Really good tips : 1) Bulma's development community is exploitable. Use your strongest emblems in her community until you got the max level, then level up your car and robot until the highest level you can. After that you can remove all the emblems, but the car and robot stats stay the same, meaning after the upgrade, all the emblems in the development community become useless, so just use them for another one. 2) The fastest way to level up after story is : Android 21's Training level 10. There is a lot you have to do to be efficient in this. I will explain. First, do as the video says, max your training community to max level to get 100%+ battle exp bonus. Then, eat a 2 star chi chi recipe meal in order to gain 25%+ exp in battle ( note: upgrading cooking community extends the duration of meal effects ). At this point you will have 125%+ exp gain, and fun fact, meal effect duration does not decrease while in battle, they only decrease when out of battle ( it doesn't decrease when your menu or map is open either ) which means, you can have an infinite 125% boost of exp while doing training, since there's only like a 3 second window between ending the battle, and selecting another one. if you're level 120, you can 1 shot level 10, if you cannot 1 shot level 10 training, then do the one below, or below that, until you find one that you can clear in around less than 10 seconds. I have gone from level 100 to level 200 in a day and a half by doing this method. ( level 10 training rewards 383k exp with the 125% boost, so imagine getting 1 million exp every 30-40 seconds for every character)
3) This is more of a helpful fact than a tip: Players that are not involved in a battle, will also gain exp, but they will gain less. To be more specific, characters who are physically with you when fighting an enemy, as support characters, will receive the same amount of exp as the main character you're playing as. But fun fact, players who are not in party, also gain exp, but they gain 25% less, meaning if you receive 100k exp, you and your 2 other party members willl get 100% of that exp, while the rest of the characters who are not in party will always receive 25% less exp ( 75k ) Note: While doing training level 10 for example, you gain an average of 400k exp, but you can only play as one player, meaning you cannot have party members. Lets' say goku is the one doing this training, he will gain 400k exp ( party members will not get 100% of the exp as they're not fighting ) So, everyone except whichever character you're playing as, will recieve 300k exp ( 25% less than the one(s) fighting )
Nah boi is all about that whis grind now I know this comment is 3 months ago but this is so much better like before u needed to do about 2 to 3 battles of androids 21 level 10 training which would only give u 1 level higher than before now, now whis give u all the transformations without even starting the first story mission heck I was level 48 and in 5 hours I was lvl 250 nice and easy and with the water whis gives (bills included) u can upgrade your character about 4 levels for just one battle of whis so technically you can start the game and be level max in just 8-10 hours pretty easy all tho I dont recommend it much even tho it's fun to see and train you character to full power it will be boring in story mode u will just one shot every opponent (until lvl 60 o or 70 depends on what level you are) so if u want to have an adventure recommend not doing the dlc at all and just do the story mode then the dlc but if u want to speed run the entire game or just to feel powerful and mighty then dragon ball z kakarot dlc is just for u!
Best way to farm exp is to eat a full course meal that increases EXP. Then you can actully fly into enemies that are low enough level and get what the game calls an “Instant win” you basically beat the opponent by flying into them at full speed. The best part is that it still counts it as a battle, so you get about the same exp u get from a normal battle of them, and you can just keep running into more and more and rack up some good EXP.
That's the best way to farm up on Z-Orbs, can get well over a couple thousand in a matter of seconds just doing Instant Win (When an enemy 3 levels or lower than you lock on to you just fly in a circle and you will run into them). Also the best way to get an S every time is to spam the Ki Blast Barrages like literally back to back to back. You can get well over 100 hit combos which is an automatic S in that category. Pretty much after that try to avoid as much damage as possible or finish the fight very fast. While in the Barrage state you won't flinch often at all. (To do the ki blast barrage constantly without much delay go to options and turn off, Slow Motion so you can get right back into the Barrage). If you want to avoid combat when you're trying to get something or talk to someone, either fly into the Z-Orb ring, or fly up to the World Map and open it (It only works for triggering World Map without opening the dragon radar), and it will clear any enemy currently locked onto you. **TL;DR** *Instant Win == LOTS of Z-Orbs, so don't collect them on the world map. *Ki Blast Barrage (Both Versions) is OP asf so spam it and you'll get an S Rank all the time. *Remove Slow Motion for faster fights *Fly thorugh Z Orb rings or fly up to world map (do not open dragon radar and press World Map) then leave the menu and any enemy chasing you will disappear.
I bet most people dont know to eat the meals in the items menu. I thought you ate them when you made them. But you can restore your health whenever without a campfire
That's a nice video! I just picked up the game and I'm having a blast! I'm trying to play with keyboard and mouse so far, but tomorrow I think I'll go and buy a console control!
-If you want a real challenge do not level up too much your character (% abilities) so you'll feel every fight like a real boss fight. -On Ps4, Press L1 or R1 during battles while you hit your enemey or during a big power attack, so you'll slow down the time and get a much better cooler looking cinematic fight.
not so secret tip; pause screen then press y/triangle - z encyclopaedia, you instantly get all d medals you earned from story missions which is enough for intermission
You forgot something about surge, it allows you to spam moves you cant normally, you can spam beam attacks like masneko, the first time you masekno it acts nomral, the second time you actually instant transmission to your opponent allowing you to use a guarenteed hit masenko for free, this works with all beam attacks and surge, except maybe spirals due to their small size
Charging enemies instant kills them for the same xp you'd get for fighting them. Go to Kami house and just fly back and forth hitting them. At level 35 it's like 20k every 5 seconds.
I had only just figured out the smoke telling you where the campfire is only when I was near the end of the main story and I facepalmed myself when I did lol. This video is awesome though. Thank you!
MrZiplineDS Hoping this game will at least have DLC featuring the OG Dragon Ball at the least. If not another game like this but focusing on Dragon Ball would be awesome. It doesn’t get the love and respect it deserves. It’s just as good if not better than DBZ
Eh, while that's the common term, he's not using it incorrectly. "When all said is done", is still basically when you've done everything he said. Gotta be more flexible with the language brother
Tip for farming gifts: hop around areas and take out red ribbon bases for some as well as gold air flows sometimes have some, from what I’ve seen they respawn when you jump around maps
Just a bit of info, as the story progressed the shenron wishes got more powerful. Zeni for example went from 30k to 60k then 100k so it can be worth it in mid to end game
1. You don't need to farm Holy Crab M or Zeni if you do a moderate amount of exploring while playing. Super easy to get Zeni naturally. 2. Certain soul emblems are better on certain boards - you are not getting their full benefit if you're putting them all on one board. 3. Only eat full course meals when you have a full party so that the permanent effects hit more than one character. Other meals can be eaten whenever.
You want to place all of the emblems on one board like the training community until you have better ones to put there. The goal is to get that 15% XP bonus once you have that you can start rearranging the board better
@@GamingWithAbyss its better to put all emblems in the cooking set before you cook or eat.Afterwards change them back And you want to upgrade the set emblems with respective proficiency to the max.
Go to ginger town there is a air stream on the right side. Save load spam. You get a divine awakening water everytime along with abt 5 rainbow orbs. Best way to lvl community boards
Yeah couple people have mentioned this so thank you for confirming it. That's one way and then in the post-game you can make a wish for gifts and get a bunch of them
From what I have seen, the best tips are the training community, eating a goku worth of food, and just playing the story because it will always keep you within a few levels of the main bad guy thus rendering fighting nobs useless.
1 important tipp: if u have the chance to pick kuririn DO IT!!! he has the best ability in the game (solar flare) that can stunn enemys throught EVERY attack they make
I just use him for support. Tien also has solar flare. I have Krillin do solar flare at the beginning of most fights, move to the side of a group while they're stunned and one shot a few at a time with super galick gun.
Idk if anyone plays this or not but at the start of battle it is really easy to deal significant damage straight away to 3 enemys by quickly dashing and lining them up and using your beam attack
Yes you are the third person to confirm it but I think I found a better way by using the dragon balls and wishing for rare items. You can get 30 to 60 pts to raise a character's training level
One of the tips i think you missed on was an easy EXP grind and Orb grind. While bursting on a map and traveling you sometimes aggro random mobs who might follow you. If you burst into them you get an instant victory and get orbs and exp for the instant kill. This is how ive lvled super fast. This doesnt work on any party with a Villian Aura though.
If u spam x (on ps4) or a (on xbox) and move the joystick to any direction u can dodge soooooooooo many attacks and it doesn't take ki away and plus if u dodge u don't have to take any damage
Never needed money, at all, in this game. I don't use healing items though. Except for in the more difficult training fights and I typically only use the sensu beans.
I like to have that 15% battle XP bonus this way your level will be on par with the main story mission. Anything extra would definitely be a good idea to fill up the warrior community
best way to level your soul emblems is to collect the dragonballs and wish for rare items. you will get awakened water. do this on repeat and you will level them quick
great, i just finished cell mission with zero knowledge of the permanent status up for full course meal. Game's cool, but they threw literally too much for players at the beginning and we are left to try and fail. There is also a move that allows you to break out any combo's(except stun moves) that is R2 and SQUARE, but use on your own caution, overuse it makes the game really boring.
The problem i have is getting red orbs. In the DLC part 1 and 2, in order to upgrade attacks u need at least 10000 red orbs per upgrade. It takes too long to get orbs having to fight enemies
Go to your menu then select items hover over the item like Vitadrink M then Register Palette. Once it is registered then you will be able to use those items in battle
It is a pitty that there is no need to grind... I would like to have some enemies which are too strong to beat and after some solid training I am able to beat them. Also I would like to have better rewards for completing quests. As cooking is not needed because characters already are strong enough and it is hard to lose. I think it is to easy to collet z orbs. They are the most valuable things as they unlock new skills. Besides, a huge value to this game would be adding costumes which you can get for completing quests. That would be something to fight for!
The villainous enemies are probably the strongest post game. As for cooking I barely did that throughout my play through and I rarely collected any of the Z orbs because you can wish for twenty thousand of them
I came to this video hoping to learn something i didn't know but i guess after beating the game and only need 3 more achievements there much more for me to learn
@@GamingWithAbyss indeed i do you can actually get all your characters maximum from that all u really need to do is get your training with whis up to the lvl 100 lvl and keep battling him as u farm the sacred waters and you can actually stack about 999 of them and just use those to lvl up your character
People are talking about accidentally auto-saving and losing progress. Auto-save should only be occurring at your current progress point. How can it overwrite your current progress with an earlier point?
Just kill and explore a bunch, get 5 levels stronger than enemies and DASH THE HECK OUTTA THEM, you'll have lots of orbs and parts for them, sell the heck outta them, fish the heck outta the sea, learn how to dodge EVERY ATTACK on weaker enemies (I was dumb and learned how to dodge versus the Ginyu Force, don't do that!), and eat full courses. Eat them as you never ate before. Ah, about them. There's NPCs which talk about recipes, which you can approach them for even cooler recipes. And you gotta find ingredients on the wild, as peach, coconut, carrot and other stuff to cook. And remember kids, moving, eating, resting, fishing, fighting, helping the *community* and dash on lower level enemies! That's the way of the turtle schoo- Good luck! kiddos.
Here's an extra tip! On the topic of the Super Finish - If you happen to be transformed and in surge mode, and perform a blast attack such as Kamehameha, defeating the last opponent of that battle, you get a cutscene where the blast leaves the planet for a "Super Finish"! Another tip that goes in line with the Super Finish strat - in surge mode, you can constantly chain super attacks. While that doesn't sound too mindblowing, if you chain your Kamehameha, you will continue to teleport next to your opponent to blast them. Since this can only be done in surge mode and most fights have you transformed already, you're going to get a Super Finish most of the time.
Pro tip. Holding RT on Xbox or R2 on ps4 allows you to move up and down during fights. So if you hold the step button to boost +R2 while zipping around, it'll make dodging big attacks way easier. Most beams and blasts go in a straight line, or cone. But rarely up and down. Plus you do more damage if you do a combo or blast from above and your enemy slams into the ground.

Love this❤ this is exactly what i wanted! Thank you so much😊
You're welcome
Wow ive played like the first 3-4 hours of the game and i didnt know a lot of this and you explained well bro one of the few i give a subscription for
Thank you I appreciate the support
Great! Thanks a lot, I had a problem with side quests because i didnt know that in menu I can check which quests are available right now.
Many thanks! +1
Glad I could help!
@@GamingWithAbyss sry, one more question, r u 100% sure that i can see every side quests? Even this which arent show on world map ? Becuse I cant remember but i think that i checked once and i cant saw (but im not sure, maybe this wasnt time for this sidequest)
you only see the side quests that are available. no matter where they're at they will show up in the menu when they are available
@@GamingWithAbyss but every side questes? I mean that im read on some website that some of this quests are available but they are t mark on the map. In story i can see also these?
Great video, super helpful. Did want to let you know that the phrase is ‘when all is said and done’ not whatever it is you said
Yeah sometimes I'll just say stuff randomly lol
Greatly useful video. Loved the quick summary about the community board, keep up the good work
thank you I appreciate it
Greatest quickguide, i wish i had seen it earlier!! Thanks a lot
Very well put together video. I def learned a few things. You've earned my sub, looking forward to your next video!
Thank you I appreciate the support
Really good tips :
1) Bulma's development community is exploitable.
But fun fact, players who are not in party, also gain exp, but they gain 25% less, meaning if you receive 100k exp, you and your 2 other party members willl get 100% of that exp, while the rest of the characters who are not in party will always receive 25% less exp ( 75k )
Note: While doing training level 10 for example, you gain an average of 400k exp, but you can only play as one player, meaning you cannot have party members. Lets' say goku is the one doing this training, he will gain 400k exp ( party members will not get 100% of the exp as they're not fighting ) So, everyone except whichever character you're playing as, will recieve 300k exp ( 25% less than the one(s) fighting )
This is a really good tip and you should copy and paste this on my fastest way to level up guide 😁

Nah boi is all about that whis grind now I know this comment is 3 months ago but this is so much better like before u needed to do about 2 to 3 battles of androids 21 level 10 training which would only give u 1 level higher than before now, now whis give u all the transformations without even starting the first story mission heck I was level 48 and in 5 hours I was lvl 250 nice and easy and with the water whis gives (bills included) u can upgrade your character about 4 levels for just one battle of whis so technically you can start the game and be level max in just 8-10 hours pretty easy all tho I dont recommend it much even tho it's fun to see and train you character to full power it will be boring in story mode u will just one shot every opponent (until lvl 60 o or 70 depends on what level you are) so if u want to have an adventure recommend not doing the dlc at all and just do the story mode then the dlc but if u want to speed run the entire game or just to feel powerful and mighty then dragon ball z kakarot dlc is just for u!
if u need alot of zeni u can sell crystals or iron but watch out WHAT u buy u might sell rare items 👍
Thank you so much!! I learn a lot. It made sense when you play the game for a while and then you give amazing tips. Thank you!
No problem!

Nice trick and thank you for sharing
Luke Roberts yea found it works last night
*Jester* *The* *Troll* it’s only good for low lvl end game the exp isn’t enough to make it worth it
That's the best way to farm up on Z-Orbs, can get well over a couple thousand in a matter of seconds just doing Instant Win (When an enemy 3 levels or lower than you lock on to you just fly in a circle and you will run into them).
**TL;DR**
*Instant Win == LOTS of Z-Orbs, so don't collect them on the world map.
*Ki Blast Barrage (Both Versions) is OP asf so spam it and you'll get an S Rank all the time.
*Remove Slow Motion for faster fights
*Fly thorugh Z Orb rings or fly up to world map (do not open dragon radar and press World Map) then leave the menu and any enemy chasing you will disappear.
I bet most people dont know to eat the meals in the items menu. I thought you ate them when you made them. But you can restore your health whenever without a campfire
I thought the same thing at first until I notice them in my item menu
Thanks for this, im a complete noob and needed to know more about emblems and such, such an odd concept. I subbed. 💪🙏

Nice video bro, don't forget the combos, following with Y or Triangle that boost your Ki.
Definitely And thank you for sharing.
I've been building up all boards. Working pretty well for me.
Keep it up This was so clear and so smooth, thanks for the tips !
You're welcome and good luck
@@GamingWithAbyss thank you very much
You forgot something about surge, it allows you to spam moves you cant normally, you can spam beam attacks like masneko, the first time you masekno it acts nomral, the second time you actually instant transmission to your opponent allowing you to use a guarenteed hit masenko for free, this works with all beam attacks and surge, except maybe spirals due to their small size
A good tip for battles, if you finish your Combo with Y on Xbox or Triangle on PS you emit a shockwave and instantly refill your KI.
Yes, definitely and thank you for sharing the extra tip.
Charging enemies instant kills them for the same xp you'd get for fighting them. Go to Kami house and just fly back and forth hitting them. At level 35 it's like 20k every 5 seconds.
Great video thanks.

I am still waiting for a game based on the original "Dragon Ball" series! Good tips for those who are still early in the game
MrZiplineDS Hoping this game will at least have DLC featuring the OG Dragon Ball at the least. If not another game like this but focusing on Dragon Ball would be awesome. It doesn’t get the love and respect it deserves. It’s just as good if not better than DBZ
I hope they make games for each series!
@@titan20111 Agreed! We spend so much time as Kid Gohan.. Would love to spend some time as Kid Goku/Teen Goku and take on the World Tournament!!!
I've always much preferred OG Dragon Ball to any of the others.
The only one I know of is Dragon Ball Advanced Adventure on gba. I was saying to a friend I'd like an og dragon ball game in this style
I started this game 2 days ago and I love it, I knew there was still alot of things I didn’t know, thank you ❤️

It's "when all is said and done" not "when all said is done"

Eh, while that's the common term, he's not using it incorrectly. "When all said is done", is still basically when you've done everything he said. Gotta be more flexible with the language brother
Karl Schmarl but in the context of using the common phrase, he is still incorrect.
@@steveypeppers9324 who cares lol

Tip for farming gifts: hop around areas and take out red ribbon bases for some as well as gold air flows sometimes have some, from what I’ve seen they respawn when you jump around maps
Yeah so far you're the second person to say this. Thank you for sharing the tip
Gaming with Abyss I’ve been grinding since posting this and in one of the gold airways I found ultimate awakening water , best gift I’ve found yet
Just a bit of info, as the story progressed the shenron wishes got more powerful. Zeni for example went from 30k to 60k then 100k so it can be worth it in mid to end game
The 100K is definitely worth it at the end of the game
Nice vid and u got a new sub 🎮🎧🖥️💿
Thank you I appreciate the support
Thank you so much. Great info. You earned a Sub
Thank you and I appreciate the support
@@GamingWithAbyss its better to put all emblems in the cooking set before you cook or eat.Afterwards change them back
And you want to upgrade the set emblems with respective proficiency to the max.
I say eat as much as you can, whenever you can. The benefits outweigh the cost of the food, which can be bought easily through Zeni farming.
You da real MvP!
Thank you I appreciate it
Surge and Krillin's Solar Flare allowed be to defeat most of the Villainous Enemies by the end of the Frieza Saga.
Nicely done and thank you for sharing
Great video! Most complete list of tips.

Thank You!!! I had no Idea what to do with the gift items collected lol

"i want to be rich" - gives 30k
Maybe after you kill all of the rematches because the XP that you get from that is extremely high
@@GamingWithAbyss
Wait until Dende gives the ability to grant 3 wishes... much better to farm dragonballs then
It's gives you 100k after you beat the campaign
Batnano that plus farming gold fish materials and selling them.
Batnano it depends how far you are into the story , it gets more the farther you are in the story up to 100k I think
Great vid
Thank you
Pro tip go into the tutorial section and read them a lot of the things you learn the game doesn’t tell you unless you read them yourself
Go to ginger town there is a air stream on the right side. Save load spam. You get a divine awakening water everytime along with abt 5 rainbow orbs. Best way to lvl community boards
Yeah couple people have mentioned this so thank you for confirming it. That's one way and then in the post-game you can make a wish for gifts and get a bunch of them
You the Boss G.A.🤙
From what I have seen, the best tips are the training community, eating a goku worth of food, and just playing the story because it will always keep you within a few levels of the main bad guy thus rendering fighting nobs useless.
You can shoot the Dragons in the sky for horns that you can sale for Zeni as well
Yes early in the game dinosaurs and fishing are a good source of zeni. But when you get to the post game you can make a wish for 100K in zeni
1 important tipp: if u have the chance to pick kuririn DO IT!!! he has the best ability in the game (solar flare) that can stunn enemys throught EVERY attack they make
Yeah that ability for him is so great to use. Excellent tip
I just use him for support. Tien also has solar flare. I have Krillin do solar flare at the beginning of most fights, move to the side of a group while they're stunned and one shot a few at a time with super galick gun.
Eyyy... for Pirated Dbz Kaka. The orbs also spawn back each load. Also... you just load the auto save after you use the item
Wooow I did not know the campfire thing lmao
Yeah that is one thing that drove me crazy because I couldn't find it again at first
Idk if anyone plays this or not but at the start of battle it is really easy to deal significant damage straight away to 3 enemys by quickly dashing and lining them up and using your beam attack
With the surge, you also have zero cooldown for your specials. Meaning you can spam kamehamehas, etc
Yes that's an excellent tip and I do that all the time
@@GamingWithAbyss Same, game went from being "wtf!? how do you expect me to win!?" to "lol k, ez scrub"
Red ribbon army towers can drop gift items
Yes you are the third person to confirm it but I think I found a better way by using the dragon balls and wishing for rare items. You can get 30 to 60 pts to raise a character's training level
One of the tips i think you missed on was an easy EXP grind and Orb grind.
While bursting on a map and traveling you sometimes aggro random mobs who might follow you.
If you burst into them you get an instant victory and get orbs and exp for the instant kill. This is how ive lvled super fast.
This doesnt work on any party with a Villian Aura though.
Yeah that's a nice little quick way of getting experience
I posted this tip on your lvling video that is newer as well since it was lower on my list of vids. Found this a fast way to lvl.
Just discovered this if you press R3 you can unlock from all enemies and run away if you getting your ass beat 😂
I actually used the run away when I don't want to waste my time on the weaker enemies for little XP
If u spam x (on ps4) or a (on xbox) and move the joystick to any direction u can dodge soooooooooo many attacks and it doesn't take ki away and plus if u dodge u don't have to take any damage
This was super helpful, thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Never needed money, at all, in this game. I don't use healing items though. Except for in the more difficult training fights and I typically only use the sensu beans.
Thank you
You're welcome and good luck
Didn't know that you could heal up at the camp fires. Thanks for the tips
you're welcome
So would it not be a good idea to try to fill up the warrior community first before training community?
R2+SQUARE? are you sure it's not L2+SQUARE (called "Burst" move in game)?
The problem i have is getting red orbs. In the DLC part 1 and 2, in order to upgrade attacks u need at least 10000 red orbs per upgrade. It takes too long to get orbs having to fight enemies
Question? I am able to equip healing items to palette but how do you use them in battle?
Go to your menu then select items hover over the item like Vitadrink M then Register Palette. Once it is registered then you will be able to use those items in battle
d-pad on gamepad idk about keyboard

It is a pitty that there is no need to grind... I would like to have some enemies which are too strong to beat and after some solid training I am able to beat them.
Also I would like to have better rewards for completing quests. As cooking is not needed because characters already are strong enough and it is hard to lose.
I think it is to easy to collet z orbs. They are the most valuable things as they unlock new skills.
Besides, a huge value to this game would be adding costumes which you can get for completing quests. That would be something to fight for!
The villainous enemies are probably the strongest post game. As for cooking I barely did that throughout my play through and I rarely collected any of the Z orbs because you can wish for twenty thousand of them
Ok I’m late but I plan on getting this game tomorrow. Hopefully
I enjoyed the game so hopefully you will too
I came to this video hoping to learn something i didn't know but i guess after beating the game and only need 3 more achievements there much more for me to learn
This game is so satisfying
if you have the DLC it's even more satisfying
@@GamingWithAbyss indeed i do you can actually get all your characters maximum from that all u really need to do is get your training with whis up to the lvl 100 lvl and keep battling him as u farm the sacred waters and you can actually stack about 999 of them and just use those to lvl up your character
People are talking about accidentally auto-saving and losing progress. Auto-save should only be occurring at your current progress point. How can it overwrite your current progress with an earlier point?
Honestly I don't know. I've learned my lesson a long time ago to always make a save every so often and not to rely on autosave
@Genkiro Senji How can I tell which slot is reserved for auto-saves?
Thank you for sharing the extra tips
