Which means consistent freight and same customers. Better pay and better benefits. Trucking companies all want to cut corners and nickel and dime their drivers.

Station dependant companies hurt when major things happen in the economy but trucks and industry never stop. An upward integrated company is a nice pick depending on area for security. A clean record, a good head on your shoulders and some common sense goes a long way in fuel. And when in doubt make a phone call. Stay safe!

@@FAMUSNARE just depends on the area , some people get in right out of school . The regional managers can hire anybody they want basically. Some want experience some don’t . And you can stay out for as long as you want but can also be home 2 - 3 days a week as well . Some guys stay out 10 or more tho lol they love the money

Load pay is a fucking rip off. I was in a union gig before this hauling fuel, I made way more. I always work hard whether I’m load pay or hourly pay, but now that I’m load pay I’m balls to the wall all day long. Not good when you’re hauling fuel. I average $300 a day, working 12 hour shifts. No overtime.

You will gross 18-2200$ a week and woke between 45-55 hours . Miles won’t really matter just do what they give you brother you’ll like it .
