It was season 17. The musical guest was this band called Tin Machine. The episode before it was hosted by Linda Hamilton (who was in the second Terminator movie) with musical guest Mariah Carey and the episode after it had MC Hammer as host and musical guest (with special appearances by Christina Ricci and Jimmy Workman as Wednesday and Pugsley Addams from the live-action Addams Family movies they had at the time). The three sketches Kieran was on as a child were "The 'Makin' Copies' Guy as a Kid", "The Chicago Superfans Thanksgiving Special", and this one-shot sketch where Chris Farley plays a medieval scalder teaching his son how to pour boiling oil on castle invaders. Of the three, the Superfans one is the problematic sketch because it had Kieran dressed as a Native American and smoking a peace pipe.
