The werewolf in the Wolfman kinda reminds me of the werewolves from Ginger Snaps and Howl, the transformation was slow, behaved similarly to a disease, ala zombie bite. Funny how that's the case, while Werewolves has a story built similarly to a zombie apocalypse movie
The Wolf Man remake trailer felt too much more like a Zombie movie.
Yeah I think I'll pass. Based off of the way it's going, it doesn't seem like my kind of thing.
Maybe the Wolfman still has traces of his humanity & was hesitant to kill his family during the truck scene? Really not enough to go on with a few seconds of a trailer. You seem to have your mind made up regardless, seeing the design isn't what you expect, want, or need it to be.
On that note, the marketing is brilliant, putting the creature front & center in broad daylight, knowing it was different enough to spark conversation & debate. On an even different note than the previous note, GODZILLA MINUS ONE is returning to theaters for one day with EXTRA FOOTAGE on November 1st👍...Fingers crossed it's in IMAX again👀
(2:49) I don't think thats necessarily a bad idea though. It would be a more unique and interesting take on someone slowly transforming into a werewolf compared to other werewolf movies we have gotten over the years. But as of right now I doubt that this movie is going to pull off that concept very well though. 🤔👤⏰🐺🤷♂

The truck scene would've been a lot better if
A) It was paced better.
And
B) It didn't go on for too long. Seriously, even I was like "Okay I get it, just get the frekking jumpscare over with already".
Whereas Werewolves kinda feels like a larger scale take on Dog Soldiers.
Yeah, I can't see myself defending the new Wolf Man design anymore. I'll be sure to address this new Wolf Man 2025 trailer in my upcoming stream on the 19th, 'cuz I've got some thoughts on it before the main subject of said stream.

Well, they can't all be the original The Wolf Man or The Howling. BTW, am I the only one who gets massive Underworld vibes from the designs in Werewolves? That alone makes it more worthy of watching over the 2025 Wolf Man.
P.S. Yes. I fucking LOVE Underworld. It's an urban fantasy thriller that has no business holding up as well as it does.

Hey Omni Viewer, since you are still developing your future thoughts on the worst Japanese movie “Devilman”, I would like to share you this interesting story about this bad movie:
Outside of the Godzilla franchise, Devilman was so bad that people didn’t see it as a failure of the film but a failure of the entire Japanese film industry, it was labeled as the number one worst movie of the 2000s surpassing “Dragonball Evolution”
What are your overall thoughts on this negativity and how people despise the Japanese film industry?

As a fan of super natural creatures, and the horror genre. The trailer for Werewolves has peak my interest than blum house's Wolf man. As I learned that the director for Wolfman is the same guy who directed that god awful the Invisible Man movie. When I have heard about that news, I lost my complete faith and interest on that film. Anyways, time will tell if one of these films would good, bad or down right forgettable. We will see in the upcoming future.

Omni, do you know that all you need for a good Wolf Man movie is a guy who becomes a werewolf? If anything, the new film looks like it’s disrespecting the originals by not doing them. Also, Werewolves looks like a ripoff of Dog Soldiers. Besides, a werewolf version of the Fly could work with the wolf man. We can't use the tropes of the original, so why not use more relevant ones? Besides, the point of the werewolf is that we're ALL monsters inside, even with religion, science, culture, and so forth, we're all just animals. You're complaints are kinda missing the forest for the trees. (pun unintended.) Werewolves, to you, are just monsters that jump out and go boo. Besides, Werewolves are a public Domain creature, you could just make a werewolf story of your own. This may sound off, but when dealing with werewolves or vampires, you really have no right to be in a consistent creative box. The point is that I think you’re being a negative Nancy and/or needlessly pessimistic.

"Wolf Man" is a specific character, not just a generic werewolf you can do whatever with. This is like saying that all you need to make a good King Kong movie is feature a giant gorilla. That's silly.

Besides, Are you really expecting ANY werewolf to live up to Lon Chaney Jr.? They should be doing their own thing rather than tarnishing the original.

Mistakes in the Wolfman, there was the 1st one, that attacked the truck, then scratches the dad, and the family only faces him through the movie, what happened to the 1st one?
In werewolves, a super moon turned millions, yet somehow society lives on like it's nothing, until the next super moon when it happens again? like Noone prepared for it? are they all stupid? What's the point? it would serve a purpose if all those werewolves were to have a bigger opponent like alien creatures that were behind it then lost control and now have a huge battle to deal with these monsters.
