About four minutes of this show must have been references to the 900 number game, which they first did in early 1990 near the end of the original run. THis airing could come from a later rerun of the 1993 version, as IIRC five weeks out of the 21 Scrabble 1993 and Scattergories ran were reruns.
Watching them cut crossword games off early to finish in Speedword always annoyed me and that home player game surely contributed to it on this episode as I generally recall them finishing more games normally on the 93 version than the original.

@@paulbalares2307 did you poop yo pants in 1993? I remember the bathroom where this was taped was in a back hallway there was a gold door knob and the bathroom was very creepy it had a high ceiling black and white tile and TOILEts with black toilet seats. I freaked out and ran out of that bathroom
@@paulbalares2307 the reason the cube didn't rotate on the 93 version was because the mechanism the causes the cube to turn broke. That was due to being in storage and a lot of moving around. NBC didn't feel like getting it fixed.

It's too bad they weren't able to get the board cube to rotate to the other side for the Sprint Round.
