- What a beautiful solo by Bob on this classic tune 🙂 i transcribed it a while back ago, and made a revisit today. There is so much to learn from Mintzer’s playing! Sorry about the poor video quality though 🙄

could you recommend some books and cd lesson for improvisation or licks etc
Hi Joao Paulo 🙂i would recommend 1) Practical theory for jazz improvisation by Craig Fraedrich. Not so many licks but good as a theoretical foundation when it comes to jazz. 2) The book pentatonics by Jerry Bergonzi. Wonderful information and usage of different pentatonic scales.3) transcribe (by ears) as much as you can. Hope it helps 🙏🙂
