lot of their dealership/yard for a few minutes, and moved the various functions a little bit.
roll up door is nice but it is loud and a pain in the butt. get labors and your just fine.
Only thing I didn't like about the bobcat was lift and tilt on the bucket with foot pedals hard to control in the more delicate places
Just gotta get used to em,imo the hand foot controls are better than joysticks for tight places.
If I buy another skid steer, it will have to feature side entry, so I can ingress and egress without having to crawl over or step under the load. It's not safe to go under an elevated load. Shalom/gw
So spend 115k on a unique brand like JCB or come to the realization that going over or under the load is just a basic characteristic of a skid steer.
Where can you get the best service? That's what we do
Also they love to compare the older -2 now the 95 is still a -2 but we have air by our heads now.
Lol he is a good salesman that’s for sure. I’d still rather own a shovel before a bobcat and yes I’ve spent hours in the new models
I appreciate your opinion
love to have a skid steer, just way to expensive from all brands.
The only name you need to remember is KUBOTA! Great value and NO DOWN TIME plus excellant re-sale.
@@kenevans7286700hrs in 5 years. Grow a pair kid 😂
Been a union operator for 30+ years.. ran lots of different skidsteers in my time.. most of them if you get them on much of a slope will run the tracks of their selves.. but a deere and cat will hang on a slope all day long with no issues.. I personally would keep the deere over the bobcat
Makes me want to buy one
Your Bobcat sails minute full up b.s We have got fifteen hundred hours On are kaboda We have absolutely no problem with the door leaking air or dirt through it
Doubt
"Nothing Runs Like A Deere" 🦌 👍 🇺🇲
That orange paint job on the inside of the door is pretty loud. To bright for me, where's the gray?
