Great video. I’ve taken several versions of an online hearing evaluation, including the one one Resound. I have a very mild loss, especially in noisy environments. I currently use Apple AirPods Pro and they work well, but definitely are seen as I’m listening to music and not paying attention. So, for months I’ve waited and watched the Enhance Pro earbuds. I believe if I could just order a pair and have them sent to me, I could self fit them. However, it appears I can only source them by visiting a Beltone store for a $200.00 hearing test first. This is not only expensive, but defeats the “self-fitting” design of these earbuds.
Thank you for your review of these buds several weeks ago. I do wish some others real life user reviews would pop up on UA-cam for comparison on these buds too.

I had hearing aids about 15 years ago and I gave up on them. I now have an appt with an audiologist next week. Since yesterday I have been looking at all the different types available. It is a different world from 15 years ago. My hobby of using and following wireless earbuds has been of some help! By the way it was your channel and videos that encouraged me to look into hearing aids again. Thanks. I have a daily habit of listening to music on my earbuds. I am hoping to find a set of aids that stream music well. Any thoughts?

What do you think about OTO 413? It showed some promising results in phase 2a trials, and they are testing on higher doses now. If all goes as planned, when do you think they could be on market?

Resound have also announced the 'Custom' hearbale in additon to their Jabra owned Enhance Plus ear buds. To be launched in the US first. Lucky USA - gets all of the tech first! I am sure there will be more products from various manufacturers blurring the lines between hearing aids and hearbales following the consumer tech earbud designs. There is a potentially untapped market in the mild to moderate hearing loss market and it will be interesting to see what Apple release with the Airpods Pro 3.

Having a heck of a time with Costco hearing aids. When they first fitted them they said that I would love them and be so happy. Two months, two visits and two different stores later they are now saying I'm never going to get perfect hearing and I just need to keep wearing them to get my brain tuned into them. I tried this for a week but my hearing is worse with the hearing aids, well speech is definitely worse and background noise is distracting. I am not wearing them and go back again tomorrow. They seem at a loss of what next to do. My combined hearing comprehension is 80% I may end up with a refund tomorrow with no solution. I know you will likely say go to a professional hearing care person versus Costco but the cost is 5* and out of budget. Wondering if I can take the Costco hearing aids, KS10s, and a professional can program them better for me without costing an arm and a leg. 🤔
Sure do wish I lived in Phoenix Arizona! 😔

I just received a pair of these Jabra Enhance Plus hearing aids. I followed the personalization (hearing calibration). The sound quality is pretty good, however...
I need them to run at 9 or 10 volume (Surround mode) to get enough volume out of them, is anyone else having this issue?
For reference, my last hearing test is around 50-60 dB from 3K hz - 6 Khz.
    thank you

Are the Jabra available in Australia? I googled and I don't think they are. I have the Nuheara IQ Buds MAX (like you demonstrated?) and they are brilliant, awesome, but yes a little large. I have a moderate high frequency hearing loss, with tinnitus. My audiologist said I don't require hearing aids but the Nuheara buds are great for music and masking sounds and not a bad hearing aid. (And currently on sale here in Aus for $300AU).

Wow. Thanks for not trying to sell us on prescription hearing aids. As an RN working with hearing-impaired patients who cannot afford $5000 for hearing aids, this is refreshing. It is so sad and frustrating to see them become isolated because of moderate hearing loss. I am also hearing-impaired and I will soon be wearing bilateral hearing aids. For me, it was like a color blind person suddenly able to see red and green. There is no threat to the companies which only make prescription aids. This is a demographic who would never get hearing aids. Hopefully, most companies will offer less expensive OTC aids. I still recommend professional audiograms for my patients.

First, thanks for the very informative videos. I have learned a great deal about hearing loss and devices to aid in hearing. I am a teacher/coach/pastor and have a fairly pronounced loss of hearing which is much more prominent in my left ear. I am looking for something that I can get into to help hear and understand my students inside and on the field, people on the phone, and my wife. I was really interested in the Jabra Enhance Plus until I read another review that stated they only work with an iPhone. I need something to use with my Android (Samsung) phone that won't break the bank. My insurance only offered a $200 discount through the audiologist at my ENT. There is no insurance coverage for the actual devices. With that said, I will need to keep looking. However, I was wondering if I was misinformed about the Jabra Enhance Plus only working on iPhones.

    • @DrCliffAuD

Are the Jabra hearing aids programmed to reduce the decibel level of very loud sounds, or do they amplify such sounds at the risk of damaging hearing?

What can you tell me about the Oticon hearing aids? Compared to the ones you’re marketing here there is a massive price difference to the Oticon device and cost is in the thousands. Is it worth the cost to buy cheaper hearing aids and having to replace them more often than a top notch hearing aid that will last much longer and has great results. Also you know that in the long run that consulting an audiologist on a regular basis for check-ups is vital to your hearing and taking care of your aids.
