@@PetalsSepalsandSpines I’m having 6 installed on ceiling for a dark area with plants as I type. I hope my tropicals appreciate the extra lighting. Thank you again, your video was deciding factor
Thanks for the video. I have similar shelves from Ikea, and I really like your setup. Would you please tell me how you installed the light on the shelf? Did you use nails? I don't want to use nails, but I find it very difficult to use tapes on unfinished wood surfaces. Your advice will be greatly appreciated.
I just bought Barrina both yellow and pink-white versions. To me, pink-white one is not as pink as you think, looks quite white. Just wonder what is the difference between the two. I installed one of each on the same shelf.
Hi, amazing video! I have a couple questions since I just got these Barrinas: 1. How far apart do you space the lights for Phalaenopsis? Currently I have 2 3ft barrina t5's (chain connected) space about 8 inches apart, is that sufficient? I only grow phals in bright windowsills but wanted to give my bellinas/luedd and primary hybrids more light. 2. How far from the light do you place the phals? I have mine anywhere from 6-12 inches (some big ones have a lot of keikis that need to be propped up so they' re closer to the light. I hope to hear from you and love your content, I've been subscribed for years 😊
Hello! Im sorry for the delayed response, we were travelling and i wanted to measure the shelves to better help you. We also have two strips evenly spaced on our 35cm deep shelves (13inches). The phals are 12-18cm (5-7inches) away from the light, but they could probably be a bit further away and the light still work, this was just the distance we already had on the shelves. I hope this helps and you like the lights, so far they have been working great for us! Thank you for watching.
Nice! I'm looking for some new grow lights that could fit in a shelf setup for the winter... There's so much out there and I need something compact yet powerful. It looks like these might be able to deliver. Do you think the burns you saw are really due to light intensity or do you think they might be due to heat?
I bought the pinkish white set 2 years ago, and they just look white to me. I start my veggies indoors, and even had tomatoes put flowers on before the weather outside was cooperating with gardening. The only time I get any discoloration in the leaves is when they grow too fast, I swear they sometimes grow an inch overnight, and they end up touching the bulbs, and get sunburned. They're definitely decent little grow lights.
Thank you. so to the point. I will subscribe. I am going to buy some. I will subscribe. Glad you lost the unboxing footage. I dislike long unboxings. too many on youtube. Just want to see how something works or looks!

Very nice video, I appreciate that you are patient and wait until you have something more definite to talk about.
thank you so much, we want to make content that's helpful, we're glad you apreciate it :)
Lol.. 😅 your re-enactment made me laugh out loud. Nice grow room!
😆 thank you! And no professional actors were harmed during the making of the reenactment. Glad you enjoyed it!

We never got actual burns, just some discolouration/bleaching!
