Great, you keep striving….. I have my valet trash company which is called Planet Green Valet and we are building so I definitely understand where you are coming from. You got this, and keep doing your thing.
I used to live in a condo. And thought of what my pain was...garbage take out! Thought I thought of a new business that nobody has right of... I was wrong... but def. Something I'm going to do as my business
Great tips! I recently started my remodeling business a year ago and now I’m trying to add another leg to the business by offering cleaning services. Always looking for different streams of cash flow! Great work keeep it up the leg work pays off, what’s meant to be is already yours no need to beg anyone for it! Value your worth and your quality of work!
Not sure where your from but maybe able to give you valuable info on Valet trash. Keep in mind in most cases it's a amenity service. So that in which is charged to the resident is not totally going into your pocket. Just food for thought. Apartment complexes are incentivized to add the amenity.
$15/mo for 5 days a month especially for a luxury apt is very low. I get $30/mo for 4 days a week in a not so expensive apt complex. I would look to raise your prices because these apts have it.
Yes, I always see this as a common problem. I think maybe sending in info to your current property would be a great start. Don’t let them know who you are. I would definitely act you are Someone else.
dont be afraid to charge for your services , all your next contracts raise your prices !!! , also let them pay in full or half upfront set your rules its your business .
so when trying to get a contract, should you go directly inside the apartment complex office and speak to the property manager or try to get in contact with regional manager?
I actually think it’s great to do both! It’s definitely easier to go in or contact the property manager, but for huge complexes maybe a bit more work to get the regional manager but I think do ALL you can do
Thank you for your awesome content. How do you go about pricing your services, residential, aibnbs, etc. Any tips will be much appreciated! Thank you:)
Hi Peteri! Residential- I called the top 3 companies in my are. I ask them pricing and deep cleaning pricing. Prices may be different where you are from a place in another state. So I always say make sure to get pricing. Airbnb - same concept. You can go to Airbnb.com and act as if you want to reserve a property and you will see the cleaning fee. Start writing those prices down from 2 /1 bath , 3/2 bath, 4 bedroom and so on. I have seen people also use $15-$20 a room and that also means including the kitchen and bathrooms as rooms
Thank you for this. I started working for a trash valet service a couple of weeks ago that pay around $20 an hour. Was wondering how I could do this myself as the management is terrible and has been really bad at helping me. They gave me no training, no equipment and I basically had to plan the trash route myself. I might try and reach out to other apartments or even see if this one would be interested in working with me rather the company I work for.
Wow! You have a great opportunity here. You know exactly the equipment that’s needed and whatnot takes. Only thing, you just need to figure out how to get the clients/contracts. I would recommend going full force in reaching out to apartment complexes and pitch the services. Even if you offered them a third of the amount charged to residents. You just need to cold call a crap load of apartments. Email a load of apartments and complete a follow up. You just need to one complex and you got it from there
This specific quote - I have them three quotes in total. I just emailed it, no specific form or paperwork. I usually do this using Rocket Lawyer. However, I let them know the pricing for each floor plan using my online website. I told them they would need to book online. For trash valet, I told them a monthly charge for each resident and how often we’d be there. For the hallways, vacuuming, office I have them a quote on each visit. Now if they had agreed, I would go to Rocketlawyer.com. Look for janitorial agreement, follow the prompts and add in each service, scope of work and pricing.
Can you do this without having to go to the complex office or getting a contract? Just free will, print flyers, get clients & go from there if complex don’t have this service but don’t mind you doing it
I either look up the place that owns it. Usually going to the website and you’ll see the company at the bottom. I look it up on Facebook because it will have an email address. You could call but they may not always be the decision maker, may be corporate office
@@thehustlenetwork wow thank you . I been going to apartments and just handing them flyers … handed out 50 of them to apartments even saying I’d go lower than their competitors and still nothing. I’d try emailing them instead !
Hey beautiful did you get the gig? And thanks you for information on a booking koala. I’m gonna make a account. I just started a cleaning service from scratch with no help or support after losing my CDL I’m stuck trying to find work and having a hard time finding a job so I decided to be self employed.
Ok so roughly your invoicing them $15k a month not the $3800? I’m looking to do this service and just wanna make sure I would bill for the service’s correctly. Thank you for your time and congrats on your business.
No that’s incorrect. Your charging them $15 per door per month x the amount of units. So for example if I had 200 units x $15. Door that’s 3000 a month. I would have a tech going out there 5 days a week
Great, you keep striving….. I have my valet trash company which is called Planet Green Valet and we are building so I definitely understand where you are coming from. You got this, and keep doing your thing.
Thank you!! Likewise!
Have heard of this. Thanks for breaking the $$$ down.

Since you're familiar in remodeling I'd look into construction cleaning you can do all phases or just the post phase

Invoice 1 x a month. Can be between $8-12 a door
How do I get in touch with the property manager?? Every time I try they either " Busy" or they're not there...
I either look up the place that owns it. Usually going to the website and you’ll see the company at the bottom. I look it up on Facebook because it will have an email address.

What’s the website you use for the billing?
Residential - BookingKoala and they use Square or Stripe
Commercial - Jobber and they use Stripe
Airbnb - Square
Your awesome!
The 3855 is that weekly or just for the month ?
The month
Do you use an excel or app to organize route ?
App is best.
I have a question. How can I inbox or directly contact you?
Raylyndunlap@gmail.com
You said $15 a month per door. Is that $15x257? And is that $3855 per week paid to your company?
Yes! That’s correct. It’s $15 monthly. Per door
Each month. So not weekly, monthly
Ok so roughly your invoicing them $15k a month not the $3800? I’m looking to do this service and just wanna make sure I would bill for the service’s correctly. Thank you for your time and congrats on your business.
