I think if Wendy's did this again, even if it was for about $10 bucks, with one refill and included baked potatoes it would probably be ridiculously popular.
How do I do when you could take your potato and just loaded to the brim with bacon bits, taco meat, nacho cheese, broccoli, sour cream, and butter. I miss the 80s and 90s.
This was my fave when I was a baby. I would love putting shredded cheddar cheese on my salad and LOVED the salads and I would point to the dressing I wanted and my Dad would drizzle it on the salad. I would always get ranch lol. from 92-98? Also I loved the fact they had so many toppings for the salad and all the veggies were so perfectly cut, like the cucumbers had a little bit of green around the edges and the tomatoes were always cut in 1/8ths or triangles so when you bite into them they are so juicy...and the chocolate pudding for desert was amazing. I remember it like it was yesterday! I loved the crisp lettuce and have a feint memory of some kind of iceberg lettuce and balsamic dressing with candied pecans? Is this accurate? Does anyone else remember? I am 30 as I am typing this! LOL And a trip to Wendy's wasn't complete without a trip to Hy and Zel's and then Sandy Lion Stickers (which was like my fave store as a baby!) I wanted all the stickers and my Mom would be going crazy since it got expensive.
Maybe they should’ve included a build your own burger bar and it would have made sense plus imagine if they had fries and Chicken Nuggets on the Superbar now I can just imagine them being eaten the most.
@@lovemyfurrkids3462 --- My neighbor worked at Wendy's for the summer of 1992 and does remember being a super bar attendant. He was making $5.00 an hour full time, and this was immediately after he graduated from high school. He did not like working at Wendy's but it did prepare him for life (e.g., college, career and so on). Of course, he did eventually graduate from college a couple of years later, and he now works as a CPA accountant (mainly he does tax accounting, and he is also an accounting manager).

We had it made back then
I feel honored that I was able to live in a Time Wendy's offered the super bar.
You should be.
ditto lol
Me too
👍
Me Too. :)
Damn, I miss it!...😢
We live in such a different world today. The age of Dave shall never be forgotten.
It was fantastic.
The butterscotch pudding rocked!
1:00 is my favorite commercial. I think the little “Super Bar” song is cute lol.
Best idea ever. I’ll never forget those warm tortillas
Back when kale was a disposable ornamentation for the salad bar
Don't fool yourself that's all that shit is good for
I loved the spaghetti 🍝

Wendy's used to cater to older people then. Today they wanna go after the under 30's.
@@ChristopherSobieniak If you look at their social media, all they do is make fun of old people now.
@@somerandomguyfromtheintern480 Why I ignore it. I feel it's a disgrace to what they used to be in my childhood 40 years ago.
@@ChristopherSobieniak It's not too bad, sometimes funny. The way KFC mocks Colonel Sanders though, is way way worse.
@@somerandomguyfromtheintern480 True, I hated what KFC did a few years back. Funny but unnecessary.

I remember the Supebar. I remember surprise bacon bits in the banana pudding!

at :40 was the pasta and sauce I would devour. Loved that stuff as a kid
WOW
The funny thing is that we’re literally losing money because of how popular it was
this is what they took from you
Great place to cure the munchies 😋

Why did they do Al like that?
I worked there when they had it - and I was also making $3.50 an hour lol - not a great time in my life

I would love to go back in time to get the Salad Bar again,Not as a worker tho,That was not fun
Now a days a good meal from wendys is 15$
Just a precursor to casino buffets
Casino buffets definitely preceded the Superbar
Now they barely want customers inside...
The tacos were tha shit!
$2.99
2.99 when was that what year
Wendy needs to fall back into her dad's foot step's, I miss Dave 😭
Problem is how expensive it would be now and how much it would cost to remake and maintain
Old feihshun guy?
