I like the black but did order a slick wrap. They have a panda collection that will let you have the black and white color when you want to switch up.

Nice review. Big debate all over the place over the screen. I think google needs to increase the vivid mode a good bit more. Here is the issue... The pixel 1 XL had a very saturated screen which I actually love... Most people jumping to the pixel 2 XL are coming from the original pixel. The change is pretty big and takes time to adjust. If you make the vivid option more saturated, then people can choose between a more balanced sRGB phone by default or activate the more saturated mode... What worried everybody reading the poor reviews of the screen is the blue tint and banding issues... What do u really think of the display? I'll get mine in a week to test first hand. I checked the test units at Verizon and liked the screen of the original pixel better... We'll see how I get used to the new one over time...
I think your right, it's definitely a change from the original Pixel. I actually do like the display and I haven't noticed any banding problems or tint with mine so far. Thanks!
Pichi Tech not a big deal. Google has recently stated that they’ll fix this by adding a toggle switch for sRGB.
