Well Done, Daniele! I am a fingerstyle player, more in the realm of Tommy E... Blues and Jazz. But always loved Segovia and back in the late 1970's was enamored by him. I sought out lessons from one of his students in California then. I found him playing at a wedding in Big Sur, a lovely home on the cliffs. He was playing in the driveway as people entered. I knew right away he was a student of Segovia for his style. I walked up to him and asked him directly. He said, Yes, I studied with Segovia for 10 years. So I took a few months lessons with him. I see those excersises in your style also. Well done. Grazi !

I've been learning tremolo technique on a steel string and it's been *very* difficult - I also began learning Recuerdos at the same time, lol ...I guess I enjoy a challenge and I've improved tremendously over a few months but I'd sure like to try it on a nylon string because I know it doesn't have to be quite so difficult - - especially on the B and E strings... I think sometimes it's harder for an experienced guitarist to learn a whole new technique because we have to deal with feeling like a beginner again - at least for a short time and it's tempting to give up and slip back into our comfort zone. Tremolo is such a magical sound - completely captivating 🎶
Congratulations on playing Recuerdos de la Alhambra on steel strings, my comfort zone is nylon strings so nails help me in arpeggio or tremolo !
hows the tremolo a year later?
non riesco a non dare l accento sul pollice... prendere una buona velocita' ed avere un tremolo paro senza accento e parecchio che ci provo sembra sempre di ricominciare dall inizio prima che la mano si abitui, le unghie si intrappolano nelle corde.
Maestro, i practice 30 minutes tremolo everyday. what time do i need to be able to play a good and quick tremolo? is it one month , two....? thank you
Hi Mahran , this depends on various factors. It could be a year if you then play another hour of good pieces for your right hand, such as Villa Lobos's Etude 1, or Matteo Carcassi's Op.60 studies (these are fantastic) .
Salve maestro, non capisco perché non riesco a fare il tremolo, il medio si contrae e rimane dentro la mano e non riesco a rilassarlo mentre suono. Potrebbe darmi un consiglio, è anni che provo, è molto deprimente per me . Questa contrazione del medio la sento anche gli arpeggi, sono molto abbattuto
