Missed the beginning of the live so had to watch again. Love the start, you'll be giving signed photos out next.🤣 We're going to give Sabatini's a try on Royal Princess as we have some onboard spend. As you say a bit hit and miss but seems definitely worth a try. Thanks Jamie!
It was whilst filming the tour of Sky (releasing that one next week) I got stopped lots 😂 I thought I was only known on P&O but seems not! Such lovely people ❤️ How’s your trio going?! Loving the photos!
@@TravelBlogJamie We ate in Sabatini's this evening on Royal Princess and the service was outstanding, so much so that we've filled in a compliment slip. The food was beautifully presented with an emphasis on flavour. I thought the portion size was perfect, any larger and I wouldn't have managed all the courses. We were extremely impressed. They even sang Happy Anniversary to us.
I have eaten at Sabatini's any number of times but every ship is different obviously with their chefs.I'm boarding a NEW ship in a few months and I'm hoping for the best. I took a cruise up to New England...and Sabatini's was excellent. If you're in a suite you get to have breakfast in Sabatini's....that's a MUST...
Wow Great Review On Sabatini’s Your Lamb Tortellini And Pappardelle Definitely Did Not Look Near As Good As What We Had On The Ruby And Grand Princess. We Definitely Weren’t Happy With Sabatini’s On Discovery Princess. We Are Hoping That They Had Growing Pains Due To It Being Only The Third Inaugural Sailing. We Will Find Out On Our Upcoming October 22nd Cruise. Thanks For Sharing Guys
Thanks for another superb video Jamie - we love the concept of this (a bit like an Italian tasting menu 🤩) and for $25 would be happy to give it a try even with the hit or miss dishes. It seems like a huge amount of food though, which can be a real challenge at the end of a cruise 😅
We loved Sabatini's, the four mini desserts I chose were devine. I think I lucked out with all the dishes I chose. How funny, the couple on the next table were cabin neighbours on our Iona summer sailing last year! What a small world 😀
I think I would be ok with 6 small courses for 25 dollars. I think I would be stuffed at the end of all that. The mains looked huge and the dessert, while messy, looked lovely. I wouldn't want to be over full before my main course arrived. I would definitely try Sabatinis if I could afford to cruise with Princess. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Didn’t do Sabatinis on Regal. Is Sabatinis on Regal ??? I dunno 🤷♂️ we did do Alfredo’s however. The best pizza ever, EVER. Special mention to my waitress who practically threw the wine at me. Must have had to get rid of it or something. Must book a Princess again.
I must admit that it looks somewhat disappointing 🙁 Some people really rave about it but having seen this, I don’t think this would be for me 🤷🏻♀️ Thanks for the unbiased review 🚢
More food on that cruise horizon, this time courtesy of Princess Cruises and Sabatini’s. I’ll be here at 4.45pm BST for live chat too: see you there!
🙌
I missed a live?? boo hoo. sad face
@@Warriorbox next Saturday morning maybe, for the next?
@@TravelBlogJamie ooh, good, I am free for that... thanks - I will be there... what time approx?
@@Warriorbox 8.45am for the Sky Princess tour - just uploaded and scheduled

@@TravelBlogJamie 🥰 I see where you got the sorbet idea now!
@@cocktailswithlisa ok so the sorbet idea is actually from TGI Friday!! Have a look at their menu! It was really very good!

Thanks for stopping by!! No, not all up to scratch on this occasion 😞

The cruise World seems to get smaller even though there are more ships!! ❤️

@@Warriorbox very kind of you 🙏🙏🙏
We had a booking for Sabatini's
Which we cancelled doesn't look like we missed anything special
It’s is and it isn’t - a bit inconsistent. You’ll be fine without 😂
That was our conclusion as can have numerous courses in main dinning
@@akajasonbourne actually the pasta I had in the MDR was better than in Sabatini’s
MDR food was good service was great.
Others may disagree

It was indeed inconsistent - I think Crown Grill was better in this occasion
I have to say, I was disappointed with the food in Sabatini’s last time I tried it.
A bit hit and Miss for us which is a shame as if could be fantastic
Thanks for this..defo not booking,.......has saved me a few quid and a disappointed partner
Ooops - sorry!
