We head to Bahrain where Chris puts the new Panigale V4S to the test on the F1 circuit. UK Prices: Panigale V4 £19,995 Panigale V4S £24,795 #PanigaleV4S #Ducati #Superbike
Chris Northover is without doubt, UK best motorcycle journalist out there. Informative, breaks it down so you can the viewer can actually understand about the bike. Super job 👍👍👍
Chris Northover’s review is brilliant, informative and entertaining as always. The videography-especially at the beginning and at the end of the piece-are among the best I’ve seen in any track-based review. Someone is really on their game!
Brilliant. Chris has made such a difference to your channel. Without doubt, the authority on performance bikes and makes it entertaining and easy to understand without trying hard.
That was not just the best review I've seen of the V4 but, very possibly, the best bike review I've seen full stop. Deserves a much wider audience than just UA-cam. Great work by all involved!
This guy not only has a wonderful way of explaining the bike, the feel and plain talk. Refreshing. But guys, this dude knows how to ride a bike, he is a weapon. Great rider explaining bikes to us normal riders:)
Every now and then someone does something special ! The camera work, content, and delivery was tight ! Well done, Ducati ! I am now going to review a possible Ducati purchase with street use in mind, Thanks ! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
What a great review! Enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and a good enough rider to shame most of us, giving a clear view of what this motorcycle is about :) Well done.
Love the delivery of your videos Chris. Not a gushing outpouring of praise, just a factual real world account of what's what and how it actually feels to ride, in a way anyone can easily relate to. I've yet to ride mine as it's been part of a comprehensive build project I am undertaking, but watching this only makes me hanker to get on it and see if it meets expectations.
Yet again, insightful, informative, and enjoyable. Another high quality review from Chris. Looking forward to John / Chris spinning up the V2 on UK tarmac.
I subscribed because this was such a great review. I watched it without scrubbing forward like I do with most reviews. I’m not in the market for another sportbike, but I love seeing people have fun with motorcycles. His level of excitement made me want to hop on a bike and go!
I love my V4S. Had it for 2 years now with 10,000 miles and 20 track days. I absolute love this bike due to its power, electronics and design. For me there is no better supersport and I just purchased a 4 year extended warranty on it , as I intend to keep it for some time. This bike gives you tremendous opportunity to up your game and it will keep evolving as you do. I did modify it slowly over time too to dial it in to my liking. Cheers.
Great review... looked like a lot of folks had fun in Bahrain last week. 220hp on a superbike just seems mental on a track, but on the street!?, have we reached beyond what is usable? I know we've asked that question for years... I have a 160hp bike that once upon a time people said "who needs that kind of power" and at first I sort of agreed... but after a few months I was using it all on occasion and wouldn't want less. Even so and even with only 160hp I find 'full throttle' is not something I could just grab like on my lower power bikes... I can only imagine that on the street the higher rpm ranges of this Pani are probably 'not too often utilized'. Part of that because in my state... even on the highway... I can get a speeding ticket in first gear on this bike. Anyway I may be asking these questions... but I'm still getting a Streetfighter V4S... so...
Brilliant review, very informative - hat's off. At one point, you go into a corner with opposite lock and foot down, dirt bike style - on a Panigale! Very funny.
You might already know of this, but just so you're aware.... with an R&D team as big as Audi behind them, new tech and advancements will just get better... This isn't a creation from Ducati.. its VW/Audi's. Excellent review!
I can’t get over the addition of the wings. The bike is no longer something I could spend hours looking at it just sitting there. As functional as they may be the eyesore factor is too much and you’ll never see one in my garage. Great video!
fantastic review , the most in depth technical analysis I've seen but the way Chris presents makes it so easy to take in. I'm wondering whether the new electronics features (e.g the torque mapping) will be on the V2 as well or is it not needed due to the reduced power of that Bike ?.
Chris definitely knows how to spank a Ducati. I would really like to see how this performs on S22s or similar. All these Ducati launches have you on slicks, but when you get a Panigale on road tires they kind of fall apart a bit in terms of dynamics. I don't fault them for this necessarily. Maybe they're just meant to ride on slicks. But they're not sold with slicks.
Debating between the V4 or the V4s...Pretty much the same bike besides the Ohlins correct? Second as sexy as the akrapovic exhaust is and the added horsepower, would you see its recommended for beginning track riders. All in all thanks for this great review. I wish there was one this detailed on the sk1rr 2020 as Im debating between the V4 standard and the RR. Thanks! Kyle
Favorite video on this bike. Bought one a couple weeks ago. Question, I love that AGV Ducati helmet at 11 minutes in but cant seem to fine online. custom? any idea? thanks
What is that round your neck? Would you recommend this bike for novice riders? I'm currently riding a bmw s1000r looking for lil more power but I'm not a great rider, only been riding bout 2yrs at 59 yrs old lol
So with the ecu’s and the mapping, who is truly controlling the bike? The computer 30%, rider 70%? Bottom line according to this review, it doesn’t matter because it just makes the experience more fun. And isn’t that what we buy these things for?
Chris Northover is without doubt, UK best motorcycle journalist out there. Informative, breaks it down so you can the viewer can actually understand about the bike. Super job 👍👍👍
Agreed. On point!
Vincent Saward better than neeveses?
Chris Northover’s review is brilliant, informative and entertaining as always. The videography-especially at the beginning and at the end of the piece-are among the best I’ve seen in any track-based review. Someone is really on their game!
Agreed-was very entertaining

Thanks, glad that someone's noticed the effort we put in.
Honestly this is one of the most insightful review of this bike I've seen, and you are a hell of a rider!
Great review Chris 👍 Bike World and 44teeth the only bike channels on UA-cam worth watching! Keep up the good work can't wait for the next review 👍
What a great review! Enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and a good enough rider to shame most of us, giving a clear view of what this motorcycle is about :) Well done.
I've bought my 1299s because of this guy's review in Portimao. Why the hell am I watching this ? I will go broke eventually.
Always the best launch reviews from Wayne’s World. Excellent! Party on!
What a great review! The music that follows Chris's comment about being in an arcade game is just spot on @8:55 👌🏍

Love Chris, he is a class act. Wish he had done the V2 review too
One of the best laid down reviews. Great 👍
Superb review Chris!!!! My second "TOP review" after your test of Hypermotard 950 SP few months ago.
Chris's reviews are always always top standard

Amazing review Chris! I could feel the power through your words.. Shame I won't be able to experience it though! lol..
I love Chris!! A really good review!! 😀
A terrific review. Behold my next steed ))
Insane piece of engineering
Great video!!!!! This is how you do a video review.
Beautiful bike and one of the most adrenaline pumping experiences I’d ever had

Good review. Nice bike. It's to pretty to ride. I'd probably put this in my living room and sit on it to watch football!

They're running spv3 tires at the moment which are legal for street usage. But I understand what you mean.
Not true according up Chris at 44 Teeth. They're on Pirelli slicks. ua-cam.com/video/VD9H9q4exNs/v-deo.html
Oh. Didnt seethe 44teeth one yet. Well then lol
@@killakam368 it's just the launch Q/A. The full review should be up soon
Well done mate!
Nobody review it like bike world👍💯
The review is as good as this amazing bike.
Never mind how good the bike is how good is your fucking job!!!!!
Great review, but who at Ducati decided to have the wings black....big mistake, should have matched the bodywork 😡😡
Excellent review, can’t wait to ride one
Give this guy a raise now!

Bike World New Jersey, USA
Bike World dont forget about me... any idea if i can get that helmet Valia is wearing? I absolutely love it. Thanks
👍 Fantastic review
Bravo! Bravi tutti!
I wonder if that new mapping will make it slower than the 2019 on straightaway since you get a less torque on the first 3 lower gears.
Thanks Chris.I get my state pension soon.My supersport 937 will have to go .i just need this for a tootle to the pub....

That was a great review. How close do you think it is to the R now? Seems like the difference might be very tiny especially for us normal folks.
Awesome Review
This review is Designer approved.
So is V4S a tuned down V4R ? Or the opposite ??
Will there be a speciale version?
More Chris please.
Gr8 review siR...
why dont they have wings where the hands are ?
Excellent review 👌🏽🏁
Cutting zombies in half - now there's a new edge to motorcycle marketing!
Great review! ty...
Compliments really great review👍👍
Great review
I'm surprised v4s aren't more popular. Especially in cars.
Is the Panigale V4S a good starter bike or should I go for the simple V4 version?
If your going for a panigale as your first bike. Does not really matter which one you go for. Just go steady.
Well that was rather good !
So with the ecu’s and the mapping, who is truly controlling the bike? The computer 30%, rider 70%? Bottom line according to this review, it doesn’t matter because it just makes the experience more fun. And isn’t that what we buy these things for?
Its my dream bike😍😍
So how come there so not fast in gp racing
Best review yet again from chris but you look more 'american' every time i see you 😄🙈
Ducati made a great job: now that massive power can be handled also for a guy like myself.
Joe Dirt did a great job in this review. "I got the poo on me!"
Geezzzzz.... it sounded like the GP bik
The pattern on dat cushion u r sitting on resemble with our shawl used by our tribes.

Toying with the idea of getting one of these but i can’t seem to let go of my 1299 it’s turned me into a bit of a vtwin fanboy.
My ZX10R suddenly feels ugly and old.
...really feels like you cant crash this thing....hold my beer
If someone ever decides to make a movie featuring the band Iron Maiden circa 1982 then I think I found the perfect Bruce Dickinson

OK, hand it over. :p
