I sometimes don't think about it in the heat of battle while playing, but watching it here just now, man the gun and cannon sound effects really are awesome in this game.
I love what they've done with the sound. Even the area with the 4 large fires in Irongate Castle... The sound of the fire is incredible!

I'm enjoying the castle area so much, there's A LOT to do in and around the castle. I noticed that leveling up stopped triggering the witch events like "new enemies" and "rearranging her defenses", now that may be that I've crossed a threshold (currently at level 35 - opened a new healing elixir slot), but since level 30 no more messages about the witch when I level up. Unless they're increasing the difficulty in the background without telling us, but they wouldn't do that, right, they wouldn't mess with us... right??

Oh man... I think they truly ARE messing with you (and me). I think they rolled out an update the other day where they turned those messages off. But you wouldn't want it to be the other way because you love the chaos of it all as much as I do! 😂
I also just discovered the additional uses of white feather today... you can even spend them to unveil the 3rd block on a row. In theory you can fill out your entire board with arcanas.. there was a screenshot on the wf discord. Apparently they had been picking up cursed items to farm calamities for feathers.
Holy crap I didn't know that. I've been playing this in the background and had no idea what the feathers were for.

Man, I've not seen you play one game so much. You must really love this. I've been playing in the background and not recording. After my first run or two I worried there wasn't that much content and put it down, but just watching the first 30 seconds of your gameplay its obvious that there is a LOT more to do. You're slinging spells, fighting enemies I've never seen, and got a wicked rifle. Ok, maybe time to pick it back up.
This is the game that just keeps giving. Every time I go back in, I see something I never have before. The randomness of the difficulty spikes and the weird stuff thrown at the player throughout a run never gets old. I love it!

Thanks for the vids. I overlooked both the Ring of Excreta and the Rotten Fiend but after watching your vids I used them both and took down the 1st familiar with relative ease. This game is a blast. 👍

you can skip the closed gate swordsmen horde event and the coin toll... just jump over the roofs to the right lol. they just stare at you from behind the locked gate

Yes, 20 Minutes Till Dawn is a favorite of mine. I like a lot of the Bullet Heaven games I end up playing and there are so many great ones out there!
