Magic girls: *gets into most played maps*
Nice to see someone with a respectable opinion mention genetics or even make fun of that in a way that might make people change their minds, because I always see players who bring up genetics don't even have strong fundamentals. Even if you can't become gayzmcgee/Aricin, it doesn't mean you can never be a good speed player. It's not like making speed scores requires you being able to stream 270 bpm for 20 seconds before you start losing acc.
I think since you started making a timeline, you should've kept doing that till the end. For example, I committed on this date, got a pass on this date, got a an A x days later, etc. I doubt you just played this map from time to time and you eventually got it. You said you couldn't do a single burst on that map. Also you said that you started working on stamina and bursts and after a while managed to pass it. You could go in detail a bit there just to create a better image. But I know for sure that playing low bpm streams that a lot of players seem to avoid gives a good advantage when learning speed. It might not make sense at the first glance, but it actually does help with controlling high bpm bursts. I strongly encourage anyone start playing low bpm streams today, it will help even with things like accing long 180 bpm streams. I can even link maps if you're too lazy to look for them.
I just want to make sure everyone understands doing that score is not just playing a map from time to time, he had very strong fundamentals in the first place like. Once you get them, learning new things will be a lot easier. Being able to farm isn't enough, btw. Farming doesn't really test most of the skills, just tickles them.
Thanks for the great advice. If you could link some of those low bpm stream maps that would be great lol
ok, I just took ur advice and grinded out 150-160 bpm streams for a while, and for anyone stumbling upon this in the future, it definitely works. I found singletapping/bursting 210 after all that to be much much easier than before.

osu.ppy.sh/b/2025904 - 128 bpm, cs5 and ar8, streamy map
osu.ppy.sh/b/1982581 - 130 bpm, cs5, similar to the map just below
osu.ppy.sh/b/986233 - 135 bpm, cs5, might be hard to aim, has complex rhythm
osu.ppy.sh/b/1371893 - 138 bpm, if you want a relaxing song, then this map is definitely for you! It's probably the easiest map from the list, definitely one of my favorites
osu.ppy.sh/b/865102 - 138 bpm, ants warning, Hollow Wings (= awkward patterns)
osu.ppy.sh/b/2077521 - 138 bpm, might be hard to aim
osu.ppy.sh/b/433168 - (139) 185 bpm, but play EXTREME with HT!!! It's mapped the way it's only 2 sliders for the whole map. Btw, it's very good for practicing acc and stamina if played nomod. Also you can check the last diff, because he hitsounded the whole song, one of the most beautiful hitsounded maps I've ever played
osu.ppy.sh/b/125702 - 140 bpm old map that has split streams
osu.ppy.sh/b/1217241 - 140 bpm, ~cs5, ar8
osu.ppy.sh/b/1554713 - 142 bpm, cs5, split streams
osu.ppy.sh/b/316018 - 142 bpm, cs2, Hollow Wings. It doesn't have that many streams as other maps from the list, but it's really hard to aim and it's a lot of fun to play
osu.ppy.sh/b/103281 - 142 bpm old map, ar8, lots of streams
osu.ppy.sh/b/95360 - 145 bpm old map, ar8, aim-friendly
osu.ppy.sh/b/1744110 - 149 bpm, cs5, relaxing map and song
osu.ppy.sh/b/827223 - 150 bpm, cs5 and ar8
osu.ppy.sh/b/772294 - 150 bpm ~cs5, pretty stacked, but has splits on streams which makes it hard to aim
osu.ppy.sh/b/827223 - 150 bpm, cs5 and ar8, has big jumps
osu.ppy.sh/b/1009022 - 150 bpm, cs5 and ar8
osu.ppy.sh/b/1736727 - 150 bpm, cs5 and ar8, short map which has 2 long streams
osu.ppy.sh/b/146372 - 150 bpm, ar8, aim-friendly old map
osu.ppy.sh/b/449920 - 152 bpm, lots of streams
osu.ppy.sh/b/1791372 - 153 bpm, cs5, unusual spacing that is changing a lot
osu.ppy.sh/b/124321 - old version of it which is very aim-friendly
osu.ppy.sh/b/1939172 - 153 bpm, pretty similar to sewing machine linked above
osu.ppy.sh/b/791081 - 154 bpm, cs5, aim-friendly, has looong streams, 2700 objects in 6 minutes yet it's only 154 bpm
osu.ppy.sh/b/374405 - 156 bpm
osu.ppy.sh/b/176006 - 158 bpm old map
osu.ppy.sh/b/207088 - 120, 140, 150, 160 bpm, one endless aim-friendly stream. It's not an actual map, but could do for the sake of practice or tracking your progress
Please make sure you check every map I linked. You will surely find something you love! I linked diffs you should check first. After you play a diff and if you find it too hard/easy, you can try other diffs in the map if there are any. I tried linking balanced diffs that aren't too hard to aim, because for example ktgster loves making maps that are very hard to aim (at least for me, because I suck at aim). Btw, I can't leave this comment without mentioning ice angel which you could slow down using a tool or a practice client (McOsu on steam) if you're okay with changing bpm of the maps
You could discover more maps by checking other maps from the given mappers or search by artist. 07th expansion has a lot of low bpm songs, surely I skipped something you will like. Eientewi sets could do as well, good stuff. Glad to help out!
Forgot to add some maps I really wanted to add:
osu.ppy.sh/b/65810 - 142 bpm old map, ar8
osu.ppy.sh/b/839711 - 146 bpm, spaced streams, camellia, probably the hardest map from all the maps I linked
osu.ppy.sh/b/323319 - 150 (200) bpm, very stamina heavy map. You could use HT to practice low bpm or just play as it is for stamina, good stuff
osu.ppy.sh/b/152480 - 152 bpm old map, cs5 and ar8
osu.ppy.sh/b/198428 - 155 bpm old map, cs5
osu.ppy.sh/b/1093661 - 160 bpm, split streams, definitely one of my favorites from this list
I guess we all understand what comes from this. They are very good for playing with DT as well
@@7kenjoyer holy... thank you so much for all the maps. I only played the first 5-6, but from what I can see, they're gonna be really hard to get consistent at, especially the
Mania player here, a few months ago i pushed my self a little bit too hard and i have gotten myself quite bad tendonitis. so if you were to push your limits yourself keep this in mind PLEASE you do not want to ruin your carrer
i'm that player who constantly pushes themselves for 8 hours and then wonders why they don't improve cause their hands are in constant pain
it's so obvious and yet i never considered it, thank you so much for these two videos, i really appreciate it.
8:28 same, I hate long streams, They scare the shit out of me.
this man inspired merami to practice 300bpm to dt maps.
Eating balls is comfortable i don't know what you're talking about
Man figures out what progressive overload is
pushing your limits on osu
ironic cuz push in japanese is osu
my fingers are getting swollen while playing this game
This is literally me right now. Holy shit. I thought it would be cool to be a versatile player, so I started playing a lot of DT maps. Damn
damn im acc player too. i want to make sure all my top play is 99% but recently turn to be 96% SMH
I love when people tell other people on how to get better or how do get trhu some hard situations with their story. you said you were also very bad with dt but you wanted to actually get better and not get pp like other people who want to git gud at dt
I'm pretty new to osu. I've got about 2 or 3 days played and I'm #300000 and the other day I pushed my limits big time did a 5.8 star with HDHR and it was like a 130 PP play and I felt great...
That's not a good play, try lower star rating so you can FC atleast
@@christiant3863 ik it wasn't a good play, Just wanted to do it
good video
【p r o p e r l y】
going your own pace, enjoying the game, not feeling you need to impress people *like rank, SS, S, A passes, and you're score really don't matter* the skin don't matter ether in some cases it does in terms of overlaps, triples and stuff but using *insert player here's skin* isn't the "key"
what is key is not burning your self out, focus on you're own growth, to as said don't fear any of the mods see them in terms of possibilities to room for growth as a player (the other modes too) try those too.
I dont even play osu but this advice is good for rhythm games in general, i fucks with these vids.
I'm the opposite. Used to be a DT player because gaining pp with it is easy. Transitioned to long HDHR maps because my speed and stamina were abysmal. I also used to be really bad at comboing HDHR but I eventually got used to it to the point where I'm able to sightread fc a 4 minute map. I'm afraid of pushing my limits because when I did i couldn't garner any results (which is probably also a result of a bad mindset).
Currently farming leaderboards and I'm happy with this transition because I am finally seeing the result of my hardwork (unlike DT).
so eventually, if you wanna get better at high BPM streams, you can play stuff like freedom dive/RoR/yomi yori etc. with NF, every few days for like 3-4 times (depending on your current stamina and how you feel) and that could make you faster at high BPM streams?
Great vid, also, thinking about it, I sure did force myself to play hard maps despite stuff like health just for the sake of improving then eventually did. Yeah I may have improved but my health sure did worsen abit coz all i focused on was just to play. I realized that people end up caring for the result rather than the process (working hard), making me think that I should've just played for fun with friends.
watching this vid 10 months later, spazza predicted the 300bpm 11* star stream map that just came around
1:10 Not from Italy but known you as a player for years since I found you through the jacksfilms edits you did and then realised you played osu! as well, I started in 2015 too btw
wtf u in 2017 is me now (to an extreme) (u know that). i am going to go in spazza i know what i must do. see u in a year
i'm literally the other way around, dt player with good fingers wanting to learn hr to push my aim limits
have tried this for a day now i have become the new rrtyui thank you spazza, very cool!
👁👄👁💅🏽I started in 2016
man i can agree so hard with the i was afraid of streams part. Every time i saw i stream independently how much bpm it was i always thought that i wont hit that part. But after i finally started to practice streams a bit and got better with streams i was sometimes happy to see streams that i finally could hit at least a bit.
I really needed this right now, because I have the same problem with streaming and hearing that a really skilled player had the same problems is, in a way really motivating and uplifting, thank you really much
I really appreciate this video, want you to know that bro!
Alright man, you win. That's a sub from me.
Your basically verto 2.0
Thx , Spazza. *pozitive mindset*
i never will get better Sadge
If you're gonna continue to say that you'll never gonna get better
Are you better now? :O
i dont understand english pepehands.
WHY SO UNDERRATED ON UA-cam OR IN GENERAL?
where are you from? you seem familliar.
Yup this is basically what I do when practicing dt and having a dt scores as some of my top plays. Except I wasn't even a good hardrock player(Or maybe a good player at all) cause I'm still struggling to read ar 10, so now my main focus is to practice hd hr. Im mainly hd only but I've started seeing improvement after finally able to set a top play score with hd hr. Its only jump map but at least i managed to be able to at least somewhat read it. I'm still learning more on streams and ar10 streams.
lol I'm the exact opposite, I can't read ar 9 nomod properly if it's under 190 bpm or so, I always have really high acc on ar 10 tho, wish you luck in getting better
Mefhisto i would abandon my ar 9 and below reading just to be able to read ar 10.3
The play smart and pushing the limit in my case
Im HD player. Im not really good on reading stream and my ideal tapping are around 150 bpm in early 2020 and i really want to improve (not just tapping the stream pattern 😂)
Im downloading the onlyforyou's stream practice map and any stream heavy map. Playing the practice from 150 to 170bpm at first. Getting S,A and C on the rank. And play it like 2-3 times atleast everytime im opening osu and playing heavy stream map or just chilling on multi afterward
And by the end of june i can get S on 180 bpm and decent A score in 190 bpm (acc choke mostly due to stamina haha). Will keep playing like that and someday i hope i can stream 200bpm consistently
And yes. Im playing only in weekend. With around 3-4 hours average per session. Im sure youll get improvement too if you really devoting into it
How is it going? did you make it to 200 bpm?
@@ashford13 welp still stuck on 180 haha. I played occasionaly afterall
But the skill is intact. Muscle memory is strong skill
i can do 190 and 200 decently but cant even go for 30s deathstream above 180bpm
@@misbahul9044yo we having the same problem, 180 is just too hard to get past for me like sometimes I can hit a 190 but not for longer than like 3 seconds lol
Idk if it's just me but I think spazza sounds like Davie504
well both r italians
yeah i mean kinda goes without saying
nice
erom yalp
i see
yep
Hello
thx
Nice vid
thats cool and all, but im 200k, cant play 4*s, and 5*s are almost too slow. yet 7*s, i cant even pass most of them.
im stuck in a weird place :/
Then play 6*, 5.7*, 5.5*, and etc. Play with DT, there are thousands of maps out there.
play in multis specializing in 5-6*maps, multis are super underrated for getting more consistent. multi lobbies is where ive found most of my growth since 2016
Play dt maps.
i am a 300k and i passed my first 6* in a while
