Although aside from the chili and the toast, these are fairly expensive meals. Easy yes, but you pay for that convenience. Salmon meal and Tortellini meals, for family 4, quite pricey, equal to takeout.
Perfect. . I think 🤔 we all have those moments when simply don't feel like cooking Soo these ideas definitely come in handy. TY 😊❤ I, also, Love a Good cup of tea 🍵.. it's very relaxing and calming.
Love your recipes Angelica! The chili looks fantastic! 😊💕 Many times I just cook up some oatmeal for supper. Add in some blueberries or cut up apple. I make rustic sourdough bread and freeze it, so I grab a slice and toast it. Lemon curd on toast is a nice treat. Growing up, we had salmon wiggle on toast. Canned salmon added to a béchamel sauce with green peas thrown in. Other times we had dried beef, hard boiled eggs cut up and thrown in, with another bechamel sauce on toast. Other times we'd eat our favorite boxed cereal with toast. It was grape jelly only as a choice. Many times we just ate peanut butter and jelly. Whatever works! 😀
Chili is definitely a great one pot quick meal! I like using 1 can of pinto beans and 1 can of red kidney beans. I recently found Rotel tomato chili fixings and it is great! Great video! ❤
You always have the best recipes, and they come out exact. I love to cook, Im the family cook and Im a great cook. I don't trust to many recipes but yours are really good, I appreciate you because if I get stomped on something else to cook I always come here. Thank You 🙏🏾
Thank you for doing making it your own sneaky shortcuts recipes! Your statement at the beginning is on point, I love to cook but some days I’m just spread too thin too❤
Been following you for years! You should consider writing a cookbook! I follow dozens of online cooks, and have bought many of their cookbooks. Yours would be welcomed into my collection!!
New sub here. I have watched several of your recipes and just ordered your cook book. There are so many recipes that I sure want to try. I really like chipotle sauce but wasn’t sure how to make it so I wrote down the recipe for that because I really like chipotle smothered chicken enchiladas. thank you for sharing all this good food! Looking forward to getting the recipe book.
Hi Angelica 👋🏼 That easy chili looks deeeelicious! I will be trying that for sure. I love the prepared salmon from the store. Crusty sourdough and hot tea is my favorite.. Yuppp! I do that pasta technique too hahaa Great video
I use canned pinto beans in my chili too...I absolutely dislike kidney beans. You've made some very elaborate recipes...you earned the right to be lazy. God Bless.
Yes, I use 2 packs of Ole El Paso taco seasoning mix when I make my chili and I thought it was my sneaky secret🤣I usually make a little over 2lbs of extra lean beef when I make this. Nothing wrong with a little cheat that tastes amazing! I also find that it is cost effective with the packets vs. buying all the spices.)
Since you wanted people to comment our favorite type of toast, my favorite easy toast is topped with a store bought guacamole and then a fried egg. I swear that it’s actually pretty good! P.S. thank you for all your amazing videos
Every meal looks delicious 😋 I also enjoy just a slice of toast with butter, jam and a hot cup of tea or coffee. The mushroom tortellini and vodka sauce looks delicious 😋 for a dinner during Lent 🙏 Same with the grilled salmon salad. So fresh and satisfying 😌😍❤
Loved that intro. I made taco meat using packaged taco meat seasonings yesterday and even that was daunting. I even used ready made stand up taco shells…too thick. That’s sacrilegious in my Mexican American heart. Lol. So, I hear you, sweetie, I hear you. Lots of love your way from our home state of Texas!
Love it! I made a variation of that chili just the beginning of the week! I needed to make dinner so that I had something to pack for lunch. I had a lb of ground beef that was hanging out in the fridge and a half jar of spaghetti sauce that was threatening to go bad.
That’s the way we thawed meat way back in the old days. I have made this type of chili forever. Quick and easy after a long day at work. I also add cornbread muffins from a box. Takes 15 -20 minutes I add peanut butter to the toast and jam. Love your honesty and recipes.
LOL! this is my everyday chili recipe! except I use Rotel Hot! and it's the best chili I have ever had! just warm up a couple of tortillas and I'm good to go!
Thank you for this video! I cook everything from scratch 95% of the time, homemade pasta, bread, etc. But that 5% I just can't deal with it and the world makes me feel guilty. So, thanks for the video. I don't feel so alone now.
So many years of coming up with 'something'. I figure over the years I have had to come up with breakfast, lunch & dinner 53,655 times. Daunting, everyone needs a quick and easy no brainer meals up their sleeve. We don't do fast food. (There is food at home.) Toast and tea can be breakfast, lunch or dessert. It's faster than drive thru & cheaper too. Scrambled eggs on toast is another 'cheater' meal. Protein, carb and throw in a piece of fruit & we've got dinner. You're not lazy, you are smart!
mmm.. I make this chili too,.. very good! I make toast, butter, peanutbutter, and a little syrup. yum! or for the kiddo, I make toast with pizza sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese. Can't go wrong with the quick and easy!
Hi! New subscriber here. Was wondering if you have any of your recipes that can be printed out? If so, where do I find them? Love your videos! Thank you.
@PinkCircle08 I made the crockpot chicken drumsticks and mashed potatoes the day after I watched the video and it was absolutely delicious. Don’t forget to add the cheese to your potatoes. You’ll keep making this recipe over and over again.
They were helpful but a lot of sodium. I use the same McCormack chili seasoning only the low sodium and Buch's Chili beans in sauce along with no salt cans of tomatoes and Better than Bouillon Chili. Smokey Chipolte, Adobo sauces one to two teaspoons each it's just as easy as yours. My breakfast is Crusty Rye Toast with Tea or Coffee and one hard boiled egg. I ner eat lunch and what you do is kind of expensive for me. But I like the ideas.
Love these! I like these because I have lots of these days! I am 76 tomorrow, Feb 23 1948
Happy Birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 ❤
Happy birthday Diana..🎉
Happiest of birthdays! 🎂🎊🙏🏼
My mother's is Feb 13, 1948. Happy Birthday 🎂💗
Have a very happy and blessed birthday 🎂 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I love your honesty and your recipes. Thank you.
Lazy chili is still cooking to me. Love chili 😋
I love lazy meal ideas. I'll make a solid 3 meals a week. The other days, we are just surviving 😂
This is how
I make my lazy meals
Very often! Ty! ❤️ your channel
I feel you 🙌🏾 I got everything I need to cook but just don’t want to 😞😩😭
COOKING IS CHEAPER THAN EATING OUT
Although aside from the chili and the toast, these are fairly expensive meals. Easy yes, but you pay for that convenience. Salmon meal and Tortellini meals, for family 4, quite pricey, equal to takeout.
Everyone says that but I don't find it is. Especially for one person. Wish it wasn't so cheap sometimes because it's so tempting
@@kistelkistel Everyone says that because it's true, for a family of four as stated.
Cheaper overall, and usually healthier. I do it, but it’s hard work also.
I have been doing it wrong then..
Those dishes are not lazy-they are smart! THEY ARE LABOR CONSERVATION. LOL
Thank you. I'm all for quick and easy meals ❤
Perfect. . I think 🤔 we all have those moments when simply don't feel like cooking Soo these ideas definitely come in handy. TY 😊❤ I, also, Love a Good cup of tea 🍵.. it's very relaxing and calming.
Running to the store just to buy the beans. I've got everything else to make the chili. Thank you

I've never seen the little tea bags that you fill up yourself. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Tasty.
For the chili I like to add a bit of Masa as a thickener and to give a subtle corn flavor.
I have days like that all the time 🤗❤
Good chili
You are sooooo good ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💕💕💕💕💕💕💕LOVE YOUR CHANNEL !

She already has cook books. More than one. I think Amazon has them.😊
Looks good and pretty much how I make chili beans in a hurry. One thing I never do is drain Rotel. That liquid is full of flavor 😊
Chili looks delicious and I love toast and tea ☕😋

Just letting you know how much I love your channel!!❤
I love when cooks share little tips like pushing the can lid in. Things that sometimes seem intuitive are often not to the novice chef. Thank you.
Since you wanted people to comment our favorite type of toast, my favorite easy toast is topped with a store bought guacamole and then a fried egg. I swear that it’s actually pretty good!

Exactly what I do. As of late I really am tired of cooking. I’m always finding short cuts.🙏

This is not cheating its improvisation on low energy days.
Bonne Maman will always get my money. Supposedly, the family that owns it sheltered people during the holocaust.

Login that intro hehe
I've got an even lazier one, that was gourmet 😂
Easy breakfast/lunch: whole wheat pita, schmear of Greek yogurt, drizzle of honey, side of dried figs. That's ancient fuel.
