The "no micromanaging" thing sounds like a dream. I drive milk tankers and it was pretty chill up until a few months ago. Then they started getting pushy. Time to put my hazmat to use. Even if it means uprooting.
@@KDSTrucking I'm just looking at getting back into some home daily with predictable hours. Get back on top of my health and model railroading. Where I'm living now, plenty of trucking jobs. Even local. But no fuel, let alone hazmat. Pay ceiling has been hit😂🐱
I'm looking to get back into fueling here in North Carolina, An love's is one of my choices, But hearing you talk abut the regional position, That sounds like a better deal. Thanks for the information.
@KDSTrucking Yeah, I about figure that out because a open driver position in NC, very similarly comes open, An the only regional trucks or in Oregon an Washington state. I'm keeping on searching an hope something come up, You be safe out there.
Great video man. I got a question. I live in TX, but they dont have anything close to me. For example, can I apply to a regional position is Missoula, MT and dont go home at all?
I didn't know they had regional positions! I've been watching the website for a local position in my state for the last month to no avail. With regional, does there have to be an opening in your area to apply?
That’s some good money. How much driving experience did you have when you got hired? And do you know if they hire sleeper drivers with no fuel hauling experience, or do you have to start out in a day cab?
Man only problem i would have with sleeper is those inward cameras watching you all day and night , can you imagine driving hundreds of miles a day without some music or a podcast to listen to , can you listen to the radio 📻 at least or is that a camera violation?
Lmaoooo you can listen to whatever music or podcast you want , at least I do . And the camera is blocked when you’re done for the day so it doesn’t bother me . If you have nothing to hide the camera shouldn’t be a problem
Great Video!!! Thanks. So do yo have to run local/day cab before they offer you a sleeper gig? Or can I apply directly to the sleeper job if its listed??
i appreciate the videos 💪 , would they consider me if i had a speeding ticket 15+ in my personal car thats over 3 years? i currently have 1 year otr experience dry van with hazmat and tanker , twic card as well
Do you know how many miles away you can live from a city you're applying for? Not local but for sleeper positions? Wondering if they treat it like otr and you can live hundreds of miles your domicile?
@@Rapitupprod as often as I want to lol the least you have to stay out is 9 days , go home on the 10th day and take 4 days off . But they let you stay out past that as long as you want

Making that type of money, I might have to give up my daycab too. I'd like to make more since taking a paycut going from working nights to days.
Glad to see you doing good Man. Been a long time since those SEFL days.
