For example, as a kid I almost died from internal bleeding (my abdomen had hit the ground too harshly) and with no cost I was operated and given care for 2 weeks (including meals). I agree, sometimes government hospitals may not be in best shape nevertheless you can certainly rely on healthcare system in most situations. Also many of private hospitals do work with free health insurance granted by government.

Well, our government kept their promises for the ones who returned from the war. (Pension, social guarantees, paid vacation, free apartment etc.) Plus they transformed our four new territories from literal ash to a normal place to live in.
Russia gives a good amount of bonuses and help to the residents of new regions and former soldiers that fought in Ukraine, this thing could be real to calm the possible anti-Russia movements and moods.
Russia also stimulates new regions, so free business taxation is real aswell, probably there would have been an economic zone.

Ukraine is a second/first world country with the second largest army in Europe (after Russia) that has been recieving a constant flow of equipment from Europe and America. And Russia is not fighting an all out war. Deploying a large amount of troops would be a political disaster for Russia.

6:40 there can't be different magnitudes in different locations unless there were multiple earthquakes. It's either 9.7 in one location. Or it's a mega thrust along the fault line which is more likely.
If you want to communicate different magnitudes, you use Apparent Magnitudes, or the Mercalli Scale. Which is based on Observed Intensity and finally damage done to the area.
Got to be a Part 2! How does the US respond to Russian efforts to help in the earthquake? Who do Alaskan citizens decide to choose? Does an armed conflict actively develop between the US and Russia?
